Genie Francis dishes her Primetime Gig AND the Jake Accident!

Wow, great interview from Terry Morrow on Knoxville.com!!! Not only does Ms. Francis talk about her upcoming role on Current TV, she dishes Y&R and GH!! Leaving nothing out, Genie really lets her feelings known about the show.

Excerpt:

For the record, Francis says she has not been approached about returning to "GH." She'd like to do it, but can't wait forever. "I just don't see that offer forthcoming," she said. And even if she were approached, she wouldn't want to return unless Laura had a better story to play. The idea of Laura and Tracy mixing it up over Luke is something Francis relishes.

Great stuff.

  1. Genie is way too good for Guza. He does not appreciate or respect what she brought to GH. She and Tony Geary's story brought GH to number one in the 80's. Guza would not be able to write a strong woman that isn't the victim. I think every woman on the show has either been attacked or had a breakdown ( even Guza's beloved Carly had a breakdown over sonny ). That is one reason I used to love Anna Devane ( Robin scorpio's mom0 because she was an agent and could defend herself. Now Liz is GH's favourite victim soon to be portrayed as pathetic on a regular basis. Genie , you made the right decision.

  2. Okay,so Genie Francis is aware of how much the fans hate the show right now, but TPTB are somehow wrapped in a bubble, content to believe that they can make us like whatever they want...I'd love for someone to take a poll somewhere to see how many "fans" have stopped watching since the Jake mess...

  3. I was struck that she read EW's blog. She never stuck me as a "net person" so those actors that LOVE the internet HAVE to be reading this stuff about the show out there.
