Frank Valentini named Vice-Prez of CyberSoaps

He kinda looks like David  Vickers??

According to Deadline, Prospect Park has put One Life to Live showrunner Frank Valentini in charge of both All My Children and One Life to Live, by making him vice-president of serial dramas for the company. Valentini will also continue on as executive producer of One Life to Live.

Read it all on Daytime Confidential.

What does this mean to me?? Well,I obviously am happy since I love OLTL and Valentini is one of the best in the biz.  Other than that...no clue if this will be a good thing in the long term or what. Like I've always said... GIVE ME THE STORIES and I'll watch!!

  1. Of course its a good thing!!
Cyber soaps have to have the best.
    Especially during the transition.
    Very good news!!!
But then again, look how excited I was when Guza was fired and GW was brought on. Now I am not soo happy!!

Karen, you may or may not know the answer to this. Maybe one of my fellow posters will.
Is there a box that you can connect your computer to that allows you to watch internet TV on the regular television??
Have we learned anything more about how to access these soaps??

  2. Yes, if your TV is internet ready you can... we have that cable I'll find out from Wub Hub what it is. Also, if you have wireless, you can transmit that way as well--my brother does it from his Mac to his TV.

  3. How do you know if your tv is internet ready?

I do not have wireless yet, plan to shortly. In that case, I wouldn't need a box???

Sorry, I make the AMISH look hi-tech!

  4. if your tv is hdmi capable than you can get a router box however you do need to have wifi aka wireless. the wifi router is basically like a surge stip for power cords. it plugs into the tv via the hdmi cord and then allows you to "plug" or connect wirelessly and via cords, all of your devices, gaming systems, computers, etc. to the box without having to plug them all into your tv. i don't know if it would work for a desktop computer but i know it does for a wireless laptop. i am still trying to find a solution fo tvs that are not HDMI capable but have not found a good one as of yet.

  5. Ps. I do not exactly know the name of the "box"/Router I know one brand called it screencast but there are better ones. in addition the tv does not have to be internet ready for this box to work
