Kirsten Storms is BACK on GH in late Feb.

Soap Opera Digest has learned that GENERAL HOSPITAL's Kirsten Storms will return to Port Charles as Maxie at the end of this month and will begin airing in late February.
Here's to her return and a BIG THANK YOU to Jen Lilley who I thought really did a great thankless fill-in job.

  1. That's great news. I also thought Jen did a great job. Maxie is a very unique character and not an easy role to duplicate.

  2. I actually really like jen lilly. Haven't been enjoying the character of maxie in quite a while but I thought jen brought something interesting. I'll be on the lookout for her next gig

  3. What a treat to finally have someone step into a temp role and actually get the job done. Only when I found myself saying how annoying she was or that her voice was like nails on a chalkboard, was when I understood how well Jen Lilly owned "Kirsten Storms Maxie". Great job! Looking forward to Kirsten's return though!

  4. YAY! SO excited to see our real maxie. I agree jen did well, but the tone of her voice was on my nerves after about a week. For whatever reason Kirsten never annoys me, even when she's naughty. Kirsten is maxie for me, so I started FF'd thru Jen's scenes unless I liked her hair or outfit, lol

  6. Wow, I agree it was a thankless job and she did the best anyone could, but Maxie was high on my favorites list with Kirsten in the role. Jen, I am sorry, killed the character for me. She was great but definitely not lovable. I am very excited that Kirsten's on her way back!

  7. I thought Jen did a GREAT job, it's just that KS IS Maxie, but Jen really worked it, she is amazing.

I CAN'T BELIEVE how stupid the LIW S/L is, with Dr. Eeeew-in blabbing all the confidential information about her case, EVER HEARD OF HIPPA LAWS??

  8. Jen did a fabulous job. One of the best 'temp' actors in years.
    That said, WELCOME BACK Kirstin!!
Now lets hope they turn your character into something other than a 'scattered brain'!

  10. While Kirsten Storms was recuperating in rehab, I wonder if she ever tuned in and saw her replacement and thought, "OMG, am I THAT annoying?"

  11. I loved Jen as the fill-in Maxie. She brought a sweetness to the role and ,at the same time, continued with the usual loopy Maxie of KS.I actually like Jen better than KS even though she is one of a kind and a fan favorite.

  13. When I first heard that Kirsten was being replaced for a bit I was "oh boy, here we go again, another bad temp" especially with a role such as Maxie, which is so unique. However, I found Jen to be amazing. From day one she was Maxie. The only distraction for me were the two different hair styles between the two actresses. Jen took a very difficult role and tried extremely hard to duplicate Kristin as well. I hear some were not fond of her voice, does that mean you were fond of Kirsten's voice. I thought Jen did everything possible to duplicate Kristin (except for hair style). Jen should receive kudos for her performance. I actually emailed Jen and thanked her for her work. She is a very intelligent and honest young woman. I mentioned to her that I thought it would be great if the new writers could find a way to bring her back as Maxies twin sister. Anyhow, I just wanted to add my comments and say that Jen did a great job and I hope to follow her career whereever it goes.
