Remembrance

 

I was going to just do a typical filler today until I realized it was the 11th. I just want to say a few things --and I know you're surrounded by memories but this has to do with the soap community. In 2001 the internet was just blooming. I was on the AOL soap boards at the time and we posted daily about life and our show, GH. I was also on Soap Zone. That day, numb and scared, I logged in and found people to talk and grieve with. I was home alone and didn't quite know what to do. People who I had never met in person were there to just BE with and process things. That bond has lasted for a long long time. 

If you ever get the chance to go to the memorial in NYC, it's well worth your time. The underground is harrowing but captures the tone and tenor of that day while honoring those that were in the towers and also the heroic first responders. We have also been to Shanksville PA at the site of flight 93. Also worth the time and drive.

HELLOOO it's Thursday! I will be out tomorrow-- so enjoy my thoughts today!! 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Dante goes to Anna's. She gives him her gun/badge. "I'm not fit to serve" . Tells Dante she wasn't well when she came back. Has to do the work to regain her sanity. She says she wants him to be acting commish. He says ok. Then Anna also tells him he might hear from Britt and to do his duty. 

At GH, Emma tells Felicia about Anna and she needs a really good therapist. She tells her what happens. Why? I don't even know.

Britt tells Lucas about her night. Britt tells him. Says Jason stopped her. THEN EMMA goes to talk to Britt and Britt's like: Anna's a LUNATIC, LOCK HER UP! Emma pleads with her.  Britt is like NO WAY. Emma brings up all of Britt's sins and says: LOOK AT YOU! Felicia steps in and reminds Britt she got another chance. 

Emma and Felicia talk and Anna steps out of the elevator. She's going to have a consult with her therapist. Emma hugs her. Anna goes in to wait for the doctor. Felicia comes in. Anna fills her in on getting out of the France place and that she used Felicia. Felicia understands. 

Britt crabs to Lucas--NO ONE CARES. Lucas says she makes it hard for people to care.  They have a decent talk about her having some empathy. 

Chase tells Joe at the PCPD about Brook being the culprit in the accident. Says she also covered it all up AND went to great lengths to make it look like someone else did it. Dante comes in and tells them that Anna's on leave. Then he corners Chase to talk about Brook. Chase is staying at The Metro. 

Tracey hired Diane to represent Brook Lyn but she can't make it so Alexis comes over instead. Oh NED AND ALEXIS :squeee: She says Brook could be charged with leaving--after hitting the guardrail which is private property. Unlikely though. Plus, the ADA is friends with Jordan. OMG is this going to linger on and on?? it's not OVER?  

WELL...ADA comes to the Q house and hears from Alexis what happened. She wants to know WHEN Brook knew the accident happened. How long? Brook tells her. The upshot is that legally she can really only get some misdemeanor for hitting the guardrail and not reporting it. BUT the other parties could view it as more. Maybe a civil suit. 

Trina is on the couch (I guess Britt left obv) and Gio comes over to check on her. She's just so mad at Brook. They aren't sure about their singing career; where to go from here.

Joss and Jason talk at the boathouse about everything. She admits Cassius didn't do what she said he did. The WSB wanted a narrative. He realized she got him out. She feels badly for blaming Cassius when he saved her life.

Weather Update: RAINING like cats and dogs here--AGAIN. We've gotten a lotta rain this summer!! Hey, our water table will be awesome, right? 

Last 2 days have been stunning--let's see what Wed brings!! 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Anna still going to shoot Britt. She is talking to Peter in front of them. Jason's like:Um, what? Peter pops off again--then Anna says "you're just like your father" and shoots the air. "Peter" is dead. She freaks out BADLY. Jason tells Britt to run. He talks to Anna. She tells him about seeing Peter. She thinks he'll always be there like an echo. They end up walking away.

Joss and Hudson are talking in her apartment. He says she needs to move to Australia. She says no. She likes PC. He says you just want to be in the WSB. Then Britt comes to the door. He leaves. Britt needs to have Joss call Brennan. Joss is like: WHY? She tried to kill me! Then she says Jason was there. Tells Joss the story.

Portia and Isaiah hear that it was Brook Lyn that didn't stop for the accident. Trina and Kai are in Portia's office. Portia can't even BEEE_LEEEVE IT. Isaiah says Brook owes him an apology.

Trina tells Kai she might want to fire Brook as her producer.

Gio's all pouty because his Mama LIED AGAIN. Emma's like: DUDE, calm it down. Gio continues to cry/pout but he sees Emma's point about still loving your family when it's hard.

Nedly is hugging Brook and telling her it will be ok. Brook doesn't think so. He tells her about the time he covered for AJ drinking/driving to protect Monica. Good scene. Also that he doesn't hold out hope for Chase and her making it. Lois left when she realized how the Qs operated. Gio walks in. Ned leaves. Brook tells him she absolutely didn't know they had gone off the road. He's not so sure he believes her.

Chase shows up at Willow's. His world fell apart and he has "no where else to go" :eyeroll: Willow asks what's up. He says it was Brook driving the car that night and then framed Willow out of jealousy. He says he has to leave. AHAHAHA Okay, will you really go? 

Jason takes Anna to her apartment. Emma's concerned. Jason is going to come back and stay the night.

It's been a BEAUTY DAY here-- just gorgeous. I hope this is what fall will be like. David makes fun of me telling you about the weather but that's because he's jealous. Where he lives, it's hot. HOT. and MORE HOT. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

WHOPPER START!! 

Drew thinks Scout is at Sonny's and barges in. Alexis is like you can shoot him--then says: KIDDING ahahhaa.  They find Scout's phone on the couch. Drew tell Alexis she is in BIG TROUBLE for not following the restraining order. Alexis calls him a jackass and he leaves but they are going to REGRET THIS!! He leaves. Sexis decide to team up against DREW! WHOO HOO. Well, Alexis says that she's going to lie to Drew about seeing Scout. Sonny says he'll back her up.

Scout and Rocco kiss at the dock. They like each other awww... BUT WHERE'S OUTBACK? Outback comes back. Then Sonny calls and tells Rocco if he knows where Scout is, tell her to get home asap.  

Ava goes to Drew's and says don't call the sheriff...!! They'll look around the Q estate and find Jack!! She asks if he called her friends. He says he doesn't KNOW her friends. LOL Scout comes in and Drew hugs him. Says she was with friends. He asks her about the phone being at Sonny's. She says yes, she was giving Donna a hoodie. He says I don't believe you. Were you with Danny? He asks She says YES! I guess to spare Rocco?

Isaiah tells Ava if she doesn't pinpoint the tick location now, the county will come knockin' lol. She says: Oh yeah, I did pet a dog today outside the Art Gallery! 

Trina confronts Brook about the accident. She confesses. Chase thinks she's covering. Nope she says it was her and describes the accident. Jordan is pissed. Trina goes off--My FATHER is in jail because he thought it was Isaiah. She keeps yelling. Tracey tries to defend Brook but Trina won't have it. NED WALKS IN! MY NEDLY! He's like: WTH is going on!!? Trina leaves. Chase says it's all his fault that he figured it out and assumed Brook was covering for someone because she would never LIE TO HIM! 
He runs out, Brook follows. She tries to explain about the wine and he's not having it. He Can't even LOOK AT HER! Storms out. Brook goes to the stairs and rocks and sobs. 

Tracey tries to get things under control in the living room. Jordan leaves. Gio has questions. Gio cry-yells about things. :Eyeroll: He wonders if that's why Brook did the showcase for Trina. Ned says no, she knows real talent when she sees it. 

Michael and Jordan talk at the boathouse. She whines about her face. THEN she wonders when Michael knew everything. 

Anna tells Britt it's personal and she's ending this NOW. (points a gun at her) ...talks about Faison. Britt says: Um, he's dead, you know that right? then Petah comes out of the dark. "DO IT NOW".  She tells Britt that she's the "last Faison Standing" and has to die. JASON COMES OUT OF THE WOODS! She's like "oh I wish you hadn't have come" . Jason says he doesn't have a gun. Wonders what's happening. Britt says she tricked the people at the institution and isn't well. She thinks my father is alive. Then Anna's like: Faison might be dead but he's alive through his CHILDREN and she has to die. Jason says What about Maxie's kids? James? Bailey LU?? you going to kill them too. He says Faison would win if she did--she'd go away from her family forever.

More Cast Additions --Labor Day

TODAY'S SHOW IS A REPEAT OF A TRIBUTE TO TONY GEARY. We have prepared for you the latest cast addition list for this fall. Frank and Co decided there just wasn't enough newbies to fill out the roster!! 

Deception launches a new line of cosmetics called Allure. Nia Baker (character name) will be the new face of Allure. She comes to town as a relative unknown, but her past is following her.

Dirk, a drifter, finds his way to the Q stables and Cody hires him as a handyman. At first, Cody thinks he looks familiar to him. Hmmm.. does he?

Josh is the newest bartender at Charlie's Pub. He looks like every other male actor recently hired in the cast.

Outback gets a dog walker.  Her name is Rayne from NYC, forced to flee to Port Charles to live with her Aunt Amy.

Julius, a suave and debonair swindler will romance three ladies (Tracy, Nina, Ava) at the same time and fall in love with their pocketbooks.

Jose and Beth are self-proclaimed swingers who become friends with Ned and Olivia. They convince them to have a party at the Q mansion, with Ned and Olivia oblivious to what is really going on. (Hilarity ensues)

Isaiah's little sister Cami comes to town to shake up the teen set.

Mystery serial killer is on the loose, killing all the newbies that have appeared since Spring 2026. New or existing character? Male or female? Have to wait to find out.

Sunday Surgery: Tick-Tock

 

I mean, nothing screams burying bodies in a wooded area like picking a tick off your friend's head in The Metro Court Dining room, right?  Will Ava get on some Doxycycline and will it be used in court to show her guilt? What about Drew? Does he have any? My concern is of course, for Outback. Hopefully no ticks on her!!

GH BBQ Interruptus Today

 

FRIDAY!! This week has been such a clunker so far. Even with Jack drowning, it has just NOT held my interest. 

TODAY'S SHOW:  (interrupted at 2:20 with the trial stuff)... so it will be choppy

Alexis and Sonny work on dissolving his partnership with Jason. He signs papers. Rocco comes over to get the pasta Sonny made for the party at the Q's. Scout is with him. School starts Tuesday. Alexis says please keep an eye on Scout for her. 

The Q's Labor Day BBQ:

Chase and Emma are chopping limes. WHY? So Emma can drop in that Brook wasn't at Trina's first gig at Charley's that night. OMG. Chases' one brain cell is turning.

Brook wants Gio and Trina to sing for the party. They agree. Jordan and Michael come in. Tracey pulls Jordan aside and tells her to keep an eye on Drew because he'll stab Michael in the back first chance he gets. Lucy walks in. Tracey says hi, Chase takes her to the kitchen. Asks her if she got the shares of Deception from Brook because she lied to the PCPD. 

Drew and Martin talk and Drew says Brennan won't be a problem anymore. Says he decided to not 'poke the bear' and let it stay buried. He tracks Scout to the Q's party. No, sorry to Sonny's house. I guess she left her phone there? 

Isaiah gets the tick out of Ava's neck. Where did you get THIS? he asks. OMG it was a Lone Star TICK!! He has to report it ! ahahahaha. Ava's taking antibiotics to make sure she doesn't get ill. 

At GH, Britt tells Tristan Stella gave her last part of the day off to go to the BBQ. She's going with Jason. Tristan talks to her about being Faison's daughter and leaving her past behind. Dull convo.

Anna's at the shooting range flashbacking to her captivity. Jason walks in. Anna says you never know when someone is going to pop out of your past and ambush you so she has to practice. 

AFTER THE INTERRUPTION: 

Chase figured out Brook drove the car that night of the accident and passed them on Rt 91.  He wonders if someone borrowed the car that night and she didn't tell him. She says she'll talk about it later. TRINA HEARD ALL OF IT! 

Scout and Rocco dive into LAKE ONTARIO to swim and Outback runs into the bushes. 

Anna tells Britt to come to Mt. Something and meet her. Tristan overhears the convo. Then Jason comes in to pick Britt up and Tristan tells him. 

Anna puts a kill tarp down on the ground while Britt drives there. Britt ignores Jason's phone call.

This year will not have any speech pathology tasks (that I know of) but I'm transitioning too social media/marketing for a local food bank. Ergo, SOMETIMES I will have meetings here and there. Today is one of those days. I should be back for most of GH -- so I'll see you when I see you.

TODAY'S SHOW:

ADA and Sonny meet in the love shack. Sonny gives her  cornhole trophy. She left without it from the BBQ. They talk about their relationship and Donna. Sonny says now that he's a legit guy, they can be 'in the open'. He suggests a vacation together.

Chase asks Joe about the car accident. They both have questions. They go over all the information on that damn accident. 

Valentin and Charlotte go to Carly's for breakfast. Carly tells Char that Donna wants to talk to her upstairs about school clothes. She leaves. Carly tells Val that Jack is missing. Charlotte listens in. She hears about Joss calling WSB. Leaves. Then Valentin tells Carly Jack could have set it all up to point the fingers at them.

Jason tells Valentin about Danny and Char. Val says thank you. Carly's like SIX MONTHS of no driving??? Jason's like YEP.  Val hopes Jason doesn't bar Danny from seeing Charlotte because they are good friends. Jason says he won't.

Danny tells Jason about the truck. Jason gives a Dad lecture. Gives him safety lecture. Can't drive ANY vehicle for 6 months and has to pay off damages. BRO! Danny's upset! SIX MONTHS? HAHHAA

Charlotte leaves to go find Danny. He tells her he told Jason about the Truck. She said no biggie and she was happy to go with him. 

Ava and Drew meet in public AGAIN at the METRO--AGAIN to talk about Jack's death. Right there. In the open. Nina rushes in. Asks Ava what Drew has on her. Drew gets bitchy with Nina. Leaves. Nina can't understand why Ava is with him. Ava says she has no reason to hate him. She says they have a common goal. OMG Ava's scratching her head..has Nina look at it. SHE HAS A TICK. 

Joss meets Agt. Baines that is in to find Brennan. Tells her to keep her nose out of it. She balks. He's like TOO BAD go do your assignment. They want info on all sub companies within JJE. He asks her about Brennan's disappearance and if she found anything out. She says no but could be foul play. Then they sit and talk a bit. He says asks no questions about Jack because she's suppose to not be in the WSB. Then he says be prepared that Jack ran--he botched his last assignment. Baines says HE WILL FIND HIM NO MATTER WHAT. 

Drew breaks into Nina's car. In a flashback we see him take Brennan's wallet when Ava is going back to look for a shoe in the trunk. He's going to plant the wallet in Nina's car.

Greetings on a STORMY WED here !! WHY the hell did they kill off Jack when I was finally getting to like him?? He 'fit' with Nina and the WSB story expanded. It figures. 

Ok, WHATTHEFKEVER ---let me just sit this one out. GH has no direction and obviously is just trolling us now. ANOTHER NEWBIE.  NOTE: he's on tomorrow as a WSB guy there to look into Jack's disappearance. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Lucas and Britt are having drinks at the bar because Ava skipped out on him. He talks about his new apartment. He has a mustache. Britt tells him she doesn't like Joe. They banter and she calls him a squatter. Yada yada, Jason talk. 

Val and Anna are at the shooting range. She's a better shot than him. They talk about how Faison got into her head and she blames Cassius and Britt. Val says, NO the villain here is Cullum and he's dead. Then Anna wants to shoot alone. She tells him she'll get an Uber home. 

Gio and Trina taking a break. Joss can't get ahold of Brennan and they have a meeting later. She's concerned. She runs out. Now Hudson is concerned. He goes over to Brook to ask about Phoebe. She's too happy to talk to him about her. 

Jason and Carly searching Jack's room. He realizes someone was already there. Then Joss comes in. They are all thinking Jack was a target. Joss mentions their meeting. Carly's like THOUGHT YOU QUIT! Joss is like: Ermmwell I uh... Then they figure out Jack is really missing. Carly wonders if Joss is going to call it in. 

Char says her bracelet was lost at the Metro Court pool. Danny says they find stuff at the bottom of the pool all the time. She says it has a C on it. Then Chase comes in and says "AH HA! The suspects"

They show OUTBACK--meaning he'll find the body.  Chase is watching him while Cody is gone with Molly. He figured out the kids took his truck. Danny fesses up. Chase is pissed. Danny just wanted to impress Charlotte, he didn't think it would be a big deal. Chase gets angry, Outback runs off and Char goes after her. Chase tells Danny he's going to tell his father.

Ava and Drew bury Brennan on old Quartermain property. It was deeded by Monica to the city and is protected. Ava thinks people will see a freshly dug grave. Drew's like: NAH No one comes out here. The put him in the hole. Have a moment of silence. Then they hear Outback bark and they run. The grave is covered.

Not much to say about today except Happy September!!  To me, it's always been the 'new year' because of the school calendar. So.. HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

TODAY'S SHOW

Looks like we are starting Sept with a body! Too bad I just started to like Jack...FIGURES. :Eyeroll: 

Kids find Brennan. Danny turns him over. They jump out of the pool "he's dead". AHAHAHA they don't even TRY to do CPR. GEESH. Danny wants to run. Char wants to call 911. He's like nope, I'm not getting in trouble for this. They leave. I guess the cameras being off will help that situation but they didn't know they were off. Oh, and they STOLE CHASES' truck for some damn reason-- and he put a ding in it. This is bizarre.

In a weird move, Ric has to talk to LULU about going with Liz and Portia and Isaiah to see Trina tonight?? WHAAT. Oh yes, he's intimidated by 'talking to medical professionals".  She says "be yourself" ..he's like 55 right? Anyway, Dante comes along and Ric leaves. Dante is concerned about Rocco.  Same convo as he had with Britt the other day. 

Scout and Rocco are at the boathouse talking about the DEBATE CLUB. 

Then ALL the kids are at the boathouse. Danny tells them he took Chases' truck. Scout goes nuts. He says whatever, Drew will always hate him. Then they argue about her father. Char calls him a jerk that gets off on hurting people. Rocco knocks Charlotte's Dad. Scout cries and runs. Rocco follows her.

Liz meets Isaiah and Portia at the Metro and they are going to go see Trina perform. They have wine and appetizers first. Ric comes in. Says hi. They talk about softball and Liz having pointers from Dante. They sure aren't hurrying to Trina's gig that's for sure.

The CAT'S EYE LOUNGE looks Lisa Frank. Simon is there. What a terrible actor. Joss shows up. Then Hudson because she invited him. THE CAT'S EYE IS IN ROCHESTER PEOPLE!! Hudson thinks it's dumb to meet in a lounge. They try to banter but--oofff..

Emma and Kai show up in "Trino" tshirts. Quinn comes along so both Simon and him are calling Trina "the star" ..  Simon tells Kai not to ruin Trina's chances.  Gio thanks Brook for helping him out with his music. Then Trina sings and Gio plays. Slow Song. Everyone loves it. Then Gio and she sing a duet. Everyone loves it. 

Carly finds out the security system was tampered with. She calls Jason to help fix it because the company will take awhile. HE says it's a virus and Brick or Spin can fix it. Who could want the cameras off? To do what? She thinks to target the WSB chief. She wants to run to Brennan's room to search it. 

Ava urges Drew to hurry up. She leaves. Drew finally goes but he's empty handed. They go to the pool area. See Jack floating. Ava says she's the last one seen with him. They can't let an autopsy go on. Drew goes into the pool to get the body. Then Ava gets in. They haul Jack's body into a laundry cart.

They are going to put Jack in Drew's trunk and dump his body somewhere. 

The gang of 4 are having a blast but no sign of going to watch Trina

Both Quinn and Tristan are gone and at the end, someone is shown cutting out photos of Trina for the board. 

Charlotte lost her bracelet and it's caught in Jack's sleeve.

It's time for another MONDAY!! ... YEP. Here we are, the last day of AUGUST.  OY! 

So some recast is coming soon according to Steve Burton...but not someone on canvas. Most ppl are speculating Jerry or Jasper Jacks. Hmmmm..

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Jack is going to leave but Ava tells him his drink is there and she has a warning for him. She wants to tell him about Nina and her whole past so he can understand her better. He sits and drinks the spiked drink. She tells him about Nina/Willow/Madeline. He's getting hot and loosens his tie.

Laura, Drew and Sonny talk about how much they hate each other. M'kay. Laura wants one to step away from the pier thing. Drew says NOPE. Sonny says NOPE. They exchange words. Drew finally leaves. 

Drew goes into Carly's office to override security. He has 2.30 minutes to get into Jack's office. He runs out of there...

Meanwhile Jack is in the elevator going up to his office but is looking ill. Ava tries to text Drew but he doesn't see it. 

Dante and Britt talking in the Patio restaurant about Rocco. HE's been distant lately. Has he confided in Britt? Britt says no and gives Dante teen 101 advice. He thanks her, she leaves.

Carly and Val make out in her office, she has to go after getting a phone call. Drew had a package delivered to his new Aurora office and she's going to use the opportunity to get in there and snoop. Valentin finds a false door and an envelope that can help them.

OH! Char and Danny want to get into Drew's office to snoop around too. They start breaking in when Carly and Val roll up so they hide. Charlotte has another plan and they leave. She wants one last swim. 

Boathouse stupidity: Chase and Willow. :eyeroll: Still dancing around things. Chase says nothing will ever happen between them and he loves Phoebe and Brook BUT!! Willow needs a friend. Oh brother. They keep talking. Chase finally leaves. We see that Rocco and Scout have been listening the whole time. Scout thinks maybe Willow's been in wub with Chase since she's been with her father. Rocco isn't so sure. Well, Scout is! 

Back at the Metro:

OH WOW, guess what? Curtis and Sidwell are roomies. I will not be good with prison chatter in one room for the duration of this. It echoes. they don't have desks or blankets or a toilet.

Sunday Surgery: Movin' On Up

 

I thought maybe if I looked at this week's GH as a sitcom, it all would fall into place. The Joe/Lucas situation is VERY "Three's Company" with the misunderstandings and cheeky dialog. So, perhaps THAT'S what the direction of the show is. Multi-camera comedy?? Maybe? 

Either way we have to get through the week so grab what you got and let's GO GO:

IT'S A FRIDAY--and..... will we GET a Friday??!! Hmm... We shall see! It's been awhile since we've gotten a really decent one, that's for sure. I'm really tired today so I hope I make it. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

It's the next day. Bunch of people meeting for tete-te around town. 

Q BOATHOUSE: 

ANOTHER stupid Chase is 'shirtless' and runs into Willow.  :EYEROLL: He picks up the croquet set she dropped. She whines to Chase the whole show about how everyone is mean to her, especially Michael. He asks if Michael made her move into the gate house. She's like YEP

POOL: 

Ava and Nina talking about Sonny and how mean he is. Nina tells Ava she shouldn't mess with Sonny. Ava doesn't care. 

Serena and Michael. She is in her bathing suit. They are talking about a new direction for Deception. Glass refillable bottles. She tells him to take off his shirt because they are at a pool. He does. Nina comes over and says snotty things and also calls Serena "another hooker" pffft. Serena tells her who she is and she's running part of Deception now.

METRO: 

Laura and Sonny. He tells her he's quitting the business. She's like: you can? He says yes because Jenz is in jail. Hey, makes no sense to me but whatever. Talks about the piers and Drew's out to get him. He might even use their grandson to do it. Laura is APPALLED! Wants Sonny to keep the peace while she's gone.

Martin and Drew. Marty gives him a zip drive that can corrupt any system, any where. Drew says he's going after Brennan first, then Sonny. Marty's like why Sonny. Drew sees him as the link with all his enemies. 

Then Ava and Drew meet. He tells her the plan to have a drink with Jack--he even has a PILL to give him to 'slow him down'. She's like NO WAY. He manipulates her with Sonny talk and she takes it. It's only a generic sleeping pill btw. She takes it, crushes it up. Meets with Brennan at another table. 

Jordan and Anna--talk about the damn accident. Curtis didn't take the plea because he needed someone to blame. They keep talking about it. anddd talking about it. 

In Carly's OFFICE, Val and Brennan are there with her.  Carly tells Brennan she figured out the WSB wants Joss to run JJE. He doesn't disagree. He tells Carly to stay out of this because Joss has a job to do. They blab about Carly being with Valentin. Jack says he'll always pick Anna over you anyway...and leaves. Carly says she gets Anna and Val's connection because she has that with Jason. 

JAIL: 

The warden is VERY concerned about Curtis and being in gen pop. He might get hurt and might not get parole in 2 years. WHY DOES HE CARE. Says Curtis has a clean record-- people might take advantage of his money thru Aurora? Then Says he's going to be in "special housing' with another high profile prisoner (I'm assuming Sidwell) to protect him.

Another warm summer day!! Feels like August is slipping away, doesn't it? I wonder how long the Metro Court Pool will last? 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Molly and ADA meet to go over some things at Molly's. ADA says Donna invited her to Sonny's for Dinner. Molly doesn't know it's a BBQ..and neither goes ADA. She won't want to be there around all those people. Leaves. Then CHASE comes over to talk about that damn accident again and ..yada yada. He wants to find out who was driving the other car. Thinks back to Brook telling him that she framed Willow. 

BBQ Day. People are there--and Ava comes in to drop off Avery's backpack (So far we haven't seen her) she makes a joke about 'it's not time for her to wear make up but she wants to" and SONNY says: You bought her that SKANK OF CLOTH TO WEAR!!!! Ava's like it's a dress!! THEN he says she's a CANCER IN AVERY'S LIFE!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAATH THE FK? OMG SO MEAN. He says she should leave, no one in the family likes her. This is STUPID AND IT'S just to drive the story with Drew. Liz arrives with Liz and Liz talks to him about his knee. Ric is jelly as usual. Rocco says he has to leave and feed the horses. (NOT) 
Liz Dante-- Liz gets ketchup off his face, Ric sees it but is cool about it. 

Drew and Scout talk at the pool. That girl is always swimming. Drew can't eat dinner with her. She's bummed. Ava comes in to talk to Drew. Bitches about Sonny yada  yada.  He wants to get the stuff back from Brennan by breaking into his hotel room and needs Ava to help distract him. (The evidence of money tampering ) 

Scout texted Rocco to come and meet her at the boathouse. She wants to crab about her father. Rocco is nice to her. Oh such chem testing. He's going to go find a corn hole game in the gate house.

Kai and Trina talk in her apartment. Trina freaks out and thinks Willow will blame Kai for the shooting. He says Alexis will protect them.

Alexis is still talking to Willow about her shooting Drew. She knows about the phone call and should have said something in January and Wills would be in jail. She says if anything happens to Kai/Tri she'll go public with everything she knows and it will destroy Willow. Willow cries about Drew manipulating her and then Michael with the having to move into the gate house. She cries. Says Alexis should know being a Cassadine what having powerful relatives can drive a person to. Alexis says it's been Willow's own choices that have been awful.

 RIP Tim Curry... I didn't mention Dolly yesterday. They were 2 of the greats. I mean-- Dolly fking Parton??????? ICON and just the most giving person ever.

Ric and Lulu-- hmmm.. kinda weird to have another scene with them. 

Dr O and her Schnapps. LOVE HER TOO. 

Jarly: Can we talk about something else. BUT I like Jason sticking up for Josslyn. 

This Anna story is insufferable but BUT-- FINOLA is killing it. It's HUGE drama for her and she's doing a great job. Such a good actress. Valentin in this role is good.

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Let's see how we do today, shall we? 

Michael goes to Sonny/Donna's BBQ. The kids aren't coming because it's WILLOW'S DAY. But we see Willow later and No kids to be found. Okay.. whatever. Sonny goes off on how much he hates Ava. :EYEROLL: 

Joss tells Carly she's taking the CEO Job for her Dad's sake. Carly thinks she lying about why.  Carly thinks the WSB is involved. Carly finally accepts the fact. They hug. Joss leaves 

Pool: Gio, Trina and Emma. Trina's on vocal rest after her session this morning. She does talk to say that she's writing a song about her Dad. Then Joss comes in and tells them she's running JJE. Emma can't believe that Joss could get out of the WSB and her Gram couldn't. 

Drew and Jordan meet about Aurora. She says don't even ASK her about her personal life. She's not discussing it. They talk about Michael. It's a NOTHING convo.

Felicia and Brennan. Felicia is not giving him any info on Anna. Nope. She says he's a bad person and leaves. He gets a text from Nina that she's coming to the restaurant.

Felicia goes to Carly and asks about Jack. Carly says she hates the WSB and he recruited Josslyn. They talk about how bad the WSB. 

Isaiah and Tristan. Tristan tells tells Isaiah he was in the WSB. 

Nina wants to go the Hamptons. Willow likes the idea but no way is Jack Brennan going. She plays the recording she has of him for Nina. Says if she goes down, so will he. Nina says that's too dangerous, delete it. Willow says NO WAY. Nina says YES. WILLOW SAYS NO! 

Nina talks with Jack, said he shouldn't have made Willow angry. He says Willow's a psycho and Nina should watch it. 

Kai tells Alexis that Willow is threatening him. He tells her he went to resign and Willow is trying to pin the shooting on HIM. Also he thinks she tried to kill Drew again. Kai is also afraid because Willow has her sights set on Trina too. Alexis says he has protection in telling her and she has notes from before. Stay clear of Willow is her advice.

Happy Birthday Karen! (Tuesday's Blog)

Happy Birthday to the WubQueen! I hope it is a great, relaxing and yet eventful day for you. To celebrate, I grabbed some photos of you through the years to reminisce. Everyone take a look…

Here is a young Karen with baby Alberta. She’s right at home in her very groovy Brady Bunch inspired '70s living room.

In her early 20s, she was ready to watch her very first episode of General Hospital. I hope the episode was nice and “wubsy”.

Ready to write her first blog. She was just a “WubPrincess” then. (notice the tiara?) Many of the bullet points back then still hold true today.

When you are subjected to one of Dave’s silly, nonsensical “filler” blogs, you can rest assured that Karen is probably at the salon getting her hair done. Wait… is that her favorite GH actor on the TV screen behind her?

Enjoying her retirement, Karen can often be seen afternoons in the park with her beloved Tillie. Here she is grabbing an iced tea and writing this week’s Sunday Surgery.

And finally…

A rarely seen photo of Karen on vacation in Port Charles. “Why am I the only person in this town wearing a coat in the dead of winter?” she asks. I hope she stopped by Bobbie’s for a BLT and a bowl of chili.

I'm here SO MUCH!! LOL I feel like I LIVE HERE!! I think I'm taking a day tomorrow-- so enjoy my witty comments today! 

TODAY: 

Val is meeting with Jason at The Pool. Jason isn't happy. Carly is watching. Jason is like: NOPE. Then Carly talks to him and Valentin tells him he DID do a good job before. Makes some arguments. yada yada. Anna shows up-- after being at Laura's (down below) all changed and must have used a time warp. Carly asks her about life in the WSB. Anna flashes back to the room and Faison's cigar. She startles and knocks a drink off the table. She flees...Jason goes to go after her but Val says he will. He runs after her. Carly tells Jason that's ok, Anna clearly needs him. 

Willow cancels a meeting and is relaxing. Tracey storms in to get some things straight with her. Tracey says stay away from Chase. She can throw her right out. They bicker. Willow says Tracey has no idea what she's capable of now. Tracey says Oh I do and you'd better follow the rules and stay away from Chase. Tracey leaves and Willow says that Michael won't have the upper hand for long. 

Laura meets with ADA and Anna. She's taking a leave of absence. Going to Ireland. The person taking over for her is EZRA BOYLE! ADA and Anna are not dealing with that well. Laura pleads her case. Anna has flashbacks in the middle of it all. Ezra comes in. They all talk. He makes some crack about taking Sonny down. No one laughs. The other ladies leave and Laura reads him the riot act for when she's gone. He promises to be good. 

Brennan gives Joss her assignment: STAY IN PC AND RUN YOUR DAD'S COMPANY! ahahahhaha She thinks her mother did it. Brennan's like THIS IS FROM THE TOP! I don't even know what it's about. This is bigger than the both of us LOL. They think Jax's company is being targeted and want to use her to get an inroad. She says she will do it but her father's company is clean. She leaves. Brennan gets a phone call and he yells in the phone "She MISSED THE MEETING"? (about Willow) 

Jack goes to Willow's and yells at her for not going to the meeting and breaking their deal. She says he has to get her info on Michael THEN she will do it. He says he's running the show, not her.

Hudson is at the Q boathouse and so are Brook and Phoebe. He keeps watching her. Says he's supposed to meet Joss there. They talk about Phoebe and that her mother died. Then Tracey comes out. Brook introduces Hudson. Tells Tracey he wants Josslyn to be CEO of JJE. Tracey says: I'd better raise the rent. haha

Tracey and Brook go into the boathouse. Tracey says she told Willow she'd better not make one false move or ELSE. 

Lucas is sweeping his apartment. Someone tries to get in. Then he opens the door and Joe falls on him. They argue about who signed the lease first. They figure out Lucas signed at the leasing office and Joe signed with Lucy.  Lucas decides that Joe can temp leave his stuff there. They have a beer.

Valentin catches up with Anna in the elevator and asks her what the hell is going on. 

Brennan talks about erasing the evidence tape and Willow got it all on a recording.

Sunday Surgery: Wine With No Pants

 

Sometimes you just have to lead with something light or you'll go crazy. Dante took his pants off and had on a pair of boy shorts so long, who could tell? Still... good to see something that at least felt like summer-fun. 

It's been another week of "building" the next stages of stories so again, we are faced with many things that are frustrating and clunky. 

I'm having cold pizza because Dante and Liz didn't eat all of theirs. Let's GO GO

Off to the Pokey

 

WELP----FINALLY Friday and I still am LIVING IN HOPE that something happens. Yesterday the Lulu/Carly/Val stuff was fun but that was about it. 

Jordan and Curtis WUB SCENE...long one. They end up going to Aurora and Curtis says goodbye to Michael. Jordan sobs, she can't say goodbye. Curtis says "then don't"..kiss..leaves. Jordan and Michael talk. 

Trina watched Desmond last night, Portia asks her to watch him again while she goes out. Doesn't want to run into Curtis when he drops by to say goodbye. Another goodbye to cute Desmond. Trina is bringing him to visit when she goes to Pentonville. He leaves. Cries on the porch. 

Laura gives Rocco her key to water her plants while she's in Ireland. Rocco wants to tell her about Drew being mean about him hangin' with Scout. Laura says it's ok unless he expressly forbids it and then steer clear of him, he's vindictive. Then Lulu comes in (Rocco left) they eat lunch. Laura says tis' been 6 months with Kevin gone, she misses her family. She talks about her marriages and says Lulu can find love again. Lulu feels like she was violated by Nathan/Cassius.

Meanwhile, Scout texted Danny to meet her in the boathouse. He asks if Drew knows. She's like NO--and he's not happy. He says wow, he's keeping your prisoner. She's like Don't TALK ABOUT MY DAD LIKE THAT. Flounces off. GEESH. They apologize because these are the sweetest kids ever and there's no edge to be had but whatever. Scout jumps in the lake to swim. Charlotte walks up. They try to figure out Drew's weaknesses. Danny says he can't keep it in his pants. Talks about everyone he's slept with and the drugs/hooker stuff. Charlotte says we can make something up like that! ROCCO steps out of the bushes and is like: YOU'D FRAME DREW? ugh, shut up kid. He says kill Drew with kindness-then Charlotte agrees with him. But when Rocco leaves she says she was just lying to him. heh

Drew sits down with Ava at the pool (again, different day). Ava's like you'd better go--I'm meeting someone that doesn't like you. He says hey! I want to apologize to her! Ava is like wow! Really? then he says he wants to concentrate on bringing Sonny down--with her. Then Portia shows up. He apologizes. She is like let's just stay away from each other. He leaves. Ava and Portia talk about Sonny and the Avery troubles. She understands. Wants Ava to watch out for Trina. Of course she will. 

Sonny's in Pentonville to bug Sidwell. Wants to work out a deal. They talk about Sonny and Sid thinks he's going to have him killed in jail. Sonny tells him he's going legit. Sidwell laughs too hard. 

Drew, Michael and Jordan talk about Aurora. I so don't care, I didn't listen very much.

WELL--- HERE WE GO. It's Thursday and who knows what to expect today. Certainly not a lot has transpired so far this week!  

TODAY'S SHOW:  STILL THE SAME DAY but evening now. I think this day has gone on for a month. 

Ric is mad that Dante and Liz are on the couch. Liz tells him to calm down. She says Dante is staying and Ric can stay if he wants too. He's like NOPE I'm out.  Pouts and leaves.  Dante ordered pizza. They talk about Ric's insecurities. Dante wants Liz to unload on him because she listened to him all that time. They get more wine and settle in.

Isaiah and Portia are alone at the cabin. She's missed him. They kiss. They talk about stuff.  He says he's going to drop the civil suit and that might help him get out fast. Portia thinks that's so noble. They kiss. She's cleared to have zex so they do. 

Carly and Val are making dinner. Lulu stomps in looking for Charlotte. She tracked her phone to the lake. AT NIGHT! Val says YEP, I know, I let her go. Lulu freaks out. Carly's saying that Jason let her and Danny take the boat out. IT'SNIGHTTIME! Lulu yells. So I guess it's like 8:30pm? OMG Carly tells her to get a life AHHAHA. THEN Val tells her she needs to be dating and not tracking their daughter--THEN Carly says "Try Pickleball"!! woot. Lulu's mad, leaves. Carly and Val eat. She says she should take her own advice when it comes to Joss. 

Britt and Jason kiss at the boathouse and Joss asks if he knows who he's kissing. She says welcome back (I guess they haven't seen each other)? He says: you got shot? She says thanks to BRITT. Tells Jason that Britt turned her into Cassius and he kidnapped her--could have killed her. Britt tries to defend her actions. Jason said they all made choices. Joss says they did but Britt did it on purpose to save herself. GOOD LUCK with that..and she leaves. Britt tells Jason it wasn't her intent to hurt Joss but she had to protect her brother. Jason asks why she didn't tell him. She says she didn't think she needed to--she was going to die. She wonders if she went to far and if he'll forgive her.

Anna's at the pool. Tristan orders her a drink. I do not care. He tells her he's ex-WSB and she's a legend. Says he's working at GH. She knows he was a field agent. How? He only told her what he wanted her to know. He talks about WSB not being honest. Stupid convo. Joss comes in to meet with Anna and she meets Tristan too. Anna says they are/were all WSB. Tristan says WOW, you're the one at Spoon Island! What a superstar! wow.

Ric and Lulu meet about Dante/Liz. She's not worried. He is. They MUST STOP THEM!

Alexis  talks to Curtis after their AA meeting. She says not to be bitter in jail or it will destroy him. Also: Tip: there are drugs available in prison. Good talk with them. She tells him to go to AA meeting in there and volunteer and think of his family. They hug.

WHOOT! WEDNESDAY!! 

Donna and Sonny are planning the BBQ for the fam. She wants to invite the "ADA lady" AHAHAHA she's been reading my posts. Ric comes in. Uncle Ric is invited too. He has a personal emergency he has to talk to Sonny about. Oh he's going to propose to Liz tonight. Shows him the ring.  Sonny thinks it's fast... wonders if Ric is rushing. "Is there another guy"? Ric wants to show his love. Sonny says that his "love" went to obsession in the past. He says he's changed. Then he says how much Liz means to him and yada yada. Sonny and he hug. Then he leaves. 

Liz and Dante are at the baseball park. She needs help with a bookcase. He says SURE. He will be over after the game. Oh, Ric wants to propose tonight. Ut OH. WELP! Tonight is 2 scenes away. He hurt his knee. She says he doesn't need to help her. He says YES! I can do it! He does (off camera) and then is hurting and sitting on the couch. Oh his knee is swelling and he has to TAKE OFF HIS PANTS so Liz can see it better. PFFFFFFFFFFFFT. 

Curtis is still saying goodbye to Dez. Jordan looks on. Michael wants them to stop by to talk about Aurora. Curtis wants Jordan to stay while he talks about the job. Talk about expansion that Curt didn't finish. Then Michael says he needs a new CEO and Curtis recommends--JORDAN. Michael says: Great idea! She agrees to do it.

Gio and Trina meet with Simon (so was he the stalker camera or Quinn?) and he wants to have them be a couple. Emma is not happy. She didn't know about it. Simon is pushing it and saying they don't have to date, just let the fans think they are. Trina says hey- are we supposed to keep our relationships a secret then? He says yes. Gio says that's not happening. Then Kai comes in to talk to Trina. They leave. Simon tells Gio Trina is the REAL star and he's just a musician so he'd better go along with the plan.

Kai comes to Willow's to give her his resignation. She's like I didn't shoot Drew. He says: YEP YA DID. And I could still go to the police about it. They argue. She says maybe the police will blame him. His DNA is all over the place and she knows Trina was there too! Kai's like: you're a BAD LADY! She kinda threatens him. He yells, leaves.

Nina's at the pool Drew walks up. Tells her he hasn't forgotten what happened at the lake. Drew leaves. Brennan sits down. She wants more dirt on Michael, mainly Jacinda drugged Willow. He says stay out of it. Not your job. Then she sees Ava and Drew together. She'll talk to her later. Brennan says she's enabling Willow and won't help her. Then Willow texts Nina. 

Nina goes to Willow's. She's all pouty about things and Kai and life. 

Drew and Ava meet. Ava's like: ut oh, if Nina sees us she's not gonna be happy. He Says Nina did way worse to him then he did to her. Then he tells her Jason quit Sonny and he's vulnerable. He wants to bid on Sidwell's business interests, just like Valentin is. Ava can't wait to help him. Brennan comes over and tells Nina not to hang with Drew, he was mean to Alexis and Nina both.

PLEASE let today be better than yesterday--PLEASE. I'm begging!! If not, I'm bailing 1/2 way, I swear! LOL I have a picnic to set up for later and I need a nap. 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Anna's at Sonny's talking about Sonny quitting the business. Then they talk about Gio and Emma. Anna says he was great to her when she was gone. Also talks about her family getting hurt because of her actions. Sonny asks if she's ok. She says no, she's feeling caged up and wants to build a retreat. Knows he has land. Can he sell her some? THAT'S WHERE SHE'LL KEEP BRITT. DUH. Sonny talks to her about therapy, she should be in it. He's in therapy and needs it. People like them tend to do things alone and they need help. 

Trina and Gio are at the Shake Shack and Trina didn't do her music stuff because her dad's going to jail. He tells her to write her sad song and he will handle Simon. Then Emma and QUINN come in together. They work at the animal shelter and he came with her to pick up some take out. Trina invites him to sit down. They talk about the Cat's Eye Lounge Gig. Quinn wonders about Trina's art career. She says good memory. 

Lucas tells Ava he's moving out. They are at the pool. She's kinda sad. Hopes Lucy didn't rush him. He said Liz helped him find it.  He said it's time to get back out into the world. He has the keys and is going to take her there.

Joe and Lucy. She says sign lease quickly! He asks her about her statement regarding Willow Cain. She says Drew is probably lying to gain favor with Curtis. She knows what she saw. Joe isn't so sure. BUT he signs for the apartment. It doesn't go thru but Lucy says it's her exclusive listing so must be the wifi. She leaves and Joe measures for curtains.

Britt is in the park. She sees Jason in a ELQ jersey. Wonders why. He says he quit Corinthos' Coffee. He tells her about being out of the business. Then it's time to play ball! Nope, just a meeting. Then they come back and talk MORE about Jason leaving the business. She wonders if he really could if Sonny needed help.  She's like "not sure you can really quit that" . Then she mentions Anna helping her clear Cassius name. BUT don't say ANYTHING-- It's a secret.

Joss and Hudson are at the boathouse. He's waiting for Michael to look over the list. Then Brook/Chase and they baby comes. Joss mentions the adoption going through. Hudson gets a look on his face like: DOH!! Brook says she's 5 and 1/2 months old. He gets another look.  Joss and Hudson leave. Brook and Chase talk about--WILLOW. I know, you're so surprised. 

Joss and Hudson are in her apartment. She tells the story about Phoebe's birth and mother's death. He's suspicious. Joss also tells him that the father signed off on a closed adoption.

Monday, Monday... and I'm hoping GH is good today. Sitting here with Tillie can be a long hour if it's not exciting!!!! 

TODAY'S SHOW: 

Chase is shirtless, running around the Q property and sees Willow moving in. She tells him about Michael breaking up with Jacinda and asking her back to the Qs so the family can be close. Chase thinks she's so selfless ahahahaha. Yuri moves more boxes in. Chase keeps yappin. Willow says they are both outsiders so they will have to watch each other's backs. Chase now helps her take boxes inside. She tells Yuri to go back to the house. Chase is going to help her. :EYEROLL: 

Tracey tells Brook Willow is in the gatehouse. Brook freaks out. Wants Michael there to yell at him and get her out. Tracey says no, it's done, she's moved in. Plus they can keep an eye on her there. Brook is afraid Willow will invent 1000 reasons for Chase to visit her. Tracey says to have faith in her marriage. Brook is scared. 

Lucas and Joe banter at the nurses' station about the softball game. You know, chem testing. Lucas got an apartment. Lucy is going to show Joe one this afternoon.

Joe calls and wants to meet Lucy at the apartment. He can e-sign the lease. Oh it's so going to be the same one Lucas has. You wait. 

Serena and Lucy at the pool. Lucy tells her that Michael is single. She wants a romance. Serena thinks they should try another tactic to get Michael's shares. She doesn't have a plan--yet. 

Joss meets Michael at the boathouse, wants help with the situation she's in because of her father. Michael says it's a set up but nothing he can do about it.  She's mad Willow moved in. He wants her to be nice and welcoming. She's like no way. He says he'll help her find someone to run JJE if she does. They agree to help each other. Then Hudson comes over and gives Michael (Joss' consultant) the list of people he has. Michael leaves. Joss wonders why he didn't put himself on that list. 

Carly invites Hudson over for coffee. Wants to know how he's going to get Joss to take the CEO job. He says there's a list of people to take over. Carly tells him to burn it. He's like Can't do that, you're not my boss. THEN LUCAS WALKS in-- from a TIME PORTAL ahahahahaha. OMG. That was hysterical. He was literally at the hospital 2 seconds ago. She tells Hudson where Joss is living and he leaves. Lucas gets the lowdown on the whole JJE/Jax thing from Carly.  Lucas tells her Joss will do the exact opposite that she wants so she should stop pushing.
