As often happens with GH when things come to a head, the writing gets better and the scenes tighter and more complex. This week ended with a fairly nice Halloween episode that was filled with severed limbs, threats and a stalker reveal.

SEXIS: Alexis got a bunch of scenes with people dropping over to her office to chat, one of whom was Sonny. (he's always more tolerable when he's around her). Sonny was nervous she believed the worst in him and although she probably does, Alexis skillfully says if they are to remain civil, she's not even thinking about his innocence or guilt. Just a good set of scenes.
LOVE ISLAND: I can't remember where ChaLyn flew off to (Dominican Republic??) but they got a divorce. They were upset with the lawyers trying to tear the other apart so off they went in a jet to end things civil-like. We got a bit of a fake out with the whole "I don't want to do this" but that was short lived. Chase sat crying on the beach like Eric from The Little Mermaid while Brook stared out the window of the plane. Flashbacks galore. Maybe more than anyone else I remember on the show! Let us HOPE this is the end of their endless circles of "Trust" discussions.
JUDY JUDY JUDY: Welp. Jude walked into the Q's house, announced he was Jerry's son and Phoebe was his. As mouths were opened in shock, he explained that he wanted a baby and his friend Delilah said she'd carry. Went to a clinic (and I'm assuming had his sperm put in her--or we are in for another 'who's the mama' drama) and voilà! He says he can prove it. Alexis says that Brook and Chase have to give consent for Phoebe's DNA. Hmmm... OH! By the way... Joss did know that Jerry had a son because her father told her to stay the hell away from him if he ever came near her. So, there's that. Also note: Ava knows Ethan isn't Phoebe's real bio-dad...can she use it for some cash?
KISSING COUSINS: Danny said what we've all said: Kinda gross to be making out with what is practically your step-sibling. Remember Greg and Marsha? THEY never kissed!! Then came the shouting.. almost fighting. Yada yada. Will Danny tell Drew? We shall see!
SHRINKING: For some of us, these were just exquisite scenes that were done really well. I know we are tired of weepy-Anna but she has suffered major traumas throughout her life and even a strong woman needs a gut-check now and again. Delving into their shared past, Val helped her with realizing things weren't her fault. Feeling badly about her use of him during their WSB days, she apologizes. Faison is a whole other ball of wax and it points to how the young think they are just invincible and without long term consequences. I thought JPS and FH just shined in these scenes. I think that might be it for the therapy however and that's a shame. (PS. Doc Nichols sure looks more like Jordan than Monet does!)
BRENNAN'S BONES: Carly and Valentin lean heavily on the solving of disappearing Brennan especially when Carly sees footage of Charlotte and Danny at The Metro that night. In a strange teleportation, they are both at the Q house (by themselves) when Danny gets home. The kid ends up spilling the entire story of how they found Brennan dead in the pool. Then we finally have our hero Outback bring in a finger and Jack finally gets found in the preserve. Carly actually trips and falls right on him. Better check for ticks!!! Will they cover up the cover up? Danny also told them that they saw Ava and Drew that night. Can she tell the cops that without implicating the kids? Could just pay one of the security people to say they saw them, right?
AVA'S MESS: I said Alexis had a lot of visitors and Ava was one of them. She told Alexis the story about drugging Brennan but left out all the bits with the moving of the body. Can she get immunity if she throws Drew under the bus? Alexis will try to find that out. I sure hope so because I can't deal with her going to jail.
NINA'S BLESS: Meanwhile, looks like Nina is getting out of Steinmaur and back into PC circulation because Baines says the WSB "rushed to judgement". I have to keep reminding myself that the WSB can do whatever it wants and doesn't need the usual court channels. Also rememer that Willow still has her mama's prints on a syringe!
Baines did bring her a croissant and juice by the way.
CUPCAKE WARS: How this went down totally depends on if you like Dante and Liz together. Some people loved it, others thought it was too cutsie and a waste of time. It involved making and frosting cupcakes, talking about the boys and then Dante brushing off frosting from Liz' cheek. I didn't mind it. Lucas came over just in time to dish about the whole situation. He's always at the ready with wine and an ear. At least Elizabeth is getting some airtime with 2 guys interested in her! Of course, all of her sons have left so... sad horn.
DULL DECEPTION: I only mention this because it was the "miss" of the week for SURE. No one cares about this anymore. All of the drama has just gone south. Is it even worth saving? Also see: They brought Serena back FOR THIS? WHY? The whole Sidwell mineral mining should have been used but it wasn't. Too bad they didn't have a beauty influencer TikTok person that turned out to be on Only Fans as well. I mean--anything but this.
ROSES ARE RED: Violets are Blue, hey lady--who's stalking YOU? Oh GH--why why WHY did you leak that Alley Mills was coming back? WHY?? It totally ruined what should have been a good surprise. I actually avoid spoilers but that news was all over the place. Ergo, not surprised when she showed up. It seems her hip settlement made her wealthy and here she is, just causing trouble all over again. I wish Esme was with her.
NEWS: GH Won Best Daytime Drama, Casting, and Writing. Jeff Kober took home Outstanding Guest Performer and Genie won a lifetime achievement award.
NEW PHOEBE: My little pie Phoebe seems to have been replaced by this pumpkin who has a full head of hair!!

That's a wrap! Good Halloween show for sure. Had all the spooky drama I could ask for. It is a bit weird not to see all the kids parading around like they did in years past. Remember we'd be treated to Disney costumes for a day? It is Maxie's birthday too but that's been forgotten for awhile now and anyway, she's in Australia. I'm reserving judgment on Jude because at least he has an intriguing story and is a Jacks. I'm still not digging Tristan or Hudson. Joe's slowly growing on me but is still pretty bland. Serena has no point and for some reason, her eyelashes make me angry! Ha. I loved NLG with all her partners this week because she does good work. The Lulu Lawsuit is going to drag I fear and maybe NOW with Brennan being dug up we can move forward with all that. What's the Heather Factor? I think AM is taping her other show as well so I have no clue. Also, while I'm at it, I DO like Trina's song but stop having her sing it EVERY dang time.
Suggestions: Have Gio order a Garbage Plate when they are in Rochester at The Cat's Eye and also, have SOMEONE say "Go Bills" just once.

Have a GOOD ONE! I'm out Wed and Friday. One is a lunch with a friend in Syracuse and the other is my Dad's 90th birthday!! So, don't get too mad at me!!
