Miss Rylan will be making the move to GH to play Lulu Spencer, a role that Julie Marie Berman is leaving. No word on a start date yet. Anyone watch Y&R? I don't so I don't know a thing about her acting!!

Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...
no WAY!! She just got back to Y and R. I've only seen her on Y and R when they aged the character of Abby from 14 to early 20s. Marcy Rylan is older than that and plays younger.

ReplyDeleteWhen she first got axed on Y and R, I thought Jen Lilley could play Abby. Maybe that could happen.
I know the DC folks rave about her so there's some promise there. Can't be any worse than the options I've had floating around in my head.
ReplyDeleteAny ideas on first air date? Considering Lulu seemed poise to begin a front burning storyline (besides the pregnancy), it's going to be an abrupt transition, isn't it?
Her first airdate I would THINK would be in like 4 weeks, based on JMB last tweet. But longer if it takes her awhile to get over?

ReplyDeleteWell, I had hoped they would somehow give it to Erin Hershey...I remember her early Amanda Barrington years - she can play quite the biatch, like our Lulu.
ReplyDeleteI kind of wondered about Erin, too. She was beautiful and seemed right in her last scenes with Rafe. But maybe that would be jarring since she just was on as Allison. I also thought of Jen Lilly, but she doesn't seem the right match with Genie. Julie was absolutely perfect casting so getting used to anyone new will be hard for a while....
ReplyDeleteI am sad to see JMB leave, but I think this new actress is a good choice appearance wise. She is very pretty and petite, and I also know she was popular on Y&R. I hope she makes a good addition to the canvas. I know I am open to accepting her. I also wish Ms Berman success in her future endeavors.
