Good God almighty, this scene was already great but the cut stuff makes it even better. Both actresses at the top of their game, especially Fin! And yeah, Anna certainly has a dark side and she is willing to go there on occasion. LOVE IT

ReplyDeleteOver the last number of years many people (myself included) had complained that there was too much violence on GH.
ReplyDeleteJust because Anna is Police Commissioner does not put her beyond the law. Yes, she was reacting out of love and concern for her family...just as Sonny and Jason often did.
NO I am not defending Sonny or Jason - I'd be happy if they both left the show forever and I love the character of Anna BUT to now accept behaviour from Anna that we would have criticized Sonny and Jason for would be hypocritical.
I must be in the minority here but I am glad it was cut.
P.S. I do however agree that it was steller acting!

ReplyDeleteWe've seen Jason and Sonny leave filled body bags. Anna was bluffing. That's what's called doing a good cop/bad cop routine. As Commish she simply left out the good cop.
It's not difficult to believe. Bad, bad choice by ABC.
Great scene - too bad it was cut. And of course Anna "Divine" was bluffing. Thanks for posting this!

The missing stuff was excellent! I didn't know Anna was that bad ass either as I started watching 4 years ago. Yes it was violent but some of the only violence I've seen from Anna so I'm OK with that PLUS it's a soap opera, not real life...Great stuff
