I was visiting friends for "just a minute" ..that turned into a scotch then the Jazz Festival. LOL I had a blast but missed the show.
SOOOOOO, what happened!? Was it good? It's on my DVR but should I watch it?

Friday's show has the most over-the-top scene, in my opinion, since Franco stabbed Heather under Nic's house. Plus the second day in a row of no Sonny. And the intro of a new, probably short term, character named Mickey Diamond (!) who in just 2 or 3 scenes is already more fun than Levi. So my vote is to watch. With a buzz.
Friday's show was a snore fest for me

- Silas and Nina angst (don't care)
- Nina rises (this character is my least favorite ever, even worse than Courtney)
- Levi (another newbie I don't care about)
- Julian and Jordan (the only newbie I actually like but she was being so forceful it was an insult Julian did not catch on to her)
- some New newbie who is Luke's henchman (enough newbies already - please kill off anyone who enter the show over the past two years)
- Molly and TJ (I am not interested in watching teenage dating)
- Lulu and Dante (repeat conversation, rinse, repeat. I dont see her as a mother, wife or a Spencer)
- the only good scenes today were Alexis and Anna, and Alexis and Julian. alexis is finally getting a clue
Why aren't Felicia and Mac at the courthouse with Maxie? Why aren't former Police Commissioner Mac or current Police Commissioner Anna or respected Doctor Patrick acting as character witnesses for her instead of two newbies who hardly know her?
I also believe they are going to try and set up a Nina - Silas - Sam - Patrick love quadangle. Patrick will be brought into it through Sam investigating who ran him off the road, him supporting her when it looks like it was Rafe, Rage's drug use, etc. And I bet it is only a matter of time before Patrick becomes Nina's Doctor.

ReplyDeleteMy first prediction here: It will turn out that Nina was NEVER in a coma. It was something she and Madelaine cooked up to punish Caleb (only it didn't work -- he was never charged) for trying to kill her. If there was a baby, it is alive and crazy and waiting to follow in Mama's footsteps. That 5 second scene of Nina waking up was a ruse, a red herring, a joke, not true. (Remember, neither Caleb nor Nathan was ever allowed to see Nina when she was supposed to be comatose.)
HELL YEAH IT'S FANTASTIC!!!! Nina's true colors came out and she turned into Kimberly from Melrose place!!!!! And you gotta meet Micky Diamond! He is so much fun! :)

I too am sick of seeing new characters all the time. It drives me crazy that everyone is stupid.. Michael is at first suspicious but then buys tracy's lies. She's so stupid she still hasn't noticed her husband isn't Luke. Nobody's noticed Rafe has turned into a cokehead. Nina is playing Silas who's oblivious. Maxie can't figure out that Levi told the judge that she and Nathan lied. And on and on endlessly.
frisco, I was thinking this week (since Nina was shoved down out throats every day) about the worst characters ever and thought , of course, of Courtney and also, Alexis' sister Kristina. I know she was not as universally despised as Courtney but I just could not stand her.
For those of you who watched OLTL: did this head writer ever create any worthwhile characters or were they all this bad?

Sonya - when Julian was telling Alexis he had to go out of town fora few days she had a suspecting look on her face and she said. Something to the effect of "because you are the boss." I read it to mean Anna had planted the seed of doubt and Alexis has started doubting Jules

ReplyDeleteAlso, I LIKED Courtney, I guess I'm in a minority of one. I HATE Nina, though, and also think maybe she never was in a coma--obviously she has rage against Si, since he cheated on her w/Ava Jerome. And, like Karen said, it is rumored that her child is alive, so maybe Nina just "disappeared" and left the country to raise her child to get revenge.
All good but, explain the scene if Nina waking up saying Silas? Dream? She's nuts alright! And I could not stand Courtney. Jury is still out on Nina for me. I'm ticked off on how Alexis and Tracey have been made dumber than dirt. I didn't get the impression that Alexis has doubts.
