    please explain to me why GH was pre-empted. Inauguration coverage ended at noon PT. We on the West Coast will be shown TWO episodes of The Chew. Do they really think anyone will watch? I would rather watch re-runs of Perry Mason.

    I think they pre-empted it so we could watch a few hours of people debating about his speech and re-hashing everything he said . Like you say it was definitely over before 3.

    Lucy Webb Hayes's dress looks malformed. I wonder if she was pregnant or if that was just one crazy bustle. I really like Lou Henry Hoover's dress. It is very casual compared to a lot of the others. Lady Bird Johnson's dress looked like a coat.

    Michelle looked wonderful in that checked fitted coat. It fit perfectly and was really flattering. I liked the length, too. Wish we could go back to that length for clothes--so much better on the majority of women than the mini which barely covers.

    Were those red leather gloves she wore with the navy coat? So chic.

    I don't think this has been mentioned, but the actress who plays Alice the qs maid, appeared briefly on the(underrated) show, Raising Hope, as a...body waxer. Only had one line, which was in swedish(?).Yes, I know it sound odd and dreamt up, but she appeared on the show.

    No I don't think it was mentioned. And yeah I saw her on the show!!! I was surprised seeing her! I love Raising hope. :)
