AMC, OLTL One Step Closer to Airing!
Daytime Confidential has Agnes Nixon's FB declaration on their page. She basically says it's a "go" and she's thrilled.
Now, does this mean the soaps will look exactly the same? I don't think so, but it is a start. They will probably be online with a back end TV deal in the future--but no one knows for sure.
I personally am waiting for them to actually start taping before I dance in the aisles. Call me a cynic but there you go.
So, what say you Wubbers?? Will you watch? What if they are only online?? It will be interesting.

Let me know when Vicki signs
ReplyDeleteDebK is likely right- it seems like it will be the B-League versions of the shows. Lucci has moved on and Canary, too. Maybe Tad and Dixie return, but Angie and Jesse won't. They have gigs.
ReplyDeleteOLTL is likely gonna be worse hit.
Are Ron and Frank going back to OLTL too? What about Todd, McBain and Starr?

Hahaha! I will start dancing and getting excited, when it's actually online. :)
Ron & Frank have worked too hard to leave gh now IMO
ReplyDeleteI'd watch out of curiosity, even completely online. It'll be interesting because I always felt (unlike a lot of people) that PP had good intentions but they had no idea what they were getting into. Even now not sure how they're going to do this, is it going to be free with ads? Or is it going to be a subscription based download like on iTunes?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm taking a wait and see attitude. It could still all fall apart before it actually airs anywhere.
This is no doubt good news for AMC and OLTL fans but, call me selfish when I say I sure hope GH keeps John, Todd, Ron, Frank and yes even Starr :)
