That's right.. I guess Patrick couldn't deal with Frank and has left GH. Chris Van Etten is stepping back in as co-head writer!! What does this mean?? Well, I wish Patrick and Chris were the two staying but I also think Patrick was like: I'm OUTTA HERE.

ReplyDeleteany thoughts that the fans have been SO angry with Ava/Sonny meds and the whole stupid Pikeman story that Frank decided to listen to the fans? For a few weeks it was good and now GH is just a mess.

ReplyDeleteNew material won't air until Mid Summer. Johnathan Jay York just returned, so the Mac and Cody paternity storyline will now be written by Korte and Van Etten.
ReplyDeleteI wondered if Van Etten's repromotion (he didn't actually leave the show), may have to do with the weird story pacing. Like how Drew and Nina were bickering for days on end, while Jason didn't interact with Spinelli and Drew(?) until WEDNESDAY (two months+ after Jason returned to town).
Honestly, maybe it's Frank Valentini that needs to leave. He has been the showrunner since 2012. That's a long time.
