No Bother

Image

Yeah I just realized I didn't post today--sorry. GH was...a fairly recent episode "classic" about Ava and I just didn't care.

The last week has been a disappointment of pointless flashbacks and just plain non-movement. I understand we have to do something to stretch out the end of the shows we have left but damn, it's hard.

Hope you had a good one. Life is getting smaller by the day, I swear.  See you for a very short-short Sunday Surgery.

ROFL! Okay so today's episode is the Ava centric episode from January 17. 2018. I will copy and paste what I said then.

"I was so bored.. It was great seeing Brian Craig, and loved the flashbacks, and the acting was fantastic, and the ending was awesome, but the rest, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Kiwi should not have been in the surgery!! ROFL! Oh and look fake Connie! ROFL!"

Hmmm I don't have the who won the line of the day. I must have been so bored back then that I forgot. ROFL! Okay here it is. Carly wins the line of the day.

Carly: I'm sorry we don't let sociopaths take us to a second location.

    ROFL!

  2. So I looked up what next Friday episode is, and it's the Sonny centric episode. His dream.. November 12, 2018. Unless they decide to show something else. I don't know.

  3. Why can't they put on old flashbacks? Because they'd have to work a little and dig around?????

  4. I agree with you Karen, about the flashbacks all week being tiresome. The show barely moved on this past week. I do understand why they are doing it, and am grateful for their effort, but I cannot wait for my show to be back to normal. That goes for all the shows I watch in primetime too. I should be ashamed of myself for complaining since there are so many people suffering with issues a heck of a lot more important than their soap being messed with, but.....

  5. Is it possible they are only showing fairly recent shows on Friday so that they don’t have to pay a bunch of actors who are long gone rather than the fairly current cast? I’m losing interest, too.

    1. But the Ava centric episode, they showed people who are no longer there. Like for example, Griffin and Kiwi.

    2. Yeah, but the classic ones we crave have mostly departed cast members except for maybe Anna, Robert, Monica and Scotty.

Hmmm true, but I don't know. Well not all is lost! We can still watch episodes from back in the day online!!! I was watching them last night. Felt so good!! :)

  6. What would be way better, aside from seeing some vintage episodes, would be Nurses Balls. They could stretch them to two Fridays. WE all could use a little frivolous fun and entertainment. Not stress and mental illness. There's enough of that in our real lives right now.
Yes, life is getting smaller. Good observation.

  7. Oh ya zazu. Nurse's balls would be great. Even some of the older ones that were REALLY good. Some of the very first balls were really exciting.

  8. I may be having a false memory, but wasn't there one of the first balls where Robin passed out or something and Jason carried her out???

    1. Never mind. This one is too sad for what is going on right now

  9. It just seems like such a great time to replay real classics. Like Luke and Laura’s wedding, the ice princess, when the Qs lost their money and lived at Kelly’s etc

    1. I agree. Replay the classic episodes. Keep people interested

    2. I haven't watched either rerun that's been on but I will watch yesterday's because I love to watch MW. But I'm not really interested. The past few years were not the best.
How hard could it be to make the fans happy.

Sunday Surgery: Rude Awakening

Such a frustrating week for me!! GH can be so good, then so uneven and just plain plodding along that it baffles the mind. I felt like Thu...
