WELP..Happy St. Paddy's Day

Paddy with Alberta!

I went to the pub, got home and 2:30 thinking I could watch the rest of GH and who's on? UGH. I'm not happy--way to ruin my buzz.

So-- I guess?
Did any of it air?

It's back on at 2:45 maybe if the news doesn't break it down. Oh, Olivia F is on with Alexis. I wonder what Jules said in the letter.

Ava wants the bottle from Lucy so no one will ever know she switched meds. 6 months ago.

OJ and Anna summarizing. OJ knows a secret about Anna. She won't tell her though.

Carly goes to Sonny's to find out what's going on between them.

Karen: here is a link to an interview I did a few days back with Brian Patrick Clarke, who played Grant Putnam on GH in the 80s.

  3. I suggest no one ever watch ABC Boston....lol They think they're a news station. First I saw a minute and a half of a repeat and as I went to turn stations it went to today's episode. I saw that for about 15 minutes then it switched to the all important breaking news with President Trump talking to Chancellor Merkel. I switched over to a Canadian station. When I went back to my ABC recording later to see if the preview was shown for next week I discovered that they actually ended up breaking into the Trump news conference to bring us some breaking local news about the death of a local fireman. I'm beginning to think that someone at that station gets a bonus every time they interrupt a show with "breaking news. "

I did see the whole thing on Global tv here.

  4. I thought NYC ABC was bad with the interrupting news . . . I got to watch the whole show!!

OK, so I am sick at home with a horrible cold, so maybe that is why, but I found today's episode really great. Alexis'x scenes with Olivia were great, she made me cry. Maybe I loved it so much because so many vets were on: if you start with Anna and Felicia, add Scottie, and throw in a Lucy mention, I am in heaven! I felt so sick, I just wanted the show to go on and on so I could stay lost in it and distracted.

It reminds me when my sister and I were young and the show was 1/2 hour, and we always used to say to each other that we wished each episode would be endless. I was overjoyed when they went to an hour!

  5. ABC aired an encore episode today I don't think it was a new episode for anyone. I am sick of ABC interrupting every time Trump says something. If people want to see his posing with other leaders they can watch on cspan or any of the cable news channels there is no need to break in every time he has a guest over.

** Ick, I'm getting rid of one, myself. I hope you get well soon! It really was a very good episode. I definitely agree with you that when more vets are on, it does make a difference. At least for those of us who've been watching for a long time. We have a stronger connection with them, than nearly all of the "new" people.

** A new episode aired here (MT), without any preemptions or announcements.

** For anyone that it might be a viable option, for a reliable source for being able to still watch each day's episode that same day, I highly recommend using Hulu. They do have the ability to watch stuff with or without commercials, btw (not to mention a lot of other great content). I've been using it for several years now, primarily as a back up source, and it's never let me down, yet.

  8. I ended up watching it on demand this morning. When I went to watch it I saw it was a repeat and then someone on twitter said it had changed to new, I figured I'd just wait. Ha Di, I so agree about ABC Boston, they break in if someone stubs a toe. Luckily I get ABC Providence here too so that's what I watch now

** Unfortunately, I only get NBC on demand. And even then, that's not in HDTV. :( Then if for some reason that the current day's ep of GH doesn't show up on Hulu either, my next place to check is ABC's website. If that fails also, my last resort is to try the ABC app on my iPad.

** Since it appears that those on the east coast have been having more preemption issues than others have for the past few days, I thought I might as well mention all of the alternative options I can think of, off the top of my head!
