ANOTHER giant OUCH week for GH...look at the loss from last YEAR! December can be tricky with the holidays, but usually ratings are a bit up due to college being out and nostalgia factor. a 100K drop from the previous week.

I am out of town for today/tomorrow. I'm going to see if Geddy will blog a bit, ok? Take care.
Underwear. Heh.

  1. Part of the problem in Dec. is the premptions and the repeat episodes. There's nothing to tune in for at this time of the year. There should be births, weddings, tree-trimming, family and warmth during the holiday season. It brings people together, especially when times are hard, it's nice to see your faves on the shows enjoying the season together and gives hope for the year to come. TPTB are missing the boat so miserably with the mob, threats, barey-there-connections... The Franco story has been so dull and a tune out for me-- I can't believe they hyped up such an awful story that is only directed at Jason. WTF cares?? Forget about Sonny and any type of romance. Been there and done that with so many others.... Change is needed and needed before time runs out for all the daytime shows.

  2. I can't bear to watch more than a few minutes at a time any more. *sob* What have they done to this show? The characters are there, but they are just not using them effectively. What a sad state this show is in. I am sick to DEATH of the mob storyline. Please move on, writers! Give us relationships that make sense and last. Give us families getting together. Stop making our beloved characters do things we know they would NEVER do (see Liz for example). Who do the writers think they're fooling? It's a slap in the face to those who have been watching the show for 10+ years.

  3. I felt so sorry for Johnny yesterday. He just found out how his sister died and that freaky Franco has done something with her body. Now he has to see Olivia freaking out because Sonny is flirting with Lisa. I can't believe the writers have already destroyed this wonderful couple. I don't think I'm the only one who is beyond sick of Sonny 'doing' every female on the canvas. TPTB keep repeating the same formula, hoping this one's the charm. Yuck!
