Valerie To "recurring"

I believe she will fade away...
Britni wrote this on Twitter last night. Thought it was a classy, gracious quote.

  1. I'm glad she got other opportunities. It must be hard for some of these actors to get by on the piddly amount of time they get on the show. I'm always happy to see them get more productive work.

I think she'll fade away too. Maybe Curtis can be rehired now, at least as a consultant.

  2. I liked the character but hated the story line of her and Dante. Then they never gave her anything else to do. She's a "SPENCER" for Pete's sake... They should have found her something more to do. Sometimes when I see these actors go on recurring status, or being let go, I wonder why they brought them on in the first place. Why inflate the cast if you aren't going to use them? Wasted money in my opinion. Or start advertising them as "guest stars" like they do on Prime Time shows. It's really disappointing when I see someone I like in the "Coming" section of the spoilers only to see them pop up for a day or two. If we knew they were just making cameo appearances it wouldn't be so disappointing.

  3. Another misused character/actress. Very gracious lady and I hope she does well. Can't blame Bradford Anderson for choosing Homeland over GH either with the pittling amount of time try gave him.

  4. Another case of I don't like the character, but have nothing against the actor. She had a hard role to play. She wasn't on much, but apparently now she has found a job where she can work more. Her message was very gracious, and it seems she is a very classy lady. Good luck to her!!

  6. I won't miss her character. She was doomed from the start as a byproduct of that horrible fluke storyline that went on forever. And if that wasn't bad enough they had to go hire the actress who play young Pat to be even worse Nelle. Let that episode and Storyline go General Hospital. But given the two – I would much rather have Valerie than Nelle!! I don't care who she is really to jail, if she gave Jocelyn a kidney, or anything else about her. It seems there are more and more people I hate On General Hospital. And not the good hate like when we used to love to hate Helena. I hardly recognize my show anymore

  7. She's a decent actress, and her tweet was quite nice. That said, the character had potential, but never really gelled. The whole triangle with Dante and Lulu, didn't help at all. I remember reading somewhere that Bobbie was supposed to take her under her wing, and look out for her, but that never happened. I think it would have helped. I also thought she and Curtis had a lot of potential, but breaking them up over him taking the pictures was just stupid. They were great when doing the scavenger hunt. It seems as if Jelly doesn't want any couple to be happy for an extended period of time. As soon as things start going well with any of them, something bad happens.
