Were "on" CBS this year. I didn't watch for reasons of my own. Who won? Young and the Restless for Daytime Drama, Tamara Braun for Supporting Actress, Jason Thompson for Actor, Heather Tom for Actress and GH got the direction Emmy.

The sheer fact that neither Maura West or Finola won Best Actress? Another reason I don't watch anymore. Jon Linstrom lost to Jason Thompson (which I hear was deserved I guess) and guest actor went to Eva LaRue

Yeah Jason deserved it. He is so great on Y&R!! But of course we already know how great of an actor he is! :)

I also didn't watch for reasons of my own, but do watch three of the four remaining soaps and am satisfied with the choice of winners. Hope it's true about GH resuming filming in July but have come to not trust those "educated guesses" so we shall see.

Considering the situation the show wasn't bad. I too think Maura West should have won but not Finola...she was gone a long time last year and sniffled and whined when on.
ReplyDeleteProbably not so but it seems that when CBS airs the Emmy's CBS shows win the most. I do hope that it continues to air on network TV although for the past several years they did a great job online. Carolyn Hennesey was fantastic on the Red Carpet.
Wow! So I just got home from work, watched yesterday GH and was going to watch the Emmys...oh but wait, I can't! I have to have Hulu Live TV! What a rip off!

ReplyDeleteI am kind of shocked that Tamara won, but good for her. I think that this is her third Emmy for three different roles on Daytime.
