So, ABC #Fails on the 4th of July!

All the other shows got fun 4th of July things...not US!! Not even a re-run of an old 4th picnic!! Boo. I watched Days a bit and LOVED IT.

Of course I watched the verdict-- I am stunned. Can't talk much right now. I am really upset. I think it was a HUGE miscarriage of justice. Just horrific. AND because she was found NOT guilty she can MAKE MONEY on this!! Bitch. She's going to have to move to Fiji .

I will be back FULL FORCE tomorrow with FULL ON SOAP talk! Just not today. Sniff.

Sunday Surgery: Digging Out The Old Files...

Yep.. we've seen the stuff and I'm getting a bit more happy. Loved Maxie and Sonny and then Jason. Hell, I love Maxie and anyone. Spinelli is driving me insane but I'll overlook it. At least Sonny's not just standing around looking all angst ridden. We pulled out the old ELQ file--- it looks dusty but has potential. I do like the new guy "Asher"-- because I can't stand to see Abby and Michael mooning alone in scenes together anymore. Michael is going to be the "Wonder BOY" at ELQ with no business training (and missing half of High School! LOL). Can't wait until Tracy shows up. 
That brings me to another topic. Jane Elliot. There was rumors she may be leaving the show but now with the Q's coming up-- and a Dillion recast probable, I think Tracy will be safe. YEAH!! The whole Jake thing will come out too, another file that's been forgotten. Monica will find out and then "Alan" will make an appearance as well. (I hear ghost-like, but still hey, not complaining)!!

Nikolas leaving. Yeah they had him talk to dead Emily. Yeah, he didn't take off with Aiden. Great scene with Lucky. BUT  BOO he didn't say goodbye to Alexis. BIG oversight there. HUGE!! Not saying goodbye to she or the girls was just a great chance missed. He is coming back in August for some new scenes-- we'll see if he remembers his Aunt then.   

Next up is the Josslyn custody fight-- which to me is more of the same. I hope it's over soon. I also hope we don't have another "meat hook" type incident with Jax leaving.  I hear we might have a scandal "Sonny Style" when he finds out Jax paid off the mediator. *sigh* GO SEE the SPOILERS. Guza had to have one last thing to do I guess. Supposedly Ingo will be back too to "close the story". Notice GW is having both Ingo and Tyler come back because their stories were cut off so abruptly by Mr. G.

According to sources,Marcil Giovinazzo's last airdate has been scheduled for Thursday, July 21, when Brenda says goodbye to her soon-to-be ex-Husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and all of Port Charles. But don't feel bad for Brenda! She'll depart Port Charles in a fashion similar to how she left back in 2003, but this time with some extra baggage and on a much happier note. Too bad the same can't be said for Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright).EXTRA BAGGAGE is a baby bump I hear.

NEW IDEA: LUCY is Spinelli's mother. Think about it..let it sit there. I was tweeting and got the brilliant idea. She did have Sigmund the duck. She was a librarian at first. Right age..it would be so fun!! Oh, let the new headwriter read the WUBS.  

SCENE o' the WEEK: Goes to...the Nik and Lucky goodbye..especially the part about the missing accent!

Friday... GH's Split Personality

This show is all over the place. You can so see the touches of new writing overlapping the old. Still the CarJax bickersons...but now with ELQ overtones. A sleezy 1970's inspired "brothel" complete with Lulu running around in skimpy stuff and then a stellar scene with JJ and TC. Ah, the winds o' change.

GENERAL HOSPITAL: 

OMG, hated the Jackal PI stuff today..enough already. We get it. Although seeing Sonny flambuxted was okay. heh "Freak of the Week"... hahahaa 
Maxie and Sonny were funny. She was like "oh, I styled Kristina..she looks great right??!" Whoops

CONNIE looked beautiful in her blue suit!! WOOT!! And that was JJ's kid today. Why does Nikolas leave as soon as she comes back?! WHY wouldn't Lucky just take AIDEN to get a test? He's a cop. Oy to the vey.

LULU running around in a stupid outfit. How do you "work" at a ho house without "working"?? How do you FAKE THAT? lol Ooooooooooo! Someone on twitter told me she's a waitress. It was the "clothes" that threw me off. LOL Do waitresses just 'waitress' in a brothel? Heh. "A girl like you shouldn't be in a place like this" says Lupe..wow, never HEARD THAT LINE before.

Morning! Just thought I'd cover some things while I'm sitting here and have time. Thanks for all the comments about yesterday's show. I did love the "Accent" discussion that Nik/Lucky had. You know they did that!! I am going to talk more about his exit tin Sunday Surgery--watch for it! 


More spoilers are up. I think Asher is going to be very jealous of Michael, who seems to know business thru osmosis and charms Edward. What Asher doesn't realize is that Edward would think the sun rises and sets on Michael even if he just sat like a toad at his desk all day. I'm waiting for Tracy to get in there and freak out when she sees Jr. in her seat!! hee hee.

There are a lot of rumors out there about comings/goings. Raven is insisting Tams Braun is back-- whether or not she's "Carly"?? Not sure. You know I said I heard Maurice is gone... and the TG rumor is gaining steam. With Helena back, maybe she finally kills him off. Or he kills her and then disappears. Point is: Recasts, comings/goings--all points to the end of GH. We can hope/pray/watch and wish those ratings up but I'm not sure it's going to be saved even WITH a miracle. I want to be Pollyanna but you know it's not in my nature. Yes, I'm waiting for Garin Wolf's stuff to hit more and more and am excited for the Q's. I hear Alan comes back as a ghost again-- not a real person. I'll take what I can get! Maybe it's when Monica hears the Jake news. 

 
Are you enjoying the Spin stuff? Jury is out here. I like the IDEA..but it seems just randomly inserted. Probably going to do a sequel to the book.
