I' m sure you've heard by now but Tyler (who won an Emmy for GH in 2016) has been snatched up by Days! Seems his contract dispute with GH was never solved and he's decided to go elsewhere. This ends my long standing hope of the Nickolas-Ava fun we could have had.
*sigh*
I wish him the best. He is and always will "The Prince" to me, but maybe it's time for him to spread his wings and explore new opportunities.

I am soooooo sad!! I LOVE Tyler, and seeing him with Spencer, Ava, Alexis, Lulu, Laura, et al, would have made me sooo happy!!

As much as this saddens and frustrates me, it doesn't surprise me all that much, really. From the way Tyler was talking about the way his contract negotiations went, in an interview with either SOD or SID, shortly after it had been confirmed he wouldn't be coming back to GH, unless TPTB did something fundamently different, or a regime change occurs, we won't see him on GH.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly though, I thought when Nick Stable came on for several weeks, he actually was decent in the role, and since the ONLY way we'll get Nik back, is a recast, I would be okay with it.

Good news for me. I started watching Days this past June and I'm so looking forward to seeing Tyler again. I've always liked him but you could tell he was so unhappy the last few months he was on.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Nick Stable when he was the recast and I'm holding out hope they'll bring him back as a permanent recast. They've been bringing up Nicholas so much this whole summer I think it's a real possibility . Maybe we can call him NickNick?
