Sunday Surgery: What's in the Box?

I got Seven vibes with the whole BOX situation!! On Friday, all of use were yelling; LOOK IN THE BOX! No! Over there!! THAT BOX!! lol. It was a middle of the road week for GH with some delightful scenes thrown in. 

The weather was so bad here, we only had 9 trick o treaters!! NINE! We usually get 60 or so!! You can all have some of my left over Kit-Kats and Gushers today!  Let's Give it a GO GO! 

I still think a 30 minute show would be a good idea. The problem is, it's boiled down to 27 on Hulu with no commercials. It flies by. Dialog makes more sense (usually) and there's not an endless wait for the next scene to start. Ergo, a 30 minute show would be like 17 min with all the ads that are fun. Ugh, just can't win. Watching live is a whole other thing!! 

DREW ON THE GROUND: Let us start with the highlight of the week! Jason finally did what we all wanted to do and that was: Kick that cane out from under him. BOOM! See ya on the floor! It was glorious. Better that it happened in front of Tracey and Lulu. Nice job, St. Jaysus. 

TAD AND VICKI: Yep, that's what I thought the entire time I was watching them. I also had the widest grin EVER on my face. SO good. They are both SUCH great 'soapy' drama actors that it all seemed effortless. That's talent. Anyway, I was right that Ronnie is really Monica's sister but wrong about being in the dark about The Will. She knew because Martin let her in on it all. She caved after Tracey was so nasty to her at the crypt. Unfortunately for Ronnie, she really likes most of the Qs and feels badly now. Also, the really unfortunate part is that Drew stepped in and wanted the house. Why Martin agreed to help is beyond me. I know he wanted Tracey to get payback but he also wasn't working 'with' Drew after the whole Stella thing. I get it--it's for the drama of it all but dang. I want Martin to be at least a half-way decent character. 

THAT BOX: We all knew that those boxes meant SOMETHING, right? Monica's Will was just sitting in there waiting for Tracey to find it. I want to mention the Lucy Coe talk she had and how much I appreciated it. Those two characters do share quite a history and much of it only they know. Really liked that scene with them. Another good direction was Ronnie almost signing the papers while Tracey actually finds the file. DUN DUN DUN. I also loved when Ronnie looked up at Michael with tears in her eyes. It got me. Here's hoping Tracey makes it in time!! Although it's all a fraud so it shouldn't matter. Right!!? 

MEAN MICHAEL: Oh, he's just smoldering, isn't he?? He's filled with Willow-Rage and not afraid to use it! Jacinda also tells him that Nina tried to double-bribe her into leaving town. I'm glad they are going to team up. Sonny even tried to tamper down Michael's revenge tour but he was having none of it. You go Dark Son of a Gangster! 

THE F**ing PIER: First of all, thank the universe voting day is Nov 4th. PLEASE BE OVER WITH. Also, isn't the mayor's race happening? ? Where has Ezra been? Is this even a thing now? I'm going to talk about Sidwell here because he's in this mix as well. It seems he's also deep into the Dalton Lab AND Croatia. Now he want to talk to Laura about "Saving Port Charles". Hmmm. 

OMG THE BABY!  Where to start on this story. Phew. Portia being in the cabin with Isaiah at the same time Jordan is telling Curtis about the baby was a good use of split-time. I don't mind Jordan being in that business because it's OG soapy and it's moving things along. Portia is driving me insane however, because she's acting like Curtis being around Jordan is punishable by death when all the time she was sleeping with Isaiah!! I even think the first time they did it, Curtis and her weren't even that 'broken up'!! BTW, telling Laura and Ava was an interesting choice. 

DALTON EMERGES: You're not seeing things. The Professor who was the center of the LAB for a few weeks months ago, showed up again. I guess Britt is working with him now to do whatever they are doing. Hurry it up. I mean, Emma's probably had a birthday and grown and inch in the time this has taken. While I'm not hopeful for this storyline, I am looking for a big payoff down the road. Please. I'm begging you. 

THE BORE OF NATHAN: Um, a guy comes back from the literal dead and he's....walking around town giving advice and doing nothing? What is even happening? Usually when a character comes back there's SOME intrigue. This guy is just-- there. Yes, I know something will happen but dang, it's taking forever. Shouldn't he be whispering to himself? People lurking in the shadows? Getting injections like Britt? Staring scarily into space? ANYTHING? 

ANNA: THE KEY TO EVERYTHING?? The way they are featuring Anna and her history with Faison is just pulling me right in. Finola is also playing it perfectly. Faison IS a scary monster and people better pay attention. I SO wish this Brennan held any kind of charm for me because that dynamic could be great. Right now? Sad horn. Anyway, Anna's putting the strands together and here's hoping there's a Dane at the end of it all. 

CUTE ROMANCE: Cody and MOLLY are hitting the right notes for me. Cody has become a fave and MOLLY just gets better. More please.

GREAT MOMENT: Hope you caught Ronnie saying "JOEY"? When she was in Bobbie's on Friday!! A fun little nugget for all of us OLTL fans! 

WUBSY'S HUMBLE OPINIONS: I really wish Erika could stay. She's a great actress and fit easily on to the canvas. I realize she's 'retired' and on the east coast but maybe have her visit now and again??? I'm also probably in the minority here but having all the Qs find an alternative living space could have been fun. Drew wobbling around an empty mansion being haunted by various Q ghosts could have also had traction. I'm happy the teens are teaming up with Emma and Gio because they are needed for the next gen of GH. The baby story? While it's soapy, it's just not the greatest set up. I mean Portia is older (nothing wrong with that) but also went thru a WTD with Trina YEARS ago. Putting Curtis back with Jordan? Meh. Not really that exciting. Been there, done that. Where the hell is Ric? What's Ava going to do? She needs a kick-ass storyline. One more thing: SONNY AND THE ADA? NO. When she was talking to Jordan about getting close to him so his 'guard would go down' it was Hannah all over again. Just get into the story where he has to hand the business over to Michael. Michael is ready now. So much potential in this. Shame you killed off Morgan but-- Kristina is there too. She's a pain now but whip her into Penguin shape. 

I'm liking GH a lot lately because it's a sense of community and characters flowing again. People mix and interact all over the place. Here's hoping it continues. 

PS. Get Trina a story. I sound like a broken record! If ANYONE should have been involved with Isaiah it should have been Trina or Liz.
