Oh! I did see Bradford Anderson is coming 'Back" to GH -- not back back..probably for one of his stints. Last time he was recast briefly, remember?
Jennifer Bassey (Former Marian Colby on AMC) is joining GH as well. No word on who she'll be playing--her AMC character a new one. I like her-- but ANOTHER PERSON! Read about it on Soaps In Depth.
Roger Howarth signed a new contract with the show. He had hit a "snag" ($$) but now is all set to keep playing Franco.
They could meet Roger's demands but not Christopher's. Surprise...surprise.

Jennifer Bassey looks like a younger Constance Towers. Anyone else see it? More flashbacks maybe? Fell asleep before GH came so guess I'll catch it on Hulu. I can't stand Carson but can't wait to hear Sonny and lawyer chick explanation.
ReplyDeleteDid Marion (Bassey's character on AMC) interact with Alex Devane? If so, then I bet she's coming on the show as Marion as part of the Alex reveal.

DeleteI've heard Jennifer Bassey will be playing Diane's mother. Any of you know that know the character of Marian Colby you can see how she would be perfect as Diane's mother. And no she won't be Marian – but she will probably act very Marian- like!

ReplyDeleteI guess that Nelle and Michael originally were intended to be siblings (until some idiot saw chem between them), they look tooo much alike to be paired romantically. I thought it was a random mugging, not like Nelle was targeted. But, I was HOPING that she is leaving the show . . .
ReplyDeleteHowever, as this is GH, and we can predict the plots, Michael and Nelle were both walking away, her from Port Charles and Michael from her, now she will be in the hospital near death and Michael will run to her side . . .
ReplyDeleteOn another note, the Anna thing at the end was kinda shocking, even though we knew it was probably Alex. As someone who never saw the Alex character before, I guess it is strange to see that there are 2 of her . . .
I just got caught up with Wed. thru Fri. Very nice to see Connie in flashbacks but watching that beating was horrendous. We really need this in daytime TV? Fast forwarded through most of everything and I wish Nelle was gone, too. The only thing I actually thought was decent was the conversation between Hayden & Finn about the pregnancy-well written. And the Anna shock-we kind of knew it was coming but not how. Not having watched Alex previously I have no idea why she would abduct her own sister. Were they enemies? And do we really need a news conference interrupting almost every day?

ROFL! But then WAIT! There IS more cake in the break room!!! HAHAHAHAHA! Finster lied!!! :)
Maddox and Sonny: No Sonny what Maddox is looking at is none of your business. Oh wait it IS! ROFL! More talk about Pilly!!! But Pilly is nowhere in sight.

RayFinn and Griffy: OH! RayRay got the preggers!!!! :) A RayFinn baby!!! YAY!!!!!! I read that she was going to be preggers. Why didn't they use Griffy's pee? And the pee doesn't prove that Brad did it!! Why didn't anyone of you follow him!?!?!!! This doesn't make sense.

** While we now know for certain that this isn't Anna in PC. Whoever it is, still isn't acting like Alex at all. She's been making some VERY stupid mistakes, and is just "all over the place", while Alex was VERY meticulous and reserved. She was also a brilliant surgeon, so completely forgetting about Anna's cancer, and just totally flaking it off, is totally out of character. It just doesn't fit. Unless Jelly is completely changing the character.

** What we've seen is completely out of character for Alex. In fact, when she first learned that Anna was alive she was the one that treated her in secret, bringing her back to health. (Up until now, she had just disappeared for a couple months out of the blue, there was no mention of Anna at all on AMC. In fact, it was a HUGE shock even, that Anna was even still alive. At that point in time, is when things started to be explained about who was who.) Long story short: Alex was never a spy, or anything remotely like that. She was a surgeon. As far as their relationship, the last we heard, was when Dr. O was trying to break Faison out of Steinmauer, in the Anna mask. The guard asked Anna if she had a twin sister, and she responded, "Yes, I do. I've spoken to her recently, and this is not her." Whoever this is, she's nothing like Alex. (Unless, it's Jelly rewriting history, yet again.)

ReplyDeleteYeah her half brother in a cage, was idiotic!!!!! Ridiculous!!! UGH! That was just a bad storyline including Anna having a twin.. I love Agnus Nixon, but that storyline wasn't working so she should have scrapped it. Killed them off.
I think that Richard Cullitan wss writing the show during that time.

** Yeah, I'm pretty certain by that time Agnes wasn't writing .She was definitely "consulting" then, though The kid had zero redeeming values whatsoever, and was a poster-child (pun not intended) of how NOT to create and write a character.I was okay with her cousin/nephew (I can't remember which for certain) Aiden (Which I think is pretty obvious as to why :)) That said, if we never see him again in the future, I'm still quite okay with that!
