Sunday Surgery: Digital Diagnosis

I feel like the old geezer that was huddled around the family radio complaining about the 'new fangled box with the pictures on it" flickering in the corner. Only I'm not a geezer, I have a lot of "new fangled contraptions" upon which to play the new cybersoaps --I'm just left with a whole lotta questions.

There has been quite a bit of talk about the mystery of the digital switch.  Most of us are excited, some don't know what to make of it and some are out probably figuring out how they can watch on their smartphones during class. (I know who you are...ps. there are teachers that watch while they lecture too). I'm going to play both sides. I have questions but am tempering them with a bit of giddy excitement. So..here we go.

1. What will they look like? Will I turn my computer on at 1pm every day and basically boot up to watch a live stream of the show that used to be on my TV?? Will it be an hour with commercials and all? Or will they be shorter and we have to watch a commercial at the beginning? Or will there be a crawl at the bottom?? What!?


2. Are they free? Cause right now, most live streams like Hulu Plus and Netflix (soon to get it's own show) are all pay-for. Will we pay Park Place to watch? Would you pay? How much would you pay? Maybe they'll just have product placements all over. OR they'll get rolling THEN make us pay. LOL I'm so trusting, aren't I??


3. What will the actors do? Come on over? Will the cast be trimmed?? Who will be the first BIG name to sign up?? Will they trim even more of the people?

4. Could we have a live twitter feed on the side like some streams do?? Then I can watch and tweet just like I do now--but right on the same screen!!

General Bordello? Good Gravy, I HATE THIS PART OF THE SHOW! The story makes NO sense. Like Lulu wouldn't have just given Lupe money to call if she saw Luke. NO, gotta get the Hooter's outfits going. Javier. OY. Dante was hilarious being "held back" by the goons! LOL

The Pizza Shack was a Port Charles set. Winnie the Pooh plug  LOL Morgan was like "what if we are here 2 weeks"!! TWO WEEKS? Can they get in those shacks? Do they have food? What?

Jax handcuffed to the desk. This is the worst story ever written, imo. Good LORD. INGO did a fantastic job today however. But this is Guza's stupid poison pen. The whole woman locking herself in the bathroom was from the Charlie Sheen fiasco! ahahahaa.

Johnny/Ethan are nice eye candy together. Krissy/Sonny were fun as well. 

Today's Cliffhanger? Uh, Javier french kissing Lulu LOL

I hope Brenda kicks Sonny's ass.

The Woman In White

I am taking the following directly from the scripts notes section (this is ABC's description, not mine):

The scene opens at the Haunted Starr with Ethan and the woman in white. She is an enigma. Beautiful in an ethereal way. She might have stepped out of a forest in middle earth (for all anyone knows, she did). The woman in white has nothing to offer by way of memories, seemingly appearing out nowhere in a psychiatrist's office nearly a year ago, asking for help. There is no record of her. She has long blonde hair that always seems beyond her control, while her emotions remain tightly intact. Men are always so taken with her. She is coy and brazen. Intelligent and intuitive with a smoky voice, fluid movements. A placid but intense unsettling gaze in her blue eyes that can flash with mercurial anger or simply drift away. She's a challenge to anyone who meets her, and a threat to anyone that probes too close. Ethan is drawn to her like a moth to the flame.

By the way-- who remembers "Angel"???? !! ahahahhaa.  or Galadriel.

Soap Opera Digest Has Casting News

GENERAL HOSPITAL is looking for a female in her 30s. She is described as "striking and beautiful, earthy but ethereal. She is an enigma: capable of moments of genuine tenderness, and instant rages. Strong, eccentric, eclectic, irreverent and unpredictable, depending on her mood." The role is contract.


Because we need more "Spunky Gals in their 30's" On GH.. NOT
This may be when Johnny goes to Bensonhurst..not sure yet. That whole part could be scraped. I'm hearing 2 different things.  Maybe this chick is for Sonny. WHO knows.

Raven is saying both Ric and Alkazar may be coming back to GH...if you had to pick, which one would you go for?? I'm torn. Both are likely only coming for a short-term stint, btw. (I honestly thought RH would never come back..hmmmm)   I just hope if all these people do make it back on canvas they get WRITTEN for. We've had enough of 'bad comebacks' that's for DANG sure!!
