First, Jessica Tuck, who played Megan on OLTL (but has done a LOT since; she's on TNT's Proof right now) is coming on tomorrow. I'm thinking she's going to be that Shriner Girl's mother. BUT! Twitter people are saying CASSANDRA, the lady Anna and Fin are after. Don't think it's long term.

DeleteI liked Jennifer Bransford - she was built like a badass and had huge, muscular hands that could have slapped and choked the hell out of Sonny. Watching Maruice try to interact with her forceful presence was comedy gold. Unfortunately, she was on the show 3 months tops.

** Jennifer was for about 15 mins between Tamara and Laura. So, your forgetting about her isn't all that surprising. I've pretty much tried to block all memory of her existence, myself. I like how Carly has actually been maturing somewhat with Laura in the role. When Carly was created she was essentially "hell in heels". and Sarah was PERFECT for the role then. But, I couldn't see her in the role, at this stage of Carly's life. Tamara was alright, definitely better than Jennifer. Though, what they're going to do with her now, I have no clue. Then again, she played two different characters on DAYS. (one quite dead now) So, she has the versatility. She did have a brief stint on AMC. But, the show was a real mess around that time. IIRC, Pratt was in the HW position at the time. Which pretty much says it all.
(Oh, all 4 episodes of Winterthorne are watchable from it's page that I pointed you to, btw. It's entirely free, but that's the only place to see it from. Just as a heads up, btw)

Yeh Sarah did kick butt when Caroline Benson first came to town, miss those days. GH kicked ass too! I remember her playing Ava Tripps mom but she was already dead. Before my time. Just know Joey did it.

Sarah Brown will always be Carly in my heart. I like Laura for the character she grew Carly into.

DeleteTamara Braun is my favorite Carly. I loved the whole panic room storyline, and then when she got shot and fell in love with Alcazar . . . It made me angry that after they got married (Jennifer's Carly), they ruined it. I also loved when she got to play Carly drunk with Jason as the straight man trying to reign her in.

I thought Sarah was the best Carly ... for that incarnation of the character. Just watch her in the episode when she comes out to Bobbie about being her daughter. She rocked that scene immensely. I thoroughly believed her as CLaudia and was glad she came back.
ReplyDeleteLaura made the character her own and yes, she is amazing. It is, to me, 2 different characters Sarah's was a schemer (spelling?) and Laura is more of a business woman.
I loved the scene when Carly and Claudia met for the first time.
As for Tamara I read a rumor she might be directly tied to steve burton's character
What do I hope? I home Caroline Benson never died as a teenager (Carly took her dead friend's name and used it) and the original, never to be counted out Caroline Benson returns. (played by Tamara)
Carly is Caroline Benson Carly Roberts died as a teenager she already came back from the dead as Reese whoever she was and died again.
