How many times can they keep switching up the Balkan story? Geesh...he and Suzy haven't seen each other for HOW many years but they are married? It's just stupid. I still say it just goes to show you how the writing changes and nothing is planned out--Suzanne is staying with Brenda in Paris-- and yet he's trying to kidnap her. Ah..forget it. One of my big bug a boos with GH is that they can't twist or surprise anymore because the stories just keep getting rewritten on a whim. Great stories are planned out and the pieces weave together at the end!! Suzanne's real name is Stephanie? Why? ugh. I think Suzy calls "Theo" Theo even when they are alone-- but I've never thought that was his name. They've never said his real name. Today Suzanne says he IS Theo--but when he first came to town he was on the phone and said he "Assumed the identity" of Theo Hoffman to get Diane to hire him. Didn't he? Am I just on crack? What!?
I'm so confused.
Balkan's "accent"...when he was Theo--he used his "pseudo-British" accent..then when he was The Balkan he used a Brooklyn one...now he's with Suzanne and doesn't have to use a fake one ans talks like "Theo" did. Why did he ever use that fake one??!
GET THIS!! You know, "Jules"...Theo's butler on GH?? His real life daughter (Francesca Cistone ) is going to play the new Emma!! Find out about it on SID. Even though reports said she was being aged, it looks like the new girlie is only a bit older than the ones now. I wonder if he'll be the new "Spinelli" if Bradford leaves for his new show?? Although the media nets show him getting stabbed, he can have a twin?? Hahaaa.
Here's the Video preview of Jake's upcoming story. It's pretty powerful. Jason's even watching the operation ---oy. Watching JJ and TG is just :sob: .... Jake's been unlucky since he was born! Geesh. I hope Cam didn't leave the door open. He's the Willie Oleson of GH! LOL..troublemaker.

Suzanne's going to go to the cave with the rest of them-- Spinelli should have put on a mining hat! ahahhaa... Brenda got injected with some lovely toxins. Bo-toxins?? She screamed loud enough...geesh. Scared my doggie. Brenda is Sleeping Beauty. Or as someone said on Twitter: Snow White with the dwarfs looking for her! LOL

Kristina flashback to the wedding. Awww. How obvious is it that Maya is never on anymore??? I know the girl has a new show but either recast or have her leave. Hell, Maya DOES walk into Kelly's! WOW.. call me shocked.
They made Lexi look older today...her makeup was perfect.
BTW, SID tweeted that the guy that plays "Charlie" might be out at #OLTL which would make sense. He bugs me anyway.

ReplyDeleteThe video was all about Jason. No shock there. Jason was told to give his kid up? Um, I don't think so. At the beginning maybe, but he was the one to make the decisions after Michael got shot and Jake got kidnapped. The promo video pretty much shows Liz was the reason that Jason didn't get to raise his kid...Stupid promo to go with stupid writing.

Ugh! I hate the fact that the writers are 'killing' Jake (seems so random and stupid) and I hate the position they've put Liz in her past story lines... "I want Jason... I want Lucky... no, wait, Nikolas... I see Lucky falling for that fake Irish girl, so I better fall back in love with him, that's my final answer. Shoot, Brooke likes Nik so I better use who I think is his child to lure him back... hmmm, I wonder if Sonny's dad is out of rehab yet, I don't think he's seeing anybody."

I would just like to point out that there is absolutely NO ONE that is forcing ANY of us to watch GH!! You can like the show or not. You can hate the writers, bitch about Jason, call Liz a Lizzard...whatever; but in the end the same truth holds: If you don't like the show then DON'T watch it!!! Simple as that!
ReplyDeleteI think all of us here, at one point or another, loved the show. The writing is particularly upsetting because many of us know how good the show can be. Rather than just not watching, I think the more productive thing IS to speak up and voice constructive criticism about it and about Guza. (Ex. The whole Sam-Brenda swap plot had so many holes in it, I could drive that delivery truck through it.)
ReplyDeleteIt's also maddening because in the real world, bad job performance = pink slip, but Guza is allowed to go on his merry way, writing more inane stories that make no sense.
On a positive note, I enjoyed Matt and Maxie today, and the first Kristina/Ethan scene. Both duos are adorable and the actors have great chem. They're the only duos that really make me smile. Naturally, they're rarely on! :(
Mabby was great for me too for awhile, but they are still having the same conversation ad nauseum and I have lost patience with it.

ReplyDeleteDori, if we all quit watching GH because we are tired if it, GH would be off the air. Some of us have been fans for 15 years and just want it to get better. I personally can't help watching it because I pray that the writing will get better. After Jake dies, I will be leaving because I have finally given up, but I may still come on here and rant and that is because I just want to. You will have to get over it.

I think everyone who has watched GH for a long time just keep watching waiting,hopeing,waiting,watching its not getting any better from what yall are saying.Me personally I'm not watching it anymore.But the need of dropping the F bomb in here is not needed I say a** to not offend anyone.All we can do is pray for a miracle or stop watching as I have.

ReplyDeleteI complain and rant not out of sport or because I actively harp on the negative, but there's just sooo many holes, unfairness, lack of cohesion, etc. that I HAVE to voice! While I know it's probably not productive, I feel better once it's off my chest.

ReplyDeleteKaren, I don't remember Theo saying he was assuming Theo Hoffman's identity, and I pretty much watch and listen to every moment of GH. I think he always was meant to be Theo Hoffman, that's why Suzanne (or whatever HER name is) calls him that.

ReplyDeleteDori, many of those that comment here are long time GH fans who know what the show once was and continue to watch in the hopes that someday it can return to what it used to be. They do not want it canceled, but love the show and want it to improve. They come here to write and vent for what has been and what could be. If you cannot handle that, than this may not be the place for you to be. I have been watching GH since Bobbie Spencer was dating Noah Drake, and I have determined that I have had enough and with Jake's death, I will be done. I barely watch anymore anyway. Based on recent comments, I deleted the last two episodes off my dvr last nigt without watching. Even though I won't be watching anymore, I will continue to come here, to read the posts, to comment, to commiserate with other fans and to hope that things will improve...

ReplyDeleteI luv Matt and Maxie - they are a much more entertaining couple than Lante. We should see them more. I though VMG did an excellent job yesterday. Whoever told her to play Brenda so weak and fragile for so long really almost ruined the character, but she is a good actress. Dread the Jake debacle but for those of us who really watch for the spectacular acting it should be somewhat rewarding.
