Today is Filler Day. Karen is off to spend the day with family (well deserved time off!) so there is no blog or recap today. Instead, talk about today's show in the comments below. Also, we ask for your input in today's comments as well. We all know that Jonathan is returning as Lucky. Here are 2 questions for you to answer in the comments.
1) Where has he been?
2) What are your thoughts for a storyline for him.

Karen's Thoughts:
This will be a tough one for sure. He's already been back a few times (twice with a new face) and now he's been gone long enough to merit the REALLY "DEAD BEAT DAD" title. I'm going with the idea he's been WSB and it will tie into the Pikeman story. That's one of the reasons Mac left "to help a friend". He and Frisco have been doing some uber-spy stuff in Europe and he has to return home because he knows Port Charles is about to become ground zero in a world wide mob fight.
I also think Aidan's height is going to be hilarious when you put him next to Lucky and Liz-- I know Luke was tall but...eesh lol
Dave's Thoughts:
I want him to have met someone (let's call her Lauren) and for the past several years he engaged in a relationship with this woman. Then, someone from his past has caught up to him and threatened him (actually maybe from his dad's past) and he left Lauren for her protection. Like he did when he walked into Ruby's diner in 1983, (flashback) he winds up on Bobbies' doorstep to hopefully take shelter and refuge. Lauren follows him to Port Charles and finds him. He tells her she isn't safe and needs to leave and all she can muster to say is "But I'm pregnant".
-----I really need Lucky to have a GREAT reason for not being around for his son - Jason gets criticized but Lucky is worse....his podcast with Steve and Bradford is great - he was last on GH though 2009?

Joss's home: I thought this was Carly's kitchen at first.
Joss and Carly: Well Carly wishes Joss was little again, so she don't have to tell her what is going on! Carly just had to tell her about Jason being an informant and about the secret recording about her. OH! They also talk about Dex and things have changed between them. The Tribbles will be very happy about that. They love Dex. :)
Deception offices:
Lucy, Scotty, Lois, Maxie, Nina, and Dimwit: Nina got Dimwit to tell them who leaked that audio!! DIMWIT!!!! You need to be stronger than this! Lucy wants Scotty to not be Ava's lawyer.
Lucy: Or no you know what, with you know who.
Wait what? Lucy are you and Scotty sleeping together? :D Maxie wins the line of the day.
Maxie: Please take this outside of my office.
BAHAHAHAHAHA!
Scotty: I doubt you would be able to hold out.
Lucy: Well I doubt you will be holding anything Mr.
HOLY COW! BAHAHAHAHAHA!
Maxie, Nina, and Dimwit:
Nina: You're fired.
Dimwit: But I told you my source.
Nina: No good journalist would do that.
EXACTLY! He is a weak man! One little threat and he gives in! Oh wait a minute. Maxie doesn't want him fired. Maxie wants his complete obedience. If he stays at the invader, then he will have to write whatever Nina wants him to print. And if he disobeys then everyone will know he was part of today's horror show. Ooooo Maxie very nice. :)
Metrocourt hotel/Queen Ava's room:
Queen Ava and Alexis: Alexis is good. Queen Ava is good too. I'm glad Queen Ava isn't showing that she is nervous. Good. Alexis is playing with her. Did Alexis tape Ava their conversation or not? Maybe she did. Or maybe not. ROFL!
Queen Ava and Scotty: Scotty had to tell Ava he can't be her lawyer. :)
Sonny's fake restaurant:
Sonny and Natalia: Sonny is not upset with her. He is very understanding. UGH!
Sonny, Natalia, and Alexis: Alexis is surprised to see Natalia and Sonny together. Of course Sonny defends Natalia.
Natalia: I can't help how I feel.
Alexis: I think you can. Help how you feel. By perhaps opening up your mind.
GO ALEXIS GO! :D
Alexis and Sonny: Sonny still defending Natalia. Alexis wanted to tell Sonny that it was Ava, but he already knows. She wants to know what they are going to do about it.
Krissy's home:
Kraze: So now Blaze wants to give up, and Krissy is the strong one!
Kraze and Sasha: Sasha understands. She talks about how when she had her breakdown it was all over the internet.
Kraze, Sasha, and Alexis: Alexis tells them that it was Ava Jerome that spilled that audio! DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN!
Lucky isn't deadbeat, but he still doesn't show up for big events when Liz was in trouble or his kids and I don't think any financial help? I LOVE Lucky but it's gotta be a good reason he is returning and where he has been.

I can understand why Sonny wouldn't be mad at Natalia. She admitted being a homophobe. It's how she feels, as narrowminded and pathetic as it is. IMO his anger is directed correctly. This story is encompassing the whole soap right now.
ReplyDeleteI still hold to my gut feeling that Ava is not for long on this show. I mean, when was the last time someone was railroaded in all directions so quickly.
ReplyDeleteI swear, if they kill Ava, I will probably stop watching the show. Today's episode made me nervous. (Also, there is no way the court would give custody to a mob boss over her.)
