obvious zezy "SORAS" /? A birdie told me she may be back... and of course, the show has "no comment"-- the actors can't talk so..

Goodbye Lexi !!

One of my fave GH actors is leaving the "nest" today-- well, it's the last day she'll be on our screens as Kristina Davis. You know my feelings on this. NOT Happy in WubTown! I think she's done a wonderful job with the part and will be so sad to see her go. Yesterday's show with Maurice choking up and NLG basically losing it was so emotional. Today, she'll say bye to Ethan. I hear in December, "Kristina" will come back  as a "new and vamp-proved" character.  Good luck with that. This is a time that GHers need familiarity, not newbies or recasts. I don't care WHAT you have planned for her. I guess we should be glad that Kim McCollough talked them into keeping her years ago or Robin would be a giant boobed glamor girl.

LEXI is on to bigger and better things already... "So This is Christmas" is filming now. Her Official Website is great, so give it a visit! I wish her nothing but the best and success. She'll always have her Daytime Family to follow her wherever she goes (whether she likes it or not! LOL).

Lexi was nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year. Follow her on twitter: @_LexiAinsworth

Happy Birthday To Lexi Ainsworth!

Our "Krissy" is having a birthday today and I want to give a shout out and good wishes to her!! As you saw in my previous blog post, she's working on a movie in her home state of Oklahoma right now.  "So This Is Christmas" will have a 2012 release date.

Kim and Lexi Red Carpet It!
As we all know, Lexi was recently let go from GH amid controversy as to the reasons why they want a recast. Kim McCollough responded to the whole thing by saying she too was pressured to look 'more mature" in her role as Robin. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise for Lexi because she's already gotten a  new gig and will no doubt land more when finished.

 Goodbye flowers from Nathan Parsons

"Kristina's" scenes going off to Yale are coming soon on GH. These will be Lexi's last  on the show. She did tell me that she will be visiting the set over the holidays so please think about sending her a birthday card there!! Address: General Hospital at ABC TV, 4151 Prospect Ave, Hollywood CA 90027.

SO HAPPY DAY and lots of WUBS to Lexi... here's hoping for a really wonderful year!!

So This Is Christmas

Lexi is in Oklahoma filming her movie "So This Is Christmas" with
Eric Roberts and Vivica A Fox.

The film  began Oct. 15, for four-plus weeks, in the Tulsa area at sites including Utica Square, Will Rogers High School, the Spotlight Theater and River Parks.
The story is  a tale of redemption that follows a teen girl who turns her empty life around and finds meaning by giving back to others.

Talent in front of the camera: The lead character is played by Lexi Ainsworth, an Oklahoma City native and veteran of film and TV who earlier this year was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award as outstanding young actress for her performances in "General Hospital." Her character is a member of an interesting family mix that includes parents played by film veterans Eric Roberts of "Runaway Train" and "The Dark Knight" and Vivica A. Fox of "Independence Day" and "Kill Bill, Vol. 1." The girl's brother is played by Titus Makin Jr., who appeared in six episodes of "Glee" last season as one of the Warblers.

Can't wait to see more of this!! This movie has a 2012  release date, btw..

Kimberly McCollough On Lexi Ainsworth's Firing

Oh Daytime Confidential has the digs on the newest edition of Soap Opera Digest (Nov. 1st). Seems Kimberly is well aquainted with Daytime's blatant stupidity when it comes to sex and age. The younger you are, the older they want you to look-- the older you are, well, you know how THAT goes.

"That's baloney, because the same thing happened to me," she shares. "Young is a nice way of saying you're not sexy enough. This has nothing to do with being young. I completely relate because I faced the same problem. "

I was the one that pointed out that TPTB could have recast "Robin" all those years ago but chose not to. Now, we have a great actress that grew up on the show. Not so for Lexi, who is also an Emmy nominee. GH is making such terrible choices lately. Glad people are calling them out.

Another Great Lexi Photo..Facebook

It's not too late to try to save Lexi-- the recast won't be on until December they say so let's see what we can do!! Here's a facebook page started by one of her fans to keep you informed.
Most of the time,  I say ahhh, what the heck, why bother? But this? What do we have to lose!!?? Plus, look at Mo, Lexi and Nancy--PERFECT casting!!
Also, please consider sending a postcard or thank you note to her right at the studio. Show them how much fan mail she still gets.

Sunday Surgery: The Plastics

Ah... leave it to GH-- throw the baby out with the bathwater. As if fans are reeling enough from Tyler, Vanessa and Ingo's departure, we get a NuKate and now a Kristina recast. I am assuming NuKate happened because they didn't like Megan Ward's "look". We know it wasn't her acting. The newbie is years younger and blonde. Now, they are going to "change" Kristina so she "fits" better with Ethan and presumably, Johnny. I can only guess that this is going in the "mob" direction of Johnny using Krissy as a tool to get to Sonny, then probably falling in "real" love with her. Because, that story has never been done, right?

I've watched soaps since I was a kid-- and that's a LONG TIME.  I've seen a million recasts over the years. Some good, some bad, some disastrous and yes, some great.  Here's the thing: GH is on it's LAST LEGS. why they want to mess with anything like recasting a good actress and a fave is beyond me.

Let's see. Kristina is 19, just graduated HS and looking for a direction in life. She has the body of a model, and is very young looking sooooo, why not have her get into the big/bad world of fashion instead of going to college? Easy money vs Education? This could involve Crimson--and a whole slew of stories. Also, Michael is paired with an older woman as well.  HE looks 19, she looks way older but THAT'S ok. Sure, Chad/Drew were switched but not for nothin, Michael doesn't look a day over 19, imo. Why not Re-Recast him? Abby looks about 33--why not recast the GUY?!! hmmm. Wonder why. Can't wait to see the 'body type' they get for the new Krissy.

The other reason I'm so upset is because the "Davis Girls" have really been on a roll since the whole Keifer story. I love Molly/Krissy/Sam with Alexis. They are a unit. We've seen them grow.  Now? Doesn't matter. Doesn't matter Lexi got an emmy nod either. Talent doesn't seem to matter sheeze all to casting.

There are already Ethina fans out there that love this couple. There's a tiny minority saying Kristina looks too young. In reality,  Lexi is 19 and Nathan is 23. That should be enough to shut people up, imo. I say DON'T PAIR HER WITH JOHNNY if that's the problem!!  Freaking write something original!!

So, we are at a crossroads again with this F'in show... another one of my faves is gone. I have little to look forward to now. We were ALL hoping Wolf would turn it around, go in different directions. Nah, cops still getting shot, Mob Wars all over, Illegal Drugs in a "panic room"-- Sam will be bound/gagged soon.  Carly running around like a banshee. Liz in "danger"-- it's like GH doesn't know HOW to write for intelligent women without having them in PERIL!!!

CASTING better bring it. And do a HELL OF A BETTER job than they have with "Dolores"!! (Good GOD--she's awful).  I certainly won't hold anything against the new girl but she'd better knock my socks off. There's a NuDoc coming too--and don't forget the Gothic "Lady In White". I'm also hoping Kirsten Storms makes it back. GH isn't going to look anything like GH in a bit.

On to the usual Rotation of the week-- even though my heart isn't in it.

SCENE OF THE WEEK:  I'm going with Ethan and Lucky's talk about Wyndemere an cracking jokes about Helena. It was a natural, good feeling scene. Nathan Parsons contines to impress me with his ease in the role. It was one time Lucky wasn't crying his face off or on the floor looking for pills.

NOT SCENE OF THE WEEK:  That Panic Room Sheeze.  I get that Shawn is "hot" and he and Carly might "do it" but for them to be stuck that long, talking about nothing was really a bore.

PS: from Daytime Confidential:
On a positive note, Lexi went on to tweet she's booked a movie role opposite soap alums Eric Roberts and Vivica A. Fox. The flick is called So This Is Christmas and Roberts and Fox will portray her dad and stepmom

By the way, I'm probably going to be more of a bitch on this show this week, so beware. LOL The Blog may not be for the faint of heart.

YEP Another One- Friday

SO, here we go. I'm speculating it's Jerry Jack with a new face. He comes in October. We know he'll be tied to JJE and Hudson....
