I thought Olivia Jerome coming back would be good, but yet again it's drawn out and snooze worthy. Having her be Alexis' sponsor was ok, but you know she's gonna be all over Sam's baby. Just what we need..peril with a newborn. Lulu was at it again with Charlotte-- until Charlotte told her to get lost. Lulu then went and cried to Mama at the Metro.
Next week the nurses plan a strike because Hayden has to lay off people to save the hospital which is going to be taken over by Olivia Jerome. Maybe they are the #Resistance ? Protests protests everywhere!

OJ returning could've been epic. Make her come back for ANNA as she should be and make her Griffin's mom. This chasing down JJ's family and terrorizing baby, toddlers and patients because she missed out on a life in hiding is STUPID! You were in hiding. Make a DAMN LIFE!!
She should be in scenes by now with AVA, ANNA, GRIFFIN, and JJ the scenes that would resonate the most in her short time returning.
This NURSES STRIKE IS STUPID! The hospital is barely holding on and you think walking out will help keep the doors open.
WHY NOT have Hayden go to VALENTIN and demand her CASSADINE $$$ to be invested in the hospital? WHY have they not had scenes together yet? She is a Cassadine Widow. Go to Sonny and Carly and ask to invest in the hospital and get a board seat. IF they make the board room as funny as old Quartermaine board meetings then the focus becomes HOSPITAL and NOT the mob.
Why is Finn's Lizard Cure not a pending patent with NATIONAL exposure to bring the hospital publicity. awareness and money?

Only scenes I enjoyed were Friz's delicious morning after, their honest talk about fear and adorable Aiden surprising them I also loved the spark & crackle between Ava and Curtis.
ReplyDeleteI'm always up for a hospital story but it needs to be realistic. The RNs are unionized. There's no way RNs with seniority like Elizabeth, Epiphany or Felix would be fired. Last hired is the first fired.
I absolutely detest Nina and Nell and their overexposure.
I'm bored out of my skull by the Mob side of the canvas. Way too much time spent investigating what could've been figured out weeks ago.
If Olivia is supposed to absolve Julian it's not working for me at all. He's had ample opportunity to kill her Instead she's leading him around by the short hairs. Just reenforces him as a weak fool who'd rather abuse Alexis & try and slit her throat than be a man of conviction.
Yes, I said it earlier, why can't Julian just off Cray Olivia? I know her scenes will run through March--I still think she was brought on board to reunite Julexis. He will probably say he can't off her because she has "people in place who will harm family members if anything happens to her." Well, that is, I think that makes sense, he hasn't said this and neither has she, as the writers are too lazy to even explain this.

Someone here mentioned that they fear that Robin will end up being Valintin's. I first panicked, thinking, Oh No, don't give the writers any ideas! Then I realized, they NEVER take ideas from the fans, if they did, the show would be sooo much better . . .
Yes Olivia should be sharing scenes with Anna by now. She should also be in scenes with Lucy.
ReplyDeleteHaving her be an AA sponsor is insulting to make could have been a meaningful and impactful storyline. Monica should have been the sponsor. Remember Alexis does have a history with the Q's from her Dobson days.
Are Anna's headaches a sign of something more? A serious illness coming her way? I'd love to see her be given a powerful storyline. Also would open the door to returns or visits from Robin, Emma, and Robert. Increased presence for Felicia, Mac, etc.
I want nurse Amy to get fired and go off the deep-end. Have her kill Hayden. Have her kill Finn for not stopping Hayden. Kill Franco for him keeping his art therapy job while nurse's got fired. Kill Andre for successfully profiling her for the police. Kill Nathan for investigating. Kill Nelle because Nelle wouldnt intercede re Michael's vote. Kill Kiki because she scab works while Nurses are on strike. Kill Sonny for not bailing out the hospital. Kill Nina for her refusing to run an article in support of the nurses and/ or running a pro condo article.
I couldn't agree more with Guy about the show. The show is called General Hospital and they never focus on the hospital that bears its title. The mob is played out and I for one get sick and tired watching Sonny go overboard with his gun and threatening to shoot it. It seems like when sweeps rolls around we get this scene and it has been going on for years. Michael is a Quatermaine not a Corenthos and I get sick of the show writing him as such.It seems he goes week to week as one or the other. He should not even have a relationship with Sonny knowing that he killed his bio dad and do not get me started on how the show has written AJ as the evil one in the Sonny and Carly dynamic. He wasn't the one who hung AJ on a meathook and denied Micheal to grow up not knowing his real family. Yes the Q's are not perfect but they don't kill other people to get their own way. Love the cast of this show but the show needs a complete overhaul with writing and maybe producing as well and the focus need to return to the hospital. They need to quit bringing in new characters who have no ties to the canvas and bring on characters that do. Plus they need to write for the characters they currently have and quit dropping storylines.

** That's one of the biggest problems with this storyline, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Unless she stole Duke's body and replaced it before Anna had him cremated, and wants to bring him back to life with Helena's underground lab underneath GH, that she made Tony bring Stavros 2.0 back to life, I don't even remotely have a clue as to why she wants to get and close GH so badly.

** YES YES YES! Him INSTANTLY forgiving Sonny for murdering A.J. when Sonny was in the hospital was absolute bullshit. Especially calling himself "Michael Corinthos III" (After not to long ago legally changed his name to Michael Quartermaine, which is what it should have been to begin with) when he went to that meeting of the Five Families that for some bizarre reason, was held at Ryan's bar, (Which means both Maeve and Johnny HAVE to be dead, since there is no way in hell they would ever allow that to happen.) made me sick to my stomach. Having him turn into a complete Sonny apologist from that point onward is just so wrong.

Sorry, but Liv isn't an interesting villain. And how many times is Anna going to sit at a table at the Metro Court whining to Griffin about Valentin? Lulu needs to see Kevin about her baby obsession. Things are bad when Valentin and Nina are the most interesting couple.

DeleteABC network is hilarious. 9 minutes into today's show they cut in with a look at Pres. Trump's visit with the Canadian PM, and their speeches. The show was off air for 40 minutes. I switched over to the CANADIAN channel which aired all of GH. We'll tune in to the news at 5 to hear about the PM's speech if we're interested.
