Mac and Robin: Love the scene! I love how Mac is so excited that Robin is the chief of staff! :) When Mac talked to Robin of how she was a little girl and now she is the chief of staff, I giggled. :)
Coleman, Alexis, and Diane: PERFECTION!!!!! :) Alexis admits she has fuzzy slippers! :) She is afraid of alcohol poisoning!! Strip pool! ROFL! Mmmm Colman is losing! Mac walks in!! HAHAHAHAHA! Uh Coleman? How about just you and me play strip pool? :)

Lisa, I am afraid it is too little too late for GH and the ratings...even with everybody raving about GW's ratings, I still have no desire to come back because 1)Frons et al still really run the show and will push their own agenda and 2)once OLTL ends I will no longer have the tv on in the afternoons, so why bother watching now? OLTL is kicking butt and still people are shutting off the tv afterwards and not watching GH. What do you think is going to happen when OLTL is over and GH does not have that lead-in? Unless GW can completely reverse the last 3-5 years of GUZA crap, GH doesn't stand a chance...

I have to agree that Monica has not been in Jason's life and barely knows this person. However, she is still next of kin, that goes without saying. What I don't like is the back and forth. First you show them bonding, then fighting. Which do you want us to do? Root for them to be friendly, or not? I also agree not having Spin on was refreshing at the very least. Liz is welcome on my sreen however. Loved the Jake scenes with my favorite bffs!
ReplyDeleteI also have to say I'm surprised they don't have Carly back at GH. We all know Jason and Sonny are more important to her than her own children. The fight that is happeneing with Sam & Monica would be more believable with Sam & Carly IMO.

ReplyDeleteAlthough Monica raised Jason, his biological mother is Susan Moore, whose cousin is Heather Webber, the mother of Steven Webber. That makes Jason and Steven (second) cousins. But, the show never even mentions this.

My2Cents2 Lila's maiden name is Morgan. When Jason told Lila that his last name is Morgan now, Lila said that is MY maiden name. Jason was surprised to hear that. He didn't remember. So maybe subconsciously he used Lila's maiden name for himself. :)

My2Cents2, what I did not appreciate about the scene was how Sam could be so mean spirited to get what she wanted.

I cannot believe she had the gall to say that Monica and Jason have now only been on speaking terms for a short while, and that Jason would want her (Sam) to make the decision, and she hasn't been told anything that would want her to allow surgery. And, this is after she said we are engaged but we didn't tell you. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound.
Not only is that rude, but down right arrogant.
First off, Monica is a doctor, who's been here before where Jason's concerned. Would you not want to defer to her discretion?? Not only because of her medical knowledge, but experience.
Sam asked to be included into the conversation, but as soon as Monica said she would be making the decision as she is his next of kin, Sam had to stake her claim.
For someone that chewed out Carly for not respecting boundaries, and always trying to be number 1 in Jason's life, Sam is doing the same thing at Jason's mother's expense no less, and when his life is at stake.
Sam has such a penchant to speak on Jason's behalf all the time.
I believe Jason would want his mother to have input, as he himself has said he has many regrets and wished he had allowed them to have more say in his life.
At the end of the day, it's still Monica's discretion to make the decision. So Sam needs to be a lot more respectful.
And, if rumours are true that she gives Monica a picture of Jake after all this, I just find that manipulative and disgusting and it's only to get in Monica's good graces no less.
And to answer your other question My2Cents2, I believe we cannot start a blog as this is Karen's blog. We can only make comments in the different blog threads' comments section.
