Sunday Surgery: The Wrath of Jay-SAN

You probably have to be a Trek fan to get the title but oh well! This week was a mixture of things and mainly St. Jaysus saying goodbye to the people that count first. You know--Carly.

Snow again here after really spring like weather so I'm a bit cranky.

Grab what you got and let's GO GO!

DREWBY DRAWERS:  Scout finally sees her father and he blinks "yes" to her when she asks if he's ok. (Um, girl.. does he LOOK ok??) So she's all happy because she thinks he'll get better. Meanwhile, Sidwell read the riot act to Willow and told her Scout had to live with her because "it would look bad if she didn't" (thin at best). Then Willow had to basically tell Alexis she was taking Scout back to the house and in return, she'll lift the restraining order against Danny. Why the hell Alexis didn't look her dead in the eye and say: "I know you shot your husband so I wouldn't do that if I were you" is beyond me. So, I guess Scout is back in that house and... they'll all go to DC ?? Or?? Does Sidwell think they are moving the girl to a different school? Just a dumb plan, imo.

Nina cried and got all upset because Brennan is blackmailing HER with Willow's video tape. Even though she was found not guilty he's saying "in the court of public opinion" it would crush her. Again, just a dumb plan, imo.

LULU...LULU...LULU: My goodness. For two  40 some ladies this is the High School Musical we thought we'd never get. I listened to Lulu whine to Tracey (ok, I can take any Jane Elliot scenes so no bother) and then to Carly about her "Nathan problem". In the end, it seemed to get all solved when Lulu and Maxie had a long talk and Maxie admitted that Lulu was "her person".  WELP!! Ok then! Moving on, right??

BAGGAGE CLAIM:  After a week of full soap days, we finally circled back to Tiny baby. They found out Delilah WILSON (that's her last name) left from Union Station in Manhattan. In the luggage there was a list of art galleries in SoHo and Chelsea along with baby stuff and 'high end clothing". She was obviously running from someone but ol' Dante and Nathan couldn't seem to grasp that concept by themselves. Also note: Her tattoo had a paintbrush on it so ergo, artist.  Anyway, the hunt will be on to find her backstory. Meanwhile:

NICU TATER:  Back at GH, Brook Lyn is allowed to sit with the baby and talk to her. You could feel that bonding right through the glass! Oh, then Chase walks in and sings a lullaby to her and... Brook looks on lovingly. Get those foster papers ready. My ideas on this later.

NAILS R US: Over at the salon, ADA dreams about her kiss with Sonny while she's getting her nails done with Jordan. Who walks in? Why, it's Trina and Portia. Guess who both have to leave? Yep.. ADA and Trina. That leaves us with Portia and Jordan staring at each other. The next bit was just plain fun: Jordan gets up to go puke in the bathroom. HEH!! This is at the same time Aunt Stella finds the PG test at her house. Portia confronts her and Jordan just sits there. My theory on this? Based on Monday's snippet about 'are you terminating the pregnancy"--I think she will keep the baby but lose it down the road. This sets up major angst when Portia does give birth to a perfectly healthy baby. I don't think Jordan will go full term.

OH MOLLY:  Over at the most boring 'renovation' on the planet, Molly is experiencing a flare up with her endometriosis. I frankly had forgotten about it but I guess it's about the time to trot it out so that there can be strife for her and Cody. Does he want children? Yada yada. I actually appreciate having a true medical thing going on during the show. So there's that.

SWING AND A MISS: Well, another clue that Nathan might not be Nathan is when he wiffed during baseball practice. Nathan was a great ball player and suddenly.. misses? DUN DUN DUN. Now, does he KNOW he's not Nathan...or... thinks he's really Nathan ...or is he REALLY Nathan but implanted with some weird glitch. We've seen mind-bending before, haven't we?

THE GOODBYE TOUR: Jason and Britt use that cabin thing like they own it, don't they? They tell Lucas they are leaving for Canada and are having Brick (not Brad?) find the formula for her injections. Lucas promises that Marco will get into the safe soon. This sets up Jason having to tell Michael to 'watch out for Danny' while he's gone...and I might be wrong but I didn't hear him name a guardian? I'm assuming it's Michael. Then he has to go confront Valentin to make sure Carly's all safe and sound. His goodbye to Carly was right out of a gothic novel. Pain, angst, longing and.. everything but the zex.

SPY VS SPY: Valentin goes over the Joss' apartment and holds her at gunpoint with her own gun. I want to say something about Joss and the WSB. Since Brennan "Burned her files" and told her to go back to college, what's Carly going to do when she finds out she has no quest to save her daughter? Seems so strange that they did this and it's just...over anyway. Could be everything is messed up due to both Finola and Steve taking 'breaks'. Either way, after the Brennan scenes with her I'm sensing that he and Val will work together to bring down Cullum and Jack will be more of a 'good guy' than the baddie.

OTHER HAPPENINGS:

Stella buys Jordan a huge air fryer as a housewarming gift.

Charlotte is interning at Crimson

Gio teaches Emma the guitar

Sonny gave Gio life advice and Gio is going to take one college class this summer

Fizz bites Dante, giving Dante and Liz more airtime

Charlotte overhears Nina and Brennan; she knows Willow shot Drew

Kristina has Michael "pull some strings" to get her liquor license renewed faster

Britt says "goodbye" to Danny and she bonds with Lucas in the breakroom.

WUBS THEORY:  Nathan had a whole other life for 7 years.  Delilah was out searching for him and somehow wound up in Port Charles. That's his baby. He'll flash back to her tattoo at some point or he'll have the same one where he can't see it from the front or something. Nathan is suffering from true amnesia.  On the socials, people are more focused on her being tied to Ethan who's coming back on campus soon. Hmmm.. Could be? Either way, we know there will be baby angst all around.

RUMOR HAS IT:  It's come to our attention that with everyone taking GH breaks, Outback (real name Bailey B. Beagle) is seriously considering other parts on networks such as Animal Planet and also special TikTok appearances.

WUBSY SPEAKS: So it's obvious at this point things really shifted because of Burton's break. Don't be fooled; it was a surprise and it did change the story arc. Same when Finola left. Shift Shift Shift. Now, supposedly Steve is coming back in the summer (probably end of August) but who knows. No intel on what's up with Finola. Nada.

Charlie's is so dull now, I'm so disappointed. We have enough upscale 'bistro' looking places. A blues club is what's needed. Yeah, I care about the sets!

The pacing on the show has been thrown to the wolves. It took a whole week to get back to the Jordan and baby stories. That's not the way to keep the interest up. It also seems like they just don't quite know what to do with the younger set. Not having Spinelli around during all the Nathan angst was a poor choice. Having Brick to the lab work instead of having Brad involved? Another poor choice. Stella is loved but she pops up to just cause Curtis grief. We can see how Gio and Trina are going to be performing at Charlie's and I'm not real hopeful about that. (that's just not for me). I miss Oliva. No idea what's going on with the Cold Fusion story or how Britt is supposed to leave with Jason if KTh is still staying on the show. I guess that will be a snafu that happens. The Drew "story" is moving at a glacial rate and I hope they all just go to DC.

I'm honestly hoping things thread together better because it's a tough watch right now, especially the Sidwell/Cullum/Brennan bits.

THAT'S ALL I HAVE for you!! Hope you had a good week and spring is already upon  you where you live. Looks like we are doomed for awhile longer.

CHEERS!
