It’s time for a different kind of filler. I know Karen will be taking time off (It’s spring, those hair appointments can't wait). So I am going to come up with a few questions/topics to test her knowledge and see if she knows any rumors, or if she just has her own speculation as to what will eventually happen.
1. Eden McCoy (Josslyn) was rumored to be leaving the show a few months ago. Is that still a possibility (or rather a jossibility?) I heard recast.
"JOSSIBILITY"!! I love it... but alas nothing else has been in the rumor mill that I've heard about her leaving. It could be they reached an agreement to work around her schedule. Not sure if they'd recast-- she's grown up on the show. "Joss" always has an out though; her father is still in Australia so she can always go visit for an extended period of time.
2. Lucas lost Marco, who, in all honesty, was a brief romance at best. How long will he stay single? Back to Brad? Maybe the new character Joe Fitzy will be brought in the fill the void?
From what I've read, most people think that the new guy will be for Lucas. I'm speculating he'll be Jordan's plastic surgeon.
3, Is there really a storyline for Ethan?
You are stumping me with these!! After watching him with Maurice on his YouTube show, I think there may be... They could be going for the Kristina 'crush' she had long ago. I'm also wondering if he'll have a hand in 'saving' Anna or be tangled in that mess. Nathan is also on contract now for at least 3 months so--yes.
4, Cassius is going nowhere. The storyline is DOA. (Dave's opinion) Can it be saved?
It took SO SO long to get things rolling and they didn't really even build up to it. There were a few, very scant hints he might not be Nathan but so many missed opportunities to have him doing creepy stuff. I have a feeling the whole Cold-Fusion thing might not be wrapped up until Burton gets back so he'll be around for awhile at least. Can it be saved? Depends on how it shakes out with Lulu. Will they have fans for the couple? Will he end up being the 'hero' in the Cullum department?
5. Chris Mckenna was also rumored to be leaving, and yet he seems to be sticking around
I don't see him going just because he's VERY well liked on set, has great rapport with the fans and Frank really digs him as well. We need a WSB tie-in and I think he will be it for awhile.
6. So many rumors about the swap of Willow with Chase and then Brooke with Dante. But the chem testing didn't seem to happen. What gives?
Oh I think it's coming. Willow's going to get obsessed with Chase and then the traps will be set! He's not the brightest bulb in the box so... easily manipulated. Not sure about Dante and Brook. I hope they pair him with Elizabeth and Ric is back with Ava.
7. What storyline do you know of that had a 100% go ahead but was killed behind the scenes by one of the actors?
You think I can tell you that!!?? LOL... I know more of GREEN-lighting of stories because of actors btw. Case in point? SonnyADA. The other story that was going to evolve was Tracey and Martin but MEK took his leave (and I think he'll be back but just temp like he has been doing).
8. Will there be a Nurses Ball this year?
They did mention it during the Charlie's open mic night so.. hopefully in May? That's when it was last year.
9. Tristan and Denise. I know they will eventually give a wonderful tribute, in only the way GH knows how to both those performers. Do we have dates yet?
No, but with Ethan in town I don't think that the Robert one will be far away. I was waiting for him to tell Lulu that Robert had been ill while he was in France, but it didn't happen. Also: Keep an eye on Emma Samm's socials. She usually dishes if she's coming back for a bit.
The character or Leslie is trickier. Monica's gone, most of Laura's family is MIA so who's left to really mourn her? Tracey wasn't close and all of the other characters in that circle are moot at this point. That leaves mainly Laura and Lulu.
10. What other gossip and tidbits do you know of coming up for the summer?
I don't think Rick Hearst is going anywhere, which is good news!! I also hear that 'Kevin' and Ace could have a visit. It's rumored Cameron is also popping in and perhaps Lois. Short term 'cameo' type things though. Portia and Curtis baby will be born and we know where that will lead! Hat Daddy will show up to coo and aww.
At least one more death is coming if not two.
