Tough week for GH Fans. Tony's passing certainly cast a pall over the the show. I found myself thinking more about the nostalgia of things that what is happening now. BUT! We do have a week to review but I'm keeping it pretty brief and hitting the most important parts.
Grab some toast and java and let's go go!
COMMUNITY SERVICE: Like Cameron, Rocco is getting community service. Cue the park pick-up and working with kids or oldies. Still that simmering resentment going on with him over Dante not letting him see Gio. Gio convinces Dante to take a chance and let them talk.
MONA LISA: Pascal speaks French! Anna speaks French!! My CC speaks French!! What did we get this week? Well, Anna's given a book by PK Sinclair; aka Faison. He wrote it back in the day and the heroine's name? Anna Devane. DUN DUN DUN!!
JUDGEAND JURY: Oh court was a bit of fu this week. A bunch of people testified but the ball of wax is that Willow was TRAINED in firearms as part of her cult membership. Also, the evidence tape of her driving to Drew's was erased by WSB guy, Jack Brennan. Shortest prosecution case ever!! (they rested already!!??) Still, Willow looks pretty bad in this so far!
CARLY AND VAL: He's in the attic but makes frequent trips downstairs to bug Carly. Thank goodness she closes the blinds. He lets her in on the skivvy about how duplicitous Jack can be. She realizes she's been used and although he might wub her, he's still go the goods to send her away. Plus, she also is going to realize HE is the one that got rid of the tape that could have sealed Willow's fate.
OLIVER AND HARDY: Yep, I need some good slap-stick in my life and thank GOD Brad is back. I know, I know, this due isn't everyone's cup of tea but too bad!! They are just so fun. I love how Britt just spilled everything to him from The Five Poppies to her work in the lab and to Lucas being in danger on Spoon Island. Then, after all that, they couldn't pay. I guess in PC that's a big one because a Detective from the PCPD was sent to get them. Geesh!!
HALLMARK CABIN IN THE WOODS: Yep, I'm bringing it up again. The cabin, the chess set...the quilts. I was shocked Isaiah didn't bring Portia hot chocolate. She's still waiting for that DNA test. Meanwhile, Curtis is getting matching Daddy-Kid clothes in multiple sizes and probably building a nursery to boot.
THE BOXES: I guess the last thing I want to mention are the Q boxes that Drew stole. It has to do with Tracey calling Martin and then someone listening to her and Michael at the backdoor. She was saying she saw Michael at Drew's that night. Now we all know, that will be introduced at trial soon, right? How many times can this flip around??
BEST SCENE (for me): Brad and Lucas meet after being apart. Loved it. I thought VH and PS did a great job and yes, there is sure chemistry there. Pic thx to Sloan Rush, BSky
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Charlotte spilled to Nina that Valentin was in touch with her
Nina says she'll work with Brennan if he erases the footage of Willow
Liz' eye mites must be cured?
Continued Nathan and Lulu chem test
Joss spills WSB secrets to Jason
Carly gets a necklace from Jack
That's it!! You think we'll see Kevin again? I feel like Professor Dalton's murder is going to end up like that Judge's...we won't hear about it (other than Laura's angst) for awhile.
CHEERS!
Are those shoulder pads? They are bigger than Trina. I LOVED them "back in the day"
ReplyDeleteGreat SS and happy holidays to all! I have been really fascinated watching Willow. The actress has been so good showing discomfort, worries and everything else so silently and still. Not getting any chemistry with Lulu and Nathan. Love Brad and Britt!! I like Carly and Val working together but please no romantic pairing. Obviously they see she doesn’t work well with Jack and are trying to get out of it.
ReplyDeleteLindaV
Thanks for another great SS! It was a rough week.
ReplyDeleteI will start by saying that GH is a big old grinch. No Christmas at all. They have departed from reality almost completely. Definitely thinking of Christmases past in PC. Alan, Monica and all the children. Sad.
Willow, Michael, Willow, Michael, Curtis, Willow, Michael...alright already. Going out on that limb saying I still don't think it's any of them.
Brad and Britt and anyone is all I'm enjoying right now.
Was nice seeing JL on GH and BTG on the same day. Speaking of BTG...they are festive and fun and in the holiday spirit.
