My first day of back to work!! Yep... it's that time of year again...buses and kids and all that entails. Summer kind of flew by, didn't it?
TODAY'S SHOW:
The FIVE POPPIES room: yada yada... Vaughn and Joss. They hold a knife to her--they give them water. They yell. Stupid.
Britt skulks around. Britt hears them yelling. Then she walks in. Tells them to fend for themselves. Then PJ guy catches Britt walking out. She acts all mad that he failed and kidnapped some tourists. She comes back later and gives Joss scissors.
Jason at the airport, calling someone saying they'll be home soon. Flashback to convo with Britt. Oh, another flashback. OH ANOTHER ONE! His plane starts to board.
Brennan and Colette talk about the mission. She thinks it needs to be called off. She wants to go there. Then Carly walks in. "I've made a huge mistake as far as Drew goes". It's the WEIRDEST CONVO EVER... she wants him to tell her he's a good guy, not hiding anything hahaha. He reassures her and they kiss.
Lucas can't find Willow. Liz says she walked out of her shift. Then she walks in all wet. Chase tells her Drew was shot and it's bad. She faints. Chase tries to calm her down.
Anna and Chase in the GH hallway. He says he thinks Drew might have killed the judge. They discuss why he'd want her dead.
Re-do of the whole shooting sequence. Drew is down. Kai and Tri are in the bedroom. She wants to get help, he says wait a minute. He won't let her help. Drew does still have a pulse. A car pulls up. Kai opens the door with his hoodie hand. Tri runs. Kai runs. Tracey comes in and finds him and calls 911. Anna and Dante come in and won't let Tracey go to GH just yet. Anna questions Tracey. OH! Scout is at SLEEP OVER CAMP ahahha. Um, okay. Tracey tells them she was there to talk sense into Drew.
Kai and Trina talk about stuff at her apartment. She can't believe she left Drew there. Oh, Kai got the evidence against Portia from the safe.
Michael comes into the Q kitchen and he's all wet. They try to console Wiley who had a nightmare. Talk about Willow. Yada yada.
In a COMPLETE INSERTION, Portia is IN BED with Isaiah at The Metro (we never saw this?? ) and gets a call to go to the hospital. She goes and finds out about Drew.
Drew is in the ICU with Lucas and Elizabeth. They schedule an operating room.
END:
Britt tries to call Jason on the burner as he gets on the plane. She gets through but he can't hear her. The PJ guy catches her.
Vaughn and Joss jump the bald goon.
Portia says she's going to scrub up to operate on Drew
Lucas says Drew might be paralyzed
I haven't watched yet but needed to comment on how far Portia took her "no regrets". And I'm sure when Curtis finds out she'll tell him it was his fault, never hers.
ReplyDeleteShe’s so much like Willow in this pattern. And she keeps on making the same mistakes over and over. She cheated on Taggert with Curtis because she felt neglected and Trina was born. She cheated on Curtis with Dr what’s his face because she again felt neglected.
DeleteHow many people would have access to a gun that size, especially if not very pre meditated. Kai will probably be the first to be arrested. Looked like a pro shooting to me.

----I am flat-out mad that Head Nurse Elizabeth Webber has NOT fired Willow yet. I mean come on......I kinda wish Willow would accidentally kill a patient and LIZ is fired.....ridiculous.
ReplyDelete------I am flat-out mad that Carly instead of being worried about Michael/Drew custody, she is afraid she shouldn't trust Brennan? I KNOW it's the set-up for the fall though. although she doesn't know about the judge yet.

------I really think Portia just got there with Isaiah and at some point he will say 'where were you early" but but allowing PORTIA to operate on Drew - are you kidding?

Observations: that was not a professional hit, bc if so that second shot woulda been in the head, instead looked abt heart level and lower back.

I don't consider Portia to have an alibi, def seems she just arrived for an arranged encounter.
If it was willow she woulda framed someone, Michael or nina I guess. So if clues point to one of them I def suspect willow. I don't think anyone else wld plant evidence or cover their tracks that well.
Really hope this spy story is abt to end even if it means super Jason saves the day.
Flutterby, I was thinking the same thing about the second shot. If it was Sonny or one of his men; or Sidwell cookie, the second shot would have been to the head.

Collette and Brennan: She is so desperate!!! Careful you might get caught and then you will die.
Carly and Brennan: 13 year old Carly is so skeered!!! What the hell was this scene?! ROFL! I'm glad Brennan didn't promise not to hurt her. Nobody can promise that! I can't wait until Carly learns the truth and then turns into Cujo and tears Brennan to shreds!!!
Metrocourt hotel room:
Gannon and Portia: What the hell?!!??!! What was that?! Where did that come from?! The only good thing in this scene was Gannon shirtless. ;)
The hospital:
Lucas and Liz: Whatever happened to the foot surgery or consult? Is the foot okay?!

I would have paid big money for Tracy to walk out and not help The Toad. Then Nina/Portia walk in and turn around and walk out and not help The Toad. I wish all of Port Chuckles had walked in and not helped The Toad. Just sayin'.

I could care less about the 5 Poppies debacle. It's worse than Sidwell Cookie/Lucky poker games.
Finally, from a few days ago, I just loved the conversations between Molly and Michael. Am I wrong that they should hookup? They both need a partner and so do Liz and Dante. Love in the afternoon is getting pretty skimpy.
Portia keeps making one bad decision after another. Her going to scrub in and assist the surgery of a man she hates shows she has impulse control issues.
