Vintage GH-O-Ween!!

First off, I watched 30 min of yesterday's GH -- and LOVED Britt!! What fun. Talk about comic relief. She was just dropping bombs all over-- and Lulu with the Margaritas!! I loved it when she said "Kind of hard to picture her and Faison together!! 

You know Mary Pat's not long for this world..not with that hook coming at her. Carly's DNA is probs all over that lady! 

I can't believe I'm going to miss today but it's the end of the month, Halloweenie AND my kid is moving Thursday. It's apparently also time for my first stupid HEAD COLD for the season. Late in the game for me, but bad, bad timing!! 

OH!! "Dante" is back.... DZ tweeted this yesterday-- will he give Lulu the KISS OFF? Or is it going to be a good visit? Maybe they are filming Thanksgiving?

Comic Relief

Send in the Clowns...

It seems like every GH generation has had one. Sometimes two. And that is the Comic Relief character. It’s the character that breezes in a scene, acts kinda goofy, steals the scene and then breezes out. When compiling this list, I noticed a pattern of the characters. Most of them (not all of them) possessed a vulnerability of loneliness. Sure, some of them did have a significant other in their lives, but there seemed to be an air of loneliness among them. Was there any subtext that the comedy was a mask for tragedy? (get it - comedy and tragedy masks in theatre?) One thing that rang true throughout all of them was that the comic relief character always had the biggest heart on the scene. There was always an unconditional love with the people in their orbit. To paraphrase Stella Dallas, these characters “gave and gave and gave until they couldn't give no more” (I think it was her who said that. If not, someone did and it was a great line)

Comic Relief characters, although written as such, are sometimes unintentional. Amy Vining and Lucy Coe are not your typical CR characters in the same vein as Spinelli. But both of them, in their moments of hyperactivity, displayed a lunacy that was all their own and brought new life to their character and the scene.

With Karen’s help, I came up with 9 characters that I feel could be listed as Comic Relief. I am sure you will agree with many of these. And probably debate a few as well. But the beauty of the Wub Tub Time Machine is that YOU get to comment and discuss and contribute to the blog. So, if you have some comments on today’s blog, please share with the group and let’s all look back together.

PS. As lists are subjective, these are NOT in any order. And is it a coincidence that Lucy Coe is tied to so many of these characters?

Margarita Night at Floating Rib!!

Sam and Jason.. "talk" to each other while "talking to the camera" in their heads. WEIRD SHIT And come on...SAM HAS DEAD CLUMPS OF MOSS on her coffee table? WITH TODDLERS..or however freaking old her kids are?? COME ON. Jason wants Sam to be honest with Danny about his past. 
Instead of saying "Sonny murdered a guy on orders at 18" JaSam basically said he deserved it. They read Janette's letters, she's the one that asked Scully to kill Mr. Marino..so now she's incriminated in ordering the hit. 

Curtis and Jordan trying to do the seating chart. Blah blah..blah. 

Sonny talking to Michael about stuff and Margot walks in. Sonny's like "she's out to get my head"... Sounded kinky. 

Kevin finds out Laura went to Ferncliff, he's pissed..he's off to get there and Stella stops him in the hall to yell at him. AHHAAA.

Laura and Carly at Ferncliff, demand to see the "Patient" They say he's not in there--but Kevin's laying right under the door so they can't see him. They go into Carly's old room. She starts tapping SOS on the wall...Kevin stirs.  Mary Pat stops. Carly and she trade jabs. Mary Pat says "you don't know everything"... and then Ryan runs in 'What on Earth are you doing here"???  He yells at Carly and Laura.  They leave just as Kevin wakes up. 

Finn and Anna go to jail to see Britt. They stand there and talk to each other for half the show.BRITT IS IN Fine Form!! LOL... "Ooooooo, Dr. Finn, why don't you come here and give me a physical".  Anna says she can arrange a meeting at the Metro for Britt to meet Peter. Probs to get Dr. O out of the shadows.  

BEST PART OF THE SHOW: DA CHICK reminds Michael Sonny killed his father too!!  Michael says "WELL BIG EXTENUATING CIRCUMSTANCES RIGHT THERE"! Pffffffffft. 

I think Ryan will kill Mary Pat. 

Sunday Surgery: Pick My Brain

Getting ready to terrorize!!

Did much move this week? Off the top of my head I'd say--no. Anna's back and.... um... Carly and Laura went to Ferncliff. That's all I have. Let's see what happens when I dig into the photos. Maybe something will spark my memory. 

I think it may be time for Dave to step in with one of his Wub Tub Time Machine posts this week? I can't believe I'll probably miss a murder (or so the promos suggest)-- because it's Halloween, the end of the month and my son is moving to his apartment. Dang, real life just swoops in!! 

Should we just eat candy corn today? Yes, I like it. My Mom LOVES it--and would buy bags and store them until they got stale (that's how she likes them...) I guess it's a child hood thing. I would bite off the yellow part and give the rest to my little brother!! LOL. 

Day FOUR

Franco and Liz are talking about helping Aiden at school by doing a volcano project with him in front of the class.  Liz "he's sensitive"... Franco "He's weird, and I celebrate weird"!! 

Laura and Carly going to Ferncliff.together..Laura isn't telling Kevin because he's too busy Laura makes Carly watchable!! Seriously. I hope to hell they don't get Jason or Sonny involved in this Kevin rescue. Let the ladies do it. 

They go to Ferncliff... they see mean Nurse-- she was fired

OMG... We are BACK AT THE METRO. Can't they move Sasha's scenes ANYWHERE ELSE? Seriously? It's DAY FOUR of different scenes. She's asking Kiki about Griffin. Ava is there too. She runs right into Griffin who was taking a phone call. 

Kiki's giving Sasha a room. 

Kiki and Griff leave, Ava introduces herself. Tells her she used to go out with Griffin. LOL

Sam and Spin go to see Janette Marino, Margo's mother-- who's nice... but Sam is acting really pissy and not in a 'good caper way"..?? They are pretending to be insurance adjusters. It's falling flat as a pancake.  They are trying to see if Janette knew her husband was killed and when.  Sam finds old love letters she steals. 

Lulu's going to "Kevin" to talk about "Ryan". It ends up being deep and about Sociopaths. 

Kiki goes to see Liz and gives her a RBG doll to say thank you for her help. 

AND............NEWS interrupting. SO... see you on Sunday. I hope--my parents are coming up and who knows

Charlie's....Sonny, Margo-go and Krissy. Sonny tells her who Margot is...Krissy makes her go sit at the table.  Sonny and Krissy talk, he supports her. Reminds her he wants to give her a good birthday in a couple of weeks. 

Spin is back. He's so happy JaSam are "dating" or whatever the hell they are doing. He found out that Margo's mother didn't cash in the insurance policy when her husband went missing.  Sonny comes over eventually. Spinelli says that the insurance company is now opening up an investigation into Marino's death. 

Apparently, Nina can't meet Sasha anywhere but the Metro Cafe/Restaurant. She gives her an amethyest...her birthstone. Maxie sits down...and asks Sasha if SHE has any mental health issues. LOL Sasha says no...but I bet she ends up crazy. Sasha is a 'temp' and Nina convinces her to "temp' in PC. Sounds like Nelle's "teaching job". 

Anna's home, is in Finn's room. I guess it's a surprise. Very cute banter and then then they have sex.  She didn't find Dr. O and decided to come home because she missed Finn. 

Oscar signed up with at "roommate service" to find somewhere to live. Julian comes in. Oscar is like "DID MY MOM SEND YOU"!! Julian says to cool it, he still has a job-- and Oscar leaves. 
AND...Ok, I'm saying it. JULEXIS should be a couple. Damn it. STUPID writing and the whole murder thing but I'm just going to forget it-- yep..NLG and WDV are THAT good. Ugh. WHY doing this to me.  Get him outta that flannel shirt tho.  Alexis thinks that she can help Oscar get to the conclusion  himself. 

Oscar finds out that rent is SO expensive...the girl that passed out fliers for a band..
Daisy, that's her name-- she tells Krissy she has something that can 'take her mind off her problems" A bonfire on the beach.
She also says she can help Oscar find a place to live. She says it's a "place where a bunch of people come and live together, pay what they can and do chores." SUCH a CULT!! She's totally a cult or commune person.

Peter is shopping with Maxie for a costume for James. GROSS.  Just trade Spinelli for Peter. I won't care. 


OH! Britt will be on next week. I can't wait to see she and Sasha stand next to each other. 

Dinner Anyone?

So, it's Thursday and I thought we'd visit more of Soaps Past. Here's a YouTube video of The Goal Post in?? PINE VALLEY!! Tom Cudahy ran it, remember?  Tom, the ex-football player came to the PA town in 1977 to open his restaurant. All sorts of things happened but the biggest one was him marrying Erica Kane. Tom was Catholic....Erica was not.  He wanted kids. Erica wanted her modeling career. She tricked him into thinking she wanted children until...HE FOUND her HIDDEN BIRTH CONTROL PILLS. BOOM! Giant moment. GIANT!! 

I keep going back to AMC because it's the first soap I watched on the regular. When I started GH there was The Floating Rib and the cafeteria at the hospital.  Kelly's is the most famous--and Ruby's Chili! 

What were some of the hang outs on the rest of the channels? I still say we need a pizza shop or Panera type place. I'm sick of coffee shops!!

Laura with Alexis talking about running for Mayor--or contesting it or something. 

Olivia with a BIG ASS'D Leo at the PUB. Talking about canvassing for Nedly and being a Mayor's wife.  I know they have a kid together but it feels so rando when they talk. She's never on. UGH

Cam letting Oscar crash at this house? HUH? isn't Oscar mad about the Joss thing?? I guess he's not mad but had no where else to go

Carly's talking to Liz about Cam and Josslyn. She wants she and Liz to be on the same page as she is. I missed the rest. 

Diane tells Drew that Oscar can't sue for Emancipation in NYS but he can sue to direct his own medical treatments.



Drew tells Curtis he can't be his best man. Drew says it's for privacy sake. Curtis says I've got your back. Drew says Oscar is sick, he may not make it. 

Kim is at Sam's asking her to help with Oscar.  Kimmy wants Sam to help her with Oscar deciding not to do the trial. She says Alexis is helping him with this. Sam says she can't talk her mom out of anything but knows someone who might be able to. 


SET NOTE: Sam's PH is just --UGH. You have 2 young kids and you don't have some old dead branch on the mantel and some boring contemporary painting. You have family photos and Fall/Halloween decorations. YES EVEN IF YOU'RE SAM.



AND WE GOT interrupted by POTUS.  And MRS. POTUS.

Drew goes to see Alexis with Diane. They get into it. Alexis says she wants to help Oscar by giving him some power over the situation. Says if Scotty Baldwin takes the case, he'll make it a circus. Drew doesn't care. Alexis says she hopes Drew wins the case. Billy Miller was great in this scene. 

Olivia invites Laura to the Ball and Laura declines. Olivia thinks she's still mad about the election and doesn't know Laura is running. 

Jules gives Oscar a job as long as he stays in school. Kim is mad because it shows Oscar can take care of himself. 

Laura and Carly are going to tour Ferncliff. Carly told her about her time there-- and Laura wants to investigate. Carly says there's a patient there she thinks is in trouble.. (SOS guy). Oh Ok, I can take Laura and Carly teaming up. 

Spinelli is on tomorrow. 

Activity Tuesday!

It's Tuesday and I'll be out-- (as I will Thursday!!) So, it's activity today. Put your heads together to work on some soapy  questions. 

What was your first character crush? Mine was the first  Phil Brent from AMC. (Richard Hatch). Although we went on to more fame in Battle Star Galactica ...he remained "my Phil" forever!! He and Tara were deeply in love, planning to get married when he had to be shipped off to Vietnam. So real back then. They were the first to "marry themselves" in a little church before he left. (recreated by Liz and Lucky of GH) and made love. What happened a few years later? HE was alive!! Yep, the first 'back from the dead" story I remember too. 
When AMC premiered I was in elementary school and so ready for some TEEN ANGST on soaps!! I saw the first episode in Patty Andolina's basement. LOL..Crazy the stuff you remember. AMC was my mom and my soap for years. It was on right after lunch and we'd catch it during holidays and in the summer. 

That's my Pine Valley adventure in a nutshell!! BTW, Tara was played by Karen Lynn Gorney. I loved her. Not only because we shared a first and middle name but because she was in between the "good girl" and... well Erica Kane LOL Then she went to star in Saturday Night Fever and my world was so happy! 

PS My TV was black and white then as well! I had to go to our neighbors, the Tomkins to watch Christmas shows and things like Cinderella (Stuart Damon!!). Rough childhood lol

Cuervo in the Park

I'm convinced that Oscar is living in that damn park. 



It's Charlie's Pub today.. Drew, Julian, Alexis... Kimmy are all there.  Alexis tries to get Krissy to get a job as an Actuary...boring. Krissy gets all pissy. 

Drew is meeting Oscar for lunch on his Bday. Kim is going to stay. Oscar comes in after seeing Joss at the park and is all mopey with attitude.  They argue...Oscar gets mad at Drew because he had medical treatment HE didn't want. (like it's the same? LOL)...he leaves.

Ryan is putting off Laura. This is not good--a psychopath is a psychopath. JUST DO IT UP.  Scotty comes over, tells Ryan he interviewed for an anniversary article about Ryan Chamberlain. He represented Felicia in court. Ryan gets pissy, storms off. Laura asks Scotty out for a drink. Scott says that when Kevin was with Lucy years ago he left for a long time to tend to a patient. Which is true--that did happen. I bet they'll say it was Ryan! 

OMG So, Carly dreams about Kevin/Ryan tapping Morris Code on the table...then thinks about the hospital where someone was tapping it out. Then she sees Ryan/Kevin in a straight jacket.  Wakes up all shaken

Mike comes back from daycare--Stella is with him. Carly's afraid to put him into long term care because of her time in Ferncliff. Stella assures her that memory care is NOT like Ferncliff. 

Ryan is seeing Alexis for therapy. He's trying to figure out how to treat her based on Kevin's notes.  Asks about Mekkos. She talks about having to give up her baby when she was 17. 
Which later, prompts her to take Oscar's case because she thinks he should decide his medical fate. 

Kristina calls Parker--and Parker is at a mixer. Kristina gets all upset and when Julian tells her she can go home, she steals a tequila bottle and goes into the PARK and chugs it on a bench! LOL Like in the open, in the day!! Since when did she care about Parker??????? Huh??

Best scene was the bicycle scene with Sonny and Mike. Very good.

This week was especially tough for me because although I mostly had the time to watch, I'd usually turn off the show at it's midpoint. Something no one who's writing a blog and recapping should do. Alas, I did --because I simply had other things I would rather be doing. Having people take an hour out of their afternoons anymore requires a hell of a lot more than well, what I'm seeing lately. Thursday's show was a good one so I'll be happy with that. 

And, since I visited Niagara Falls Canada yesterday, we are all having Tim Horton's coffee and breakfast sammies. Enjoy! 

I love Stella

Stella sees Michael looking at the babies in the nursery. She really could be a Mona or a Myrtle..I like her character. (Or a Ruby...although No one could be a Ruby if you know what I mean). They talk about grief and holding on to anger-- Stella with Jordan and Michael with Nelle. 



PETER is near Maxie and the baby. GET AWAY FROM THE BABY!!  Maxie gasps... (see below) 

Curtis/TJ and Jordan. TJ should be at GH doing his medical training ...come on!!! They bitch about the wedding and Stella not coming. 

Sonny and Jason...blah blah...Marino. Sam took over the case from Spinelli because he's on a vacation with Ellie and Georgie. She's doing it without Curtis. She went to the library because the net has not a lot on Marino. Sam and Jason talk about working together. Oh! Sam found a photo of an old parish christmas card at the library and Margot's mom was having an affair with SCULLY! I like the library detail--that was done well.  

Drew and DA Lady talking about taking Sonny down. Drew is like "Why shouldn't I go to the cops"?? She tries to convince him but he says No Dice. 

All of a sudden, Maxie runs into GH with Peter and James--bumps into Michael who's leaving--and says "James has a rash"!! Is he breathing ok?? Michael goes: Um, I'm not a doctor. LOL. WEIRD. Anyway it's not a rash; his PANTS were too tight!! LMAO. he is a big kid. 

TJ goes to talk to Stella about coming to the wedding. 

Thursday Do Your Own Thing Day

Everyone has a day to do whatever they want! It's Wubby Hubby's birthday--and I work late as it is so ...no GH today!! 
Not that I'll miss it (hate to say)... Wow, this is a "lull' right now or what?  EESH. I really don't care about Sasha and well, we all know what I think of Peter.  The Ryan/Kevin show is good but predictable (he goes and talks to Kevin... "wife" comes home...Felicia is around now and then). My one shining light? Ava and Ryan. Don't ask me why--other than I love the possibility of two twisted individuals getting together. That and Kiki might die!! 

Ok, so in the spirit of Do you Own thing.. I'm going to present one character that was featured for awhile, then quickly forgotten because she had no ties to town. Anyone remember: 

V?? Or Venus --as we found out her real name was?? Lisa Cerasoli played her and I just loved the character. She was fun and spunky -- Chloe and Ned try to set him up with Simon. She was also involved with Jax. Here's a cute clip:

Park Side Birthday

Laura sees Lulu on the net with Peter at the film fest. She wonders what's going on. Lulu's like: It's WORK, MA. Laura says "Make sure Dante knows you miss him". 

Spencer and Sonny....he knows Mike has Alzheimer's. Then he leaves... then Josslyn comes in. He saw on Social Media that she and Oscar broke up. I guess we will see Spencer with the "Grown" kids--still not being grown. Which I guess is ok by me. 
Josslyn: "Well, you haven't changed a bit".... Spencer "Well, you've gotten way taller" LOL 
He gave her a map of Paris...where he'd like to take her. 

It's Oscar's Bday, he's moping in the park. Cam comes around. He wants to quit the whole thing. OMG Oscar says he'll miss getting ice cream and going to the movies and COULD THIS BE ANYMORE BORING? This is SO DISNEY. I'm sorry but...angst is best served with Teens. As is Raw emotion.

Drew asks Peter "if I get my memories back, will I forget these last 5 years"??  Peter says I just dropped you guys off but probably.  Drew thinks he will forget too--and would forget Sam and Scout and Oscar...yada yada. 

Nina and Maxie. Nina's waiting to meet Sasha. She's afraid she won't come. 

Valentin wants to talk to Sasha. Shasha is like, I'm leaving..BYE. Val pleads Nina's case. Maxie overhears. Valentin pleads Nina's case. Maxie is all "awwwwww" in the shadows, thinks Val is being SO nice. After talking to Val, Sasha goes in to see Nina. Apparently, Valentin just said whatever magic words there was to say.

Port Charles International Film Fest! We have Nina/Maxie, Kiki /Griffin and Peter Lulu.  Maxie is totally jelly of Lulu and Peter. Geesh.



Sam and Drew at Sam's, he needs to talk to her. She said she'll always help him.

Spencer is in town. Laura is made he left school..again.

Too Old for Dolls

Laura makes dinner for Ryan... and has on a nice outfit for once...I loved her leopard cami.. Ryan knew all about the wedding/Leslie coming and the blizzard. She wants to dance. HE gives her a  "LOOK"...she says "what have you done with my husband" . He makes up an excuse he has to leave. 
Charlotte visits Gram with Lulu. She gets a doll but says she's too old. Luckily, Laura brought her a book too. Some french thing.  Lulu whines about Dante

Ryan and Kevin together in Ferncliff.  Good stuff.  He makes Kevin think he's sleeping with Laura lol. 

Drew and Franco talking on the docks about Harvey.. and making them swim. They talk about Oscar. Drew wants to get his memories back to help Oscar.  He tells Franco that he would have to turn in Jason and Sonny to get them back. "Would you do it"?? He asks. WHY the hell wouldn't Drew just go to the WSB and say: "Um, DA chick has my memories on a stick"?? 



Jason finds out that Marino was really 'dirty"... like that should matter.  He bought a house in the Hamptons. Jason wants to know why Scully picked a kid to kill Marino. 

Courthouse. Nelle messes up and says to the baby "You've grown a lot since I last saw you"..Carly jumps in: HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW THAT?  huh?? Nelle says she saw it on the internet. Then Carly gets mad she gets computer access in jail!! ahahahaa.  So Nelle pleaded no contest. Gets the max. 

Liz and Sam (I still would love them as a couple). ..Liz wants to talk about Drew.  She says that Oscar is pulling away from his friends yada yada.. and Drew is upset. Then Sam says Drew came over when Jason was there. Liz does NOT approve. Sam says none of your biz. Liz says that people get trampled. They argue. Liz wants to get along for "Drew's sake".  They are going to make amends to do that.

Sunday Surgery: Memory Game

Yet another thrilling week....

Are you sick of my blogs yet? I noticed the other day I've made over 4500 posts. Yep-- 4500.  Going all the way back to 2009. That's a hell of a lot of Sunday Surgeries!!  Forgive me if I get rather--redundant at times.  You all know that I love the show. You all know I think the acting is top notch. You all know I've learned a hell of a lot how the writing, pacing and tempo can be affected by management.  That doesn't make any of this any easier.  So let's go.

Court Date

Friday! I'm here for once!! I may not last the whole show because I slept about 3 hours last night.

I'm steaming some fun shows now to soothe my soul. I think I told you I'm caught up on "The Good Place". I just got into "Dead Like Me" --which apparently, I missed in the early 80's??  I love it! 

Michael and Carly in court. Nelle is there ...WITH super blonde hair!! LOL..seriously? Hightlights in Jail?  Nelle taunts Michael about Jonah's death. Michael says 'you mean nothing to me" Nelle says "I know something you don't and when I tell you it will change everything". 
Chase shows up too. Bitches at her--just like Carly. 

KELLY'S; Outside: Krissy, Sam and Alexis. Molly did well on her GRE's Kristina isn't impressed. She asks Sam about Jason. Brad comes along with the baby and WOW--but Krissy looks sick when she sees it and leaves quick. ANVIL? Sure looked like one. Did anyone else see that!!?? 
Brad has Nelle giving him Wylie flashbacks. 

Inside: Chase and Jordan welcome Valerie to the PCPD. They had lunch together. 

DOCKS: Valentine pays Curtis. Curtis looks very handsome-- Curtis tells Valentin that Nina is meeting with Sasha. Then tells him to not try to get back together with her. Weird scene.

PARK: Liz, Franco and Aiden. Liz is concerned about Aiden at school. You know, if GH thought ahead, Molly could be Aiden's teacher--and working on her masters. I don't think we know what she went to college for. It would have been good.  The teacher left a letter for Liz in his backpack. Liz wonders if that's why Aiden didn't want to go to school. He says yep. 

THE METRO:  Sasha and Nina. Nina asks about the necklace then basically insults Sasha's mom saying "Maybe she didn't want you to have it". Nina suggests they go to Paris together. Sasha says she doesn't want  a relationship with her, she loved her mother (who's dead now). Nina botches the whole lunch. Ends up crying and asking if they can start all over. They are meeting again tomorrow. Michelle Stafford was pretty awesome in those scenes. 

END: Brad walks into the courthouse with the baby and sees Michael and Nelle in the hall. I have no clue why he's there. He must have said but I missed it.

Real friendships are few and far between on soaps anymore-- at least ones we see on screen for more than 3x a month if we are lucky. What's been some of your favorite friendships over the years? 

The one that really stands out to me is Mac and Kevin. This story was happening around the time that Bosom Buddies was popular.  Check out the You Tube where Felicia coaches them on how to behave like "ladies"

Ok, so a bunch of people on Twitter said there'd be no GH today because ABC was doing all Hurricane stuff... but I SOMEHOW GOT IT around 2:03, enough to see Mike, Carly and Stella at Lunch..Drew came in too. 
THEN MY LOCAL STATION BREAKS in with a SHOOTING update. Ok, not for nothing, but we have multiple shootings a day. Come on, man... give me a break. 

Anyway, I guess I diagnosed Finn's dad with Lyme Disease!! Whoot!! I told you. I know my stuff!! I think Finn loved his Dad's wife and he was sleeping with her or something. I can tell.  I wonder if ChaseFord is his son!? Squee. 

Liz is talking with Kimmy about Oscar. Kim feels awful. 

Carly, Stella and Mike went to the daycare place, he liked it except for the food. 

Oscar is in the "park" in Studio City with Julian, Julian wants to know why he's not in school. Julian gives him advice. I'm glad they are 'really' outside but damn, that park is SO not Western NY....I don't even recognize half those trees. 
Cam comes over later and tells Oscar that it's stupid for him not to tell Josslyn. Oscar has a plan. So..later he texts Cam a picture of himself with another girl so Joss will see it. Josslyn is upset. 

So, Brainiacs Sonny and Jason discuss Spinelli's idea that they prove to the DA how "Bad her dad was" so ...she'll drop it? Huh? 

DA is trying to get Drew to turn on Sonny..."Just one memory and I can get a warrant". He says no. She said "What if I can help you get your memories back"?? Tells him about the flash drive. 

GRAVEYARD GIRL

DA goes to the graveyard where CarSon is MOURNING MORGAN and puts letters on Daddy's grave. Trying to get the guilt going. Carly's having NONE of it. Oh, someone on twitter said she had her DAD buried NEXT to Morgan!!? HAHAHAA. 

Alexis and Laura!! WHOOTT! I love NLG-- and GF!! They have such history with the Cassadines.Alexis says she got her mom's watch fixed because it stopped at 1:11 or something (I missed the time) and it STOPPED AGAIN at that time after it was running!! Totally haunted!!

Oscar tells Josslyn he wasn't coming to see her, to get lost there is "no us". Josslyn keeps going on and on about Morgan dying and not having time!! LOL!! DERP!! He tells her to get lost. He didn't love her, yada yada. He did a pretty good job with pain, guilt and being "angry"... he really did. Credit for some growth.

Liz and Laura!! Laura says Kevin's been distant. Liz says Call him! 

Sam says she wants to take it slow with Jason--Um, what the hell they BEEN DOING??!! they are drinking wine and Drew comes in. Sam tells him Jason knows about Oscar-- because Oscar told him. Drew leaves. DA girl calls him to come over. 

Oscar talks to Alexis about minors' rights when it comes to medical treatment. Isays he's doing a school paper) She says there isn't many options, especially if the parents are acting in the child's best interest. Oscar says they aren't doing that. 

Joss goes to talk to Kim. She "knows Oscar is in pain and wants her to be in pain too--how can she help him"?? What ?? is Joss like 44 in this scene? Any other teen would be out sleeping with Cameron by now. 

Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!

Yes, I have the day off-- and no...I'm not blogging!! I am taking my Aunt out to lunch (which takes awhile) and then I have to get home, walk Tillie and then get to the...(drum roll please) DENTIST!!

Here's a photo of our local Seneca Nation, part of the Iroquois. They are having a big celebration in Victor, NY today. Ganondagon is a site that has been open for years but recently got a museum and information center. 

Since I'm not sure I'll be here tomorrow either-- I'll say in advance SORRY!! -- I'll also say that although JaSam is getting it on, looks like it's not going to actually happen. Not that I care one way or another but geesh. Where does Jason live again?? With Carly and Sonny?? I totally forget.  If he does live at the Metro, they never show it. 

By the way, I think one of the reasons we don't see Roxy a lot is that animals cost so much to appear on any TV show! That's why we haven't had dogs or cats as main characters. I was reading something online (I can't find it again but I'll look) that said even prime time shows aren't 'employing' animals like they used to. 

That brings us to our question of the day: What is your favorite TV animal/pet? Mine is Jack the Dog from Little House. Awwww. When he died on the show I about lost my mind.

Sunday Surgery: Harsh Truths

OH IT'S ON!!  Blocked AND Status to: SINGLE!! 

Oh boy..it was another one of those weeks where I'm pressed to find anything noteworthy. I usually remember at least PART of the week but only one scene really stuck with me and I'll get to that one first. 

I guess we are lurching to November sweeps? Lumbering? Plodding?  Maybe that's why everything feels like a treadmill. Anyway, thank goodness 90% of the actors are awesome on this show. If not for them, we'd be doomed.  

Grad some alcohol and buckle up-- this isn't a pretty read by any means. 

Kale Smoothies

They're trying to make us like PETER... well, it's not gonna happen for this girl. NOPE. No matter what the Maxie banter is.  Oh, Peter is telling Maxie that Faison was mean to him as a kid. He threw him into the deep end of the pool and let him sink. Oy. 

Joss is trying to recreate the "Bench Anniversary" with Cam's help. She wants him to text Oscar. Oscar doesn't answer. Joss presses Cameron. He says there IS a reason he broke up with him.  "he's an idiot"

Oscar is at GH saying he doesn't want to do the experimental thing because he MIGHT DIE. DERP. Um, hey bucko, you ARE going to die.  He's trying so hard to do rage. 



Sam and Jason doing Legos. Yep. LEGOS.  It was...um... "charming". 

Griffin and Kiki end their make out session in the gym with Griffin putting the breaks on saying "I want to get to know you better". Code for: BORING

Aiden has a stomach ache.  Liz is freaking out about WHY he'd have a stomach ache. Franco says "Sometimes a stomach ache is just a stomach ache" 

Cam confronts Oscar about telling Josslyn. And Oscar blocks her from his MY FACE page and updates his status to "SINGLE"....

You know it's a boring day when "Kale Smoothies" are mentioned.  That was an Oscar dialog.

A Shrink and A Kink

Carly's being bitchy to Ava. So's Jason. She said "I helped you escape"!! Carly says, yeah with a paperclip!! Jason also said he payed her back by getting her face fixed. Jason leaves. Carly's egging Ava on about Griffin sleeping with her daughter.  Then she tells her she can't have Avery 'tomorrow' because she's going to be with her Family. (Sneer). OMG, Ava needs to knock Carly the hell out!! 
Tomorrow is the Anniversary of MORGAN'S DEATH (god help us) and they are having a memorial and Avery's going. Carly then tells Ava she's going to tell Avery as soon as she's old enough how her mother killed Morgan. UGH. 

Griffin and Peter in the gym. Whatever. Peter leaves, Kiki comes in. Looks at Griffin. Griffin looks at Kiki. Kiki tells him she really did want to sleep with him and she wants him--even now. Um, where did this come from? She's all of a sudden hot for Griffin? Okay then! They make out and decide to take it where it leads. 



SO, Danny saw Jason. Danny made a family book in school. Yawn.

Felicia and Ryan in his office. She's going on and on about what a horrible person Ryan was.  She also reminds him that "HE" had a breakdown after Ryan died. Ryan is all: HMmmmmmmm/ Oh, yeah, that breakdown lol  She wants to write a press release together and he wanted to tell the 'whole story'.  She says "Oh you thought he could have been rehabilitated, didn't you?? Well, he was evil". So Ryan says they can get together and write the press release. All with a murderous glint in the eye. 

Ava comes in later. She tells Dr. Collins she has to talk about the rage she feels. She's tried to be a good person--- but people only judge her on her past. Now she's filled with rage, rage she needs to get rid of and make Kiki and Griffin hate her as much as she hates them. Ryan is loving this! "The way you described your rage was masterful". Ryan says she's really fearful and uses her rage as a force-field.  He asks her about why she would want to protect herself. She tells him about a nightmare where Avery sees her "as she really is"... scarred, evil.  She's so happy that Ryan doesn't lecture her about her revenge fantasies. She loved her session! Wants more! 

Nina telling Maxie she has a daughter. Maxie goes on and on. Like she hasn't heard this story before from 10 other Port Charles residents over the years. OMG then Nina asks PETER his advice about bio-mothers etc. Why is she talking to that scum ?? UGH
Nina calls Sasha and leaves a message "I'm your biological mother"!! 

Finn, ChaseFord and Daddy. What's wrong with Dad? I'm saying Lyme Disease since it responds to antibiotics.  We'll see if I'm right.  Finn won't have dinner with Dad and Chase. Chase is like "It's just a steak"!! Later, Dad is waiting for "Hamilton" (Giggle) he said he wants to patch things up. Finn shouldn't be mad that he moved on after his mother died. Finn moved on after his wife died. 
Finn gave Dad a prescription "here, this should take care of that'. UM, WHAT? No diagnosis? WTF. Well, that was ..weird. 


I BET: Ryan is going to kill Kiki "For" Ava... heh. 

FEMA Test

Ryan's trying to keep "Handsy" Laura off him.. "I have a cold"--- "you should go see people, they missed you".  He about ran out the door to get to GH. Lulu comes to see Laura and talk about missing Dante. She said that Spencer sends hilarious Snap Chats to Charlotte and Rocco. 

Nina and Maxie talking about Dr. O being captured. Nina's looking at Sasha's photo.Nina then talks to Curtis about her. Shows him her necklace. He gets a phone call about the 2nd DNA test. 

Felicia wants to take a trip now to get away from Port Charles during the Chamberlain fest.  Maxie says they'll take a trip but in 'awhile". Oh she'll regret that! 

Kim and Drew tell Monica that Oscar has cancer. She says they'll fight it. 

Oscar offers his paper to Cam and tells him he has Cancer. Cam says to tell Josslyn. NOW. Oscar says NOPE. 

Carly and Joss talking about Oscar. She doesn't know why he broke up with her. Carly's giving her a pep talk about it and telling her to be strong. She's staying home from school.  Later she calls Cam to stop by. Says Oscar dumped her... he's like: really?!!  She wants to know why.
NOTE: A REAL old-timey soap would have Cameron totally take advantage of Josslyn's distress. HE WOULD. That's what SOAP TEENS DO.
Josslyn knows Cam knows. She wants answers. 


STUPID FEMA TEST..it froze on my TV and I had to reboot. 

Carly wants to meet with Ryan..he grumbles at her, then apologizes.  Carly wants to talk to Kim about Oscar and Joss. 

Felicia: Can I talk to you Kevin?? Ryan: HELL YA!! LOL He takes her into his office. Squee! Ryan pretending to be Kevin around Felicia? I'm so here for this!! 

NEWS: Hayley Erin is leaving GH due to her pilot getting picked up on FreeForm. Ergo, bye Kiki. Will she be the one Ryan kills?? Hmmm... 

Activity Tuesday!!

Oh, that DECLODAVE--coming up with something awesome to do on my days not 'in office'!! Not only can you leave your show impressions below, you can also partake in a fun mind-expanding exercise!! 

The question today is: What if you could bring back one GH character that has died (and even in the real life person is gone, you can count them too) --how would it change the canvas today? This means they NEVER died. So, what would life look like for the Q's if Dawn hadn't died but lived in Port Charles the entire time. 

Have fun! I'd do one but my brain is burning out and I have half the day to go!! I would love it if Georgie never died though. Wonder if she'd be married to Michael or something. Hmmmmm... 

Horses of Courses!

Diane has an assistant-- his name is "Henry". He's not really memorable. He points out to the DA that she needs to excuse herself since it was her father. Jordan says she doesn't have to yet (oh really??) Anyway, Jason was in Kindergarten when that Marino guy was killed. DA Says: "YOU'RE GONNA TALK "to Jason. AHAHHAHAA. OMG. Good luck Pip-Squeak. He says nothing as per usual. She tried being "tough"...then "nice" then tried to get his sympathy. 

Valentin doesn't want Nina to go ahead with the divorce.  Lulu talks to Nina about the hard choices of divorce. 

Ryan is trying hard to act like a human. Lucy thinks he's sick...fever. Lucy's going to get him soup. 

Mike wants to talk to Carly about "what happens next" without Sonny around. He wants to go to adult daycare. Carly says good idea.
Carly then goes over to make a phone call and Ryan is tapping on the table--SOS. She turns around and is like: Kevin! You're tapping "Help Me"!! Just like Ferncliff. He says it's a reflex because she had asked him to look into it. 


Curtis and Valentin are at GH--Valentin opens the envelope. That horse girl, Sasha. She looks just like Britt, who is her cousin so...I guess she is? Valentin wants to wait for another DNA test, Curtis is like: NOPE.  Valentin says ok and he'll tell Nina but Curtis can't tell Sasha yet. 

Ryan calls Ferncliff and they say "Ryan still thinks he's Kevin" so he says to increase his dosage of sedatives. He pulls out cord to strangle people with. 

END: Mike remembers where the gun is and tells Jason "No one will ever find it, I threw it in the Hudson River".
