Happy Indigenous Peoples Day!

Yes, I have the day off-- and no...I'm not blogging!! I am taking my Aunt out to lunch (which takes awhile) and then I have to get home, walk Tillie and then get to the...(drum roll please) DENTIST!!

Here's a photo of our local Seneca Nation, part of the Iroquois. They are having a big celebration in Victor, NY today. Ganondagon is a site that has been open for years but recently got a museum and information center. 

Since I'm not sure I'll be here tomorrow either-- I'll say in advance SORRY!! -- I'll also say that although JaSam is getting it on, looks like it's not going to actually happen. Not that I care one way or another but geesh. Where does Jason live again?? With Carly and Sonny?? I totally forget.  If he does live at the Metro, they never show it. 

By the way, I think one of the reasons we don't see Roxy a lot is that animals cost so much to appear on any TV show! That's why we haven't had dogs or cats as main characters. I was reading something online (I can't find it again but I'll look) that said even prime time shows aren't 'employing' animals like they used to. 

That brings us to our question of the day: What is your favorite TV animal/pet? Mine is Jack the Dog from Little House. Awwww. When he died on the show I about lost my mind.

Sunday Surgery: Harsh Truths

OH IT'S ON!!  Blocked AND Status to: SINGLE!! 

Oh boy..it was another one of those weeks where I'm pressed to find anything noteworthy. I usually remember at least PART of the week but only one scene really stuck with me and I'll get to that one first. 

I guess we are lurching to November sweeps? Lumbering? Plodding?  Maybe that's why everything feels like a treadmill. Anyway, thank goodness 90% of the actors are awesome on this show. If not for them, we'd be doomed.  

Grad some alcohol and buckle up-- this isn't a pretty read by any means. 

Kale Smoothies

They're trying to make us like PETER... well, it's not gonna happen for this girl. NOPE. No matter what the Maxie banter is.  Oh, Peter is telling Maxie that Faison was mean to him as a kid. He threw him into the deep end of the pool and let him sink. Oy. 

Joss is trying to recreate the "Bench Anniversary" with Cam's help. She wants him to text Oscar. Oscar doesn't answer. Joss presses Cameron. He says there IS a reason he broke up with him.  "he's an idiot"

Oscar is at GH saying he doesn't want to do the experimental thing because he MIGHT DIE. DERP. Um, hey bucko, you ARE going to die.  He's trying so hard to do rage. 



Sam and Jason doing Legos. Yep. LEGOS.  It was...um... "charming". 

Griffin and Kiki end their make out session in the gym with Griffin putting the breaks on saying "I want to get to know you better". Code for: BORING

Aiden has a stomach ache.  Liz is freaking out about WHY he'd have a stomach ache. Franco says "Sometimes a stomach ache is just a stomach ache" 

Cam confronts Oscar about telling Josslyn. And Oscar blocks her from his MY FACE page and updates his status to "SINGLE"....

You know it's a boring day when "Kale Smoothies" are mentioned.  That was an Oscar dialog.

A Shrink and A Kink

Carly's being bitchy to Ava. So's Jason. She said "I helped you escape"!! Carly says, yeah with a paperclip!! Jason also said he payed her back by getting her face fixed. Jason leaves. Carly's egging Ava on about Griffin sleeping with her daughter.  Then she tells her she can't have Avery 'tomorrow' because she's going to be with her Family. (Sneer). OMG, Ava needs to knock Carly the hell out!! 
Tomorrow is the Anniversary of MORGAN'S DEATH (god help us) and they are having a memorial and Avery's going. Carly then tells Ava she's going to tell Avery as soon as she's old enough how her mother killed Morgan. UGH. 

Griffin and Peter in the gym. Whatever. Peter leaves, Kiki comes in. Looks at Griffin. Griffin looks at Kiki. Kiki tells him she really did want to sleep with him and she wants him--even now. Um, where did this come from? She's all of a sudden hot for Griffin? Okay then! They make out and decide to take it where it leads. 



SO, Danny saw Jason. Danny made a family book in school. Yawn.

Felicia and Ryan in his office. She's going on and on about what a horrible person Ryan was.  She also reminds him that "HE" had a breakdown after Ryan died. Ryan is all: HMmmmmmmm/ Oh, yeah, that breakdown lol  She wants to write a press release together and he wanted to tell the 'whole story'.  She says "Oh you thought he could have been rehabilitated, didn't you?? Well, he was evil". So Ryan says they can get together and write the press release. All with a murderous glint in the eye. 

Ava comes in later. She tells Dr. Collins she has to talk about the rage she feels. She's tried to be a good person--- but people only judge her on her past. Now she's filled with rage, rage she needs to get rid of and make Kiki and Griffin hate her as much as she hates them. Ryan is loving this! "The way you described your rage was masterful". Ryan says she's really fearful and uses her rage as a force-field.  He asks her about why she would want to protect herself. She tells him about a nightmare where Avery sees her "as she really is"... scarred, evil.  She's so happy that Ryan doesn't lecture her about her revenge fantasies. She loved her session! Wants more! 

Nina telling Maxie she has a daughter. Maxie goes on and on. Like she hasn't heard this story before from 10 other Port Charles residents over the years. OMG then Nina asks PETER his advice about bio-mothers etc. Why is she talking to that scum ?? UGH
Nina calls Sasha and leaves a message "I'm your biological mother"!! 

Finn, ChaseFord and Daddy. What's wrong with Dad? I'm saying Lyme Disease since it responds to antibiotics.  We'll see if I'm right.  Finn won't have dinner with Dad and Chase. Chase is like "It's just a steak"!! Later, Dad is waiting for "Hamilton" (Giggle) he said he wants to patch things up. Finn shouldn't be mad that he moved on after his mother died. Finn moved on after his wife died. 
Finn gave Dad a prescription "here, this should take care of that'. UM, WHAT? No diagnosis? WTF. Well, that was ..weird. 


I BET: Ryan is going to kill Kiki "For" Ava... heh. 

FEMA Test

Ryan's trying to keep "Handsy" Laura off him.. "I have a cold"--- "you should go see people, they missed you".  He about ran out the door to get to GH. Lulu comes to see Laura and talk about missing Dante. She said that Spencer sends hilarious Snap Chats to Charlotte and Rocco. 

Nina and Maxie talking about Dr. O being captured. Nina's looking at Sasha's photo.Nina then talks to Curtis about her. Shows him her necklace. He gets a phone call about the 2nd DNA test. 

Felicia wants to take a trip now to get away from Port Charles during the Chamberlain fest.  Maxie says they'll take a trip but in 'awhile". Oh she'll regret that! 

Kim and Drew tell Monica that Oscar has cancer. She says they'll fight it. 

Oscar offers his paper to Cam and tells him he has Cancer. Cam says to tell Josslyn. NOW. Oscar says NOPE. 

Carly and Joss talking about Oscar. She doesn't know why he broke up with her. Carly's giving her a pep talk about it and telling her to be strong. She's staying home from school.  Later she calls Cam to stop by. Says Oscar dumped her... he's like: really?!!  She wants to know why.
NOTE: A REAL old-timey soap would have Cameron totally take advantage of Josslyn's distress. HE WOULD. That's what SOAP TEENS DO.
Josslyn knows Cam knows. She wants answers. 


STUPID FEMA TEST..it froze on my TV and I had to reboot. 

Carly wants to meet with Ryan..he grumbles at her, then apologizes.  Carly wants to talk to Kim about Oscar and Joss. 

Felicia: Can I talk to you Kevin?? Ryan: HELL YA!! LOL He takes her into his office. Squee! Ryan pretending to be Kevin around Felicia? I'm so here for this!! 

NEWS: Hayley Erin is leaving GH due to her pilot getting picked up on FreeForm. Ergo, bye Kiki. Will she be the one Ryan kills?? Hmmm... 

Activity Tuesday!!

Oh, that DECLODAVE--coming up with something awesome to do on my days not 'in office'!! Not only can you leave your show impressions below, you can also partake in a fun mind-expanding exercise!! 

The question today is: What if you could bring back one GH character that has died (and even in the real life person is gone, you can count them too) --how would it change the canvas today? This means they NEVER died. So, what would life look like for the Q's if Dawn hadn't died but lived in Port Charles the entire time. 

Have fun! I'd do one but my brain is burning out and I have half the day to go!! I would love it if Georgie never died though. Wonder if she'd be married to Michael or something. Hmmmmm... 

Horses of Courses!

Diane has an assistant-- his name is "Henry". He's not really memorable. He points out to the DA that she needs to excuse herself since it was her father. Jordan says she doesn't have to yet (oh really??) Anyway, Jason was in Kindergarten when that Marino guy was killed. DA Says: "YOU'RE GONNA TALK "to Jason. AHAHHAHAA. OMG. Good luck Pip-Squeak. He says nothing as per usual. She tried being "tough"...then "nice" then tried to get his sympathy. 

Valentin doesn't want Nina to go ahead with the divorce.  Lulu talks to Nina about the hard choices of divorce. 

Ryan is trying hard to act like a human. Lucy thinks he's sick...fever. Lucy's going to get him soup. 

Mike wants to talk to Carly about "what happens next" without Sonny around. He wants to go to adult daycare. Carly says good idea.
Carly then goes over to make a phone call and Ryan is tapping on the table--SOS. She turns around and is like: Kevin! You're tapping "Help Me"!! Just like Ferncliff. He says it's a reflex because she had asked him to look into it. 


Curtis and Valentin are at GH--Valentin opens the envelope. That horse girl, Sasha. She looks just like Britt, who is her cousin so...I guess she is? Valentin wants to wait for another DNA test, Curtis is like: NOPE.  Valentin says ok and he'll tell Nina but Curtis can't tell Sasha yet. 

Ryan calls Ferncliff and they say "Ryan still thinks he's Kevin" so he says to increase his dosage of sedatives. He pulls out cord to strangle people with. 

END: Mike remembers where the gun is and tells Jason "No one will ever find it, I threw it in the Hudson River".
