Another enjoyable week for me. I'm sounding like a broken record but in a GOOD way for once!! I also saw 2 days on Hulu which means no commercials during my viewing pleasure. :clapping:
What say you? You liking the show? The lull we had seems to be breaking and although there are some kinks to iron out, all in all fun is being had.

There is so much to talk about it's getting harder and harder to organize this narrative each Sunday. It's also harder because the stories really do dovetail now and are all twined together. You know that's my fave. So bear with me while I try to navigate through the drama.
THE MAD HATTER: So, Brook throws a tea party and boy, was it fun! We haven't had an all lady event like this in forever. Not only that, everyone was waiting to see the Big Show: Ronnie vs Tracey! I'm convinced Martin is the one that spiked Ronnie's tea. He was in there like a bat outta hell when he found out Tracey might be coming around to Ronnie. Even so, the argument was great and it could have gone on forever in my book. Side note: I DO NOT think Ronnie is fake. I think she IS Monica's sister and Marty found the letter she wrote. He went to the lawyer, had the Will changed and she has no clue. I see Tracey and her getting together to take Martin down. I'd love to keep Erika if we could!
THE COUCH SURFER: In a truly wonderful moment, Tracey wakes up to Rocco and Charlotte arguing. Did anyone give her a BED in Lulu's house? NOPE! Then all of her moving boxes came in. Gotta love it. She should be with Obrect in The Cosmo Hotel but hey, this is way more fun, no?
THE ALIBI RETRACTION: I'm saying Star of the Week was Cynthia Watros with her performance during the courtroom scenes. WOWZA. The pain on her face was so poignant. It was killing Nina to do this but she had to, especially with the footage showing she was lying. Drew jumping up was soapy "YOU BITCH"!! And Willow?? OFF to Pentonville with you!! Drew then told Alexis she had to represent Willow to see Scout again. That tuned into a whole OTHER thing!!
THE PREGNANT PAUSE: Jordan has figured out Portia is PG. What does she do? She runs to ANNA to dish about it. So many people were doggin' on Jordan but THIS IS THE STUFF OF OG SOAPS!! That's what characters DO!! Ya go tell your best girlfriend!! I was happy with those Brown Dog Scenes. More please.
THE PRISON DISGUISE: Um.. CARLY! Party City has closed so I'm not sure where you found this get-up!! I have to admit I really liked her and Valentin teaming up against Brennan. It was unexpected and Carly was great in all the scenes. She was also great when talking to Jack and trying to get him to tell her the truth. Kudos to Laura Wright for just the right touch when acting that part out. I'm hoping Val gets out of jail somehow but with "Steinmauer" as easy to get to as NYC it seems, maybe it can work out!
THE FAISON FACTOR: If ever I had hope Faison was coming back, this just made me giddy! First of all, let's talk about the Anna of it all. I'm so happy they are using her history in this story and just keeping it up. She confronts Britt about everything and Britt stupidly says "I was developing an exfoliant at the Poppies" . Girl... things don't blow up over skin care. Everyone who's anyone from the 90s knows that Faison's kids turning up from beyond the grave HAS to mean something. I'm here for it.
THE BAD BOY: I like the good-boy-bad-boys on soaps and Michael never really got over the edge of 'bad' for me. He had a few moments but, meh, didn't see it. NOW? Holy HELLO there he is in all his glory!! Talking to Dante he was mysterious, ruthless and unforgiving. He hates Willow and isn't afraid to show it. Then, he talks to Jacinda about "falling in love" for the show of it (we all know where this is going) and it was delightful. Thank you to Rory!
THE BENSONHURST HEIST: Honestly had NO idea why Lois showed up in her PJs to talk to Sonny about Gio. Like, huh? Okay. Why do I care? Then it was revealed that Rena is 'leaving' GH and Lois is going 'on tour' with Blaze. I'm sure she'll be back to visit at some point. The scenes between her and Brook Lyn were good but really felt inserted.

PREDICTIONS: If it's true that ES is leaving soon, the Ronnie "reveal" should be coming up. Woe be it to Martin when Tracey finds out!! I think Michael and Jacinda will fall in love (or at least lust) and everyone will be freaking out about the situation. Will Drew use her old life to try to get the kids away? We need way more Ava on and start back up with the Ric stuff. We know he'll be on a devious rampage, let's go!!
Parapet thoughts put this: Visiting thte Steinmauer Muffler Shop! AHAHA It fits so well!! I just want to say that GH is feeling like a real old-timey soap lately. The whole town is being used and there seems to be little surprises for me on the daily. We have a 'shooting' mystery, a Whos' the Daddy, some WSB spy stuff and other goodies in the mix. Chases' obsession with Willow is twisty and I really hope they explore that. Dante needs some action...and I'm hoping for more involvement with the WSB caper from him. The biggest area of complaint is: Nathan. It's just not even complex or intiging at this juncture. Way more needs to be happening around his return.
It's funny but my blogs do WAY better when I'm hating on the show and I wonder what that says? LOL.
