Oh boy...this wedding! LOL..NO ONE is there!! Where the hell did Curtis go? He was all tuxed up and everything!! Oh! Today they say he was "outside on a call" ? WEIRD....So Obrect is stopping the wedding. Mac thinks she's a fugitive. She's like: NOPE! Robert calls the WSB and confirms it. Curtis wants to know if she's not responsible, who is? Peter looks ill.
Obrect is putting the tape of Alex in. Alex tells everyone she's Peter's mother. Peter ugly cries. So, why would this stop the wedding? I mean, Obrect better get to the part where he killed people and such. Right now they are just going to feel bad for him. OMG Maxie is upset. Peter's furious with Anna. Finn walks out because Anna knew and told Valentin and not him.
OMG Maxie decides she doesn't care WHO Peter's mother is, she still wants to marry him!! WHAT. SO I guess the info about him being a killer evil idiot isn't coming out? Peter decides that yes, he'll marry Maxie. Lesil gets mad and is going to click her pen to make Dante kill him but Valentin yells out "I CAN'T LET YOU DO THIS"!! So I guess he's going to spill?
Carly and Michael talking about Nelle and Nina. And Sonny...blah. Hey! SEVEN Sonny-free days! Woo hoo! Not much comes out of the talk. Carly still hates Nina..yada yada. Tries to tell Michael NIna shouldn't see Wiley. He's like NOPE. Wow, stood up to her. AND he calls Nina over to see him!
Nina and Ava at the Coffee Corner. Nina tells Ava that Nelle was her daughter. She's sad. You know. Nina also says that Carly let Nelle fall to her death. Ava says Carly had a point since Nina was such a jerk at Sonny's funeral.
The salad fork comment is what I need to gouge my eyes out with.
Of course Maxie doesn't care who Peter's mother is. Obrecht has no proof. Anna and Valentin have no proof. So infuriating
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste of 3 days. Not that there are a ton of other exciting story lines. But this one was never exciting so there's that. They should have had Britt and Jason for comic relief and maybe a little romance. No one there was happy.
ReplyDeleteso tired of dick dastardly getting away with everything .LW must have ins with someone.
ReplyDeletewhat ever happened to spinelli, sam, jason and robert investigating plp?
ReplyDeleteand what was the point of kim nero having a baby? julian is dead. franco has 1 foot in the grave. and tamara braun is on DOOL?
ReplyDeleteGood question!!! And they haven't shown that nanny or the baby again!!!
DeleteThe wedding: Fanna wedding, over.. Paxie wedding over... Alex's truth spilling, Hiney's ugly cry, and Anna and V.C. having eye! All good. :) Oh wait no! Maxie wants to still marry Hiney! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! UGH! Come on Dr. O! Spill Hiney's evil deeds!!!! Oh the pen!!! Yes yes make Dante kill Hiney! GREAT! :) Oh wait V.C. is stopping them? Hmmmmmm..
ReplyDeleteSam's cha cha's: Awww poor Hiney. I want to give him a hug. ;)
Finchy's hotel room: Where is Roxie?!!?!?!?!
Q home:
Michael and Carly: Oh Carly! You can't stop Nina from seeing her grandchild!!! Grandparents have rights!!!! Oh look Lila's picture!!! :) Let's focus on that. :)
Michael, Carly, Willow: The look on Carly's face when Willow told them what happened at the wedding! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Central Perk:
Nina and Ava: Awww besties. :) I'm glad Nina feels comfortable enough to talk to Ava about what is going on and how she feels. :) And I am glad Michael called Nina to see Wiley! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! :)
"Karen says, The salad fork comment is what I need to gouge my eyes out with."
ROFL!
Just love that you always remember the details! I forgot all about Roxie. And yeah, where is she?? :)
DeleteI could tell by Ava's face that she just knows Nina is going to blow it! She gave her good advice, which she won't follow.
Willow sure was a blabber mouth! I just rolled my eyes when she corrected herself and said, oh Chase was my first visitor at the gate house. And of course the look from Michael. This is beyond junior high behavior, sheesh!
I wanted a fork too!
"Julie H says, Just love that you always remember the details!"
DeleteHaha thanks. :)
"I forgot all about Roxie. And yeah, where is she?? :)"
We haven't seen her in a long time!!! :(
"I could tell by Ava's face that she just knows Nina is going to blow it! She gave her good advice, which she won't follow."
Yes it was good advice, and yeah she probably won't.
"Willow sure was a blabber mouth! I just rolled my eyes when she corrected herself and said, oh Chase was my first visitor at the gate house."
ROFL! What was the point of that Willow?!?!!
"And of course the look from Michael. This is beyond junior high behavior, sheesh!"
Hahaha no kidding!
"I wanted a fork too!"
ROFL!
We will never be rid of Peter. The writer's are so stupid. So NO ONE is able to uncover anything on Peter? NOT Anna, Valentin, Robert, Jason, Spinelli, Sam, Franco. NO ONE????????? Nepotism at its best here ruining a good Soap Opera
ReplyDeleteIf they want Laura Wright's boyfriend on this show so much, then have his "good twin" come in and kill his "evil twin" while protecting Maxie.
ReplyDeleteWhile I despise the "twin storyline" this one would be more "acceptable" since one of Peters parents is a twin. And, it has been scientifically shown that twins pass down down genes that are more succeptable to create twins.
Zak says, If they want Laura Wright's boyfriend on this show so much, then have his "good twin" come in and kill his "evil twin" while protecting Maxie."
DeleteThat's what I have been saying! Kill off Hiney, and the actor can show up as another character! Yes a twin!!
Idk. The actor is ok, but not great. I don’t think I could stomach it.
Deleteagree
Deleteagree. couldn't stomach it
DeleteWhat can these writers possibly be thinking?
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stand a Hiney twin. His crying today was most definitely ugly. But now he's the victim. Worst character ever.
This show has become appallingly bad in a record short amount of time after a mostly smash success 2020.
ReplyDeleteLet me count the ways:
No cares about either couple, Anna and Finn and Maxie and Peter. Finola Hughes and Michael Easton have chemistry with other actors/characters. The Anna/Finn relationship has really never been developed. Where is the passion and romance? This is freaking Anna Devane, not a spinster. I thought when they re-introduced Jackie Templeton with Kim Delaney, they were setting up a triangle, something that would have been more interesting than the white bread and cold soup we've been fed. But Jackie doesn't seem to have any lingering feelings for Finn. What was the point for the big reveal about Chase being the son of Finn and Jackie if Jackie wasn't interested in Finn any more? And then, you have freaking Gregory Harrison in your cast and you have him playing this? So much potential there in the limited scenes he's been in, but again, it's so infrequent, there's no buildup, nothing. Gregory Harrison and Kim Delaney are rockstar performers but the characters haven't been allowed to much of anything. I realize couples fall out of love, but they way they are being written, you'd guess they were strangers.
And then there's Valentine. He definitely has chemistry with Finola Hughes. But is he in Anna's story or Nina's? I feel like they are letting him twist in the wind until Amanda Setton returns as Brook Lynn with his baby. But Amanda Setton never had any scenes with the actor who plays Valentine, did she?
The Peter story is one of the most convoluted messes that this show has trotted out in decades. Anyone remember the Laurelton mystery in the late 80s? This kind of reminds of me of that in that they have been so many pointless twists and turns, starts and stops that in the end nobody cares.
Maxie, the child of two legacy characters. I've never been a fan of Kirsten Storms. She plays Maxie like a Valley Girl.
The wedding was a big bust. There must have been 6 people in attendance for a double wedding? No mention of Robin. At least we got Felicia off screen tending to a relative in Texas. Still horribly missed, since I don't think she's been present for Maxie's previous weddings.
The few bright spots in the show have been the actors who play Liesl, Britt, Scorpio and Olivia.
Speaking of Olivia...where is Ned? Another character and story that's disappeared without explanation.
I could go on and on and on. Step up writers or you won't see the 60th anniversary in 2023.
While I agree with your points, I actually enjoy Kirsten Storms as Maxie. Some of it has to do with watching her on the Disney Channel(Zenon, Bonnie from 'Kim Possible'), before she was on GH. I like how KS brings both comedy and drama talents as Maxie. In my opinion, they have been neglecting her talent, because of the idiotic Peter Storyline. Compare this, to her terrific acting when they (controversially) killed Georgie off, which nabbed her an Emmy nomination.
DeleteI agree with you! I'm ok with Maxie, but not liking Kim Delaney much. She plays Jackie like an ice cube and the clenched teeth talking gets on my nerves. Gregory Harrison has been totally wasted. Such a shame.
DeleteSpot on!
DeleteSo let's blame it on the pandemic. Hard to have zee zex scenes because of restrictions. Time to put an end to some of the s/ls. There are way too many of them going on at the same time. Makes one dizzy.
ReplyDeleteI didn't like how they paired today's show, with a dual filler recap from Nina AND Michael about Nelle again. It dragged the show down. They should of focused only on the weddings today, which provided enough drama.
ReplyDeleteGH got another scandal again. Tristan Rogers defended Wes Ramsey in a Cameo video. He threw shade at the GH writers and said it wasn't Wes's fault he got a "horrible storyline". Ouch.
I now have a feeling, that Robert will randomly run off to save Holly off screen, with barely any explanation or a goodbye.
I forgot, TR thought WR was miscasted in the role.
Deletehttps://soaps.sheknows.com/general-hospital/news/593536/general-hospital-tristan-rogers-peter-august-storyline-commentary/
Yeah I saw that on twitter. I hope they don't have Robert leave to go somewhere just because of what he said. :(
DeleteWes Ramsey got all defensive about his acting skills on Twitter, I think in response to Tristan's comments.
ReplyDeleteWhat skills? He was horrible yesterday as always.
DeleteLindaV
I agree
Deleteon the first Zoom with Tristan and John, Tristan was extremely vocal about the horrible inconsistency of writing - I thought after that he would be gone....however every word he said was true, including, "These writers don't remember history - the ACTORS have to tell them the background and sometimes they don't listen."
ReplyDeleteWe should be glad Elizabeth Korte is still on board. She's literally the only writer that's been on board for more than a decade.
DeleteFinally a good episode. They could have done without like 3 days worth of junk.
