We will be saying goodbye to Billy Miller in August. But the bigger question remains... what will become of Drew Cain? Being that this is a soap, the possibilities are endless. In addition to your daily comment about today's show (this is the Wednesday blog by the way, if you haven't figured that out) I welcome you to speculate how you think Drew will be written off the canvas. Here are some suggestions to get you started, along with MY prediction at the end. 

Kill him off. Preferably in a standoff with Shiloh that will take Shiloh off canvas as well

Open ended leave. He is just never talked about or mentioned again.

Some people call the this "Anne Logan Syndrome"

Have him walk into the elevators at Crimson,

the doors shut and we never hear from him again. 
Some people call this the "Ric Lansing Syndrome" 

Have him walk into the elevators at Crimson, but the elevator is broke

and he falls down the empty shaft (where have I heard this before)

Recast the character -- and feel free to give some ideas of who you'd like! 

Recast the character with Jason Thompson (oh wait...)

Have him rekindle with Kim and they both leave the canvas 

to go and have little Oscars together.

MY PREDICTION:

Drew decides to get his memories back after all. (I dont understand how a flash drive is uploaded to someone's brain, but then again, you can create a weather machine using a diamond, so go figure.) He gets his memory back and says "I remember" and then leaves the set and runs through various Port Charles sets and enters the Abbott house on Young and the Restless and it turns out that all the memories that Drew had in the flash drive were memories of him as the real Billy Abbott.



Karen is off today, hope you enjoyed this blog-- and please participate. It's always great when a convo is started about the show. Even if it's a sad one when a popular actor leaves. 

New Co-Head Writer at GH

I was going to do a different post for today but this is pretty big news so I will drop it before I leave. Shelley Altman is retiring FRIDAY--and Chris Van Etten and Dan O'Connor (Former breakdown writer) will lead the helm. O'Connor and Van Etten also worked on One Life to Live.  TV Insider has the scoop although Daytime Confidential had the rumor long ago.  Kudos to @JillianBowe for breaking it! 

Not sure how this will play out, Chris has been a head writer for a short time and Dan has never been in the position. Good to have new blood? I think so--I like Chris, so here's hoping ABC gets outta their way and lets them write, write , write!! 

I am off today and tomorrow. Dave will do a post tomorrow for you to jump in on-- this will serve as today's post.

Monday Monday...

I was singing the Mama's and The Papa's today!! 

 It's so weird guys, I'm getting into You Tube So much-- watching influencers (Jefferee Star is the latest one) and dumpster dives (OMG so much stuff thrown out!)  and thrift hauls. It's so mindless and it's taking my mind off all the crap in the world. Anyway I love You Tube..it's my dream of what TV could be when I was a kid. Just pick and choose!! 

TODAY'S SHOW 

Willow goes to talk to Julian. She's had a change of heart about him and thinks he's a super grandpa. So she's going to change the stipulation in the adoption and let him see Wiley. She says he can go to the birthday party. 

Shiloh over hears Epiphany talking to Bobbie about Wiley's party. He wants to get his ass there. Epiphany is getting his medical history together for him to take. She yells at him a couple of times. lol 



WILEY's ONE: and they are having a giant over the top party at the Metro Court. Guests include: Carly, Bobbie, Sasha Alexis...Willow and Julian  Brucas are there. No kids. Weird party. Willow walks in with Julian and Carly has a fit. BUT they tell her it's their choice to have Jules in Wiley's life and to accept it. They toast Wiley (who's a cutie pie smiley boy) and Shiloh walks out of the elevator. Willow yells at him. Shiloh says that he wants to give Wiley a present-it's his medical records. Michael ends up punching him and throwing him out.  Brad grabs the medical records and hopes that Lucas never sees them. 

Michael and Nelle in Pentonville talking about Jonah. "I know something you don't know"....She's going to tell him and of COURSE Carly sends a text. Nelle gets mad "Does she want you home and not here"??He opens it and it's a photo of Sasha with Wiley. Nelle gets mad 'Is that your girlfriend"?? SHE'S ALL JELLY IN JAIL LOL ... She decides to tell Michael she had a dream about Jonah surrounded by angels and happy and at peace.  Michael tells her he's over it and never wants to see her again. When he leaves she says she's "not done yet".  Later, she talks to Harmony in the jail. Tells her that Michael doesn't deserve her or their son. Makes 


Franco and Drew are EATING (my favorite thing to watch RoHo do) and talking about the psychic.  "Don't take that drive"... Drew tells him to be happy. An package gets delivered to Drew from the Navy. Oscar wanted Drew to have his military medals so he filled out the paper work and had Drew's admin have him sign the papers secretly. Drew is happy because they are from "his son".  They open it and they are from 2005 and his actions in Afghanistan for saving lives. He has 5, one is the Silver Star.  Franco looks at them and talks about the lives Drew saved. Drew says one is for saving Shiloh and he wants to send that one back lol. Franco asks if he'd want his memories back yet. Drew says no, that would jeopardize his memories of Oscar. "My memories are in this room and here they will stay". (close up on the place where the flashdrive is). 


Ava and Psychic Chelsea walking in the park together talking about contacting Kiki. Chelsea asks Ava how her face got so much better after the fire. She brings up Morgan and the medication tampering and how she shot Connie. Ava's like "I just want to contact Kiki not go over all my sins".  So, Chelsea looks into the void and says WOW, you're the Cochella of Dead People LOL!! AHHAAA. She sees Connie and AJ... and Helena has a message "You knew Nikolas killed me and didn't tell anyone"... and then she asks about a dead baby and a woman. Ava's like What are you talking about?  I didn't have anything to do with Nelle and her baby. THEN Chelsea mentions the baby blanket! REMEMBER THAT?? Ava hid it!! I totally forgot about that!!  She gave it to Julian!! He hid it in a trunk at the Q's right? 
So, later on...the psychic says that Kiki is angry that Ava fell in love with a serial killer and has his heart. Ava jumps up and says she's gotta go. 
She goes and visits RYAN!! 

Shiloh meets with this public defender. She goes over the charges (she looks like Sasha I think) and says that they are airtight and he could either go to court and go away forever or plead guilty and end up with 20 years. He says he's not going to jail. He goes walking in the park, finds a lucky dollar and calls someone with a "job". 


I THINK the only way Shiloh gets out of this is that Harmony is killed. That's my prediction. Maybe Ryan will do it? 


PS I totally enjoyed the show today especially Drew/Franco and Ava/Chelsea 

Billy Miller Twitter Drama...

So, I wake up to this on Twitter.  I hope you can read it. It's done on an old typewriter (the letter was propped on it in one photo) -- but he basically says good-bye in a rather mild fashion. TV Source Magazine was the first to break the news. 

The fan reaction is the drama part and the comments are all over the place. His fans, especially "Killy" fans (he and Kelly Moncao) are up in arms over the fact Steve Burton ever came back. Well, not so much that he came back but that Miller didn't keep playing Jason. Add to the fact that the Drew backstory never happened, and it's fuel to the fire. To be fair, they couldn't do a lot of flashbacks of his past life because he did after all, have a different face at that point. (oh only in soaps!!) 

It's not entirely known "whom left whom' in this relationship. Did Billy decide not to re-sign because he has better offers? Did GH not pony up enough $$??? However you look at it, Miller is a wildly popular actor and it's a loss to GH. I think the character of Drew has run it's course (through no fault of his) and it's probably best to move on.  What will that do for the character of Kim? Interesting.

Sunday Surgery: All The Pain

I think he's really bad off Lulu, he wouldn't even accept the rigatoni I sent to Ithaca. 

Friday saved the week for me... I enjoyed the show and it's always nice to end on a positive note! Since there was a rerun this week we didn't get a 'cliff hanger" but it was still good. 

It's ROC the Taste here this weekend so I'm sampling all sorts of Rochester foods. We like our white hots, wings and meatballs (??) for some reason!  Hubs had Jonny's BBQ and I ended up with Thai Mii Up Pad Thai! 

Don't Drive

Ava's ISSUE IS OUT!! WHOO HOO!! Val and Nina look at it ...(it's pretty thick) and she tells him Jax and Hayden are coming to dinner. He's like WHA? She said she's afraid they know she drugged Casssssssandra. yada yada.
Ava pops in, tells NIna she's going to sue her for "Everything she has" because of the piece.  Nina says she didn't use anything Ava didn't say herself. Valentin says "you're lucky she didn't bring up Nikolas Cassadine"..and Ava says "Oh, the man you murdered"??!  They snipe. Val leaves. Nina tells Ava that her issue 'blew up' and has TWO MILLION COMMENTS in the first day. Oh. Ava likes that lol  She reads some comments that are flattering to her. Then one says she's glamorizing her daughter's death. She gets angry all over again. Storms out. 


Dr. O in the hospital , scared to go home because someone is trying to kill her. Chase comes in and says they blew up the photo but can't tell who it is. BECAUSE IT'S A FOOT. LOL. You know that, I know that. Chase asks if Lesil got into any fights with anyone on the boat. She says NOPE. 
Later, Valentin comes in and says Hello Lesil..she shows him the photo. He says she's coming home with him to Wyndemere. 

Michael takes Nelles' call..she looks like she's been crying. not sure if it's real-- or fake. She wants Michael to go to Pentonville and be with her. He finally agrees. Carly is like, what are you doing?? He says Nelle held Jonah and he feels like he needs to see her. He leaves. 


Jax and Hayden at the Metro restaurant ( Where else?) .. they talk about going to Wyndemere. He tells her not to get too attached because his "heart lies elsewhere" .. She says "your exwife?" and leaves. 
Carly comes by (after being with Michael) she says she's upset he's seeing Hayden. Jax asks her to sit. She goes on and on about Michael. Jax is flirting a bit I think. Ava comes by later and asks Jax if his revenge is complete. 

Nelle and Harmony. Harmony says how weird her grandson and Nelle's baby were born on the same day last year.  Harmony tells Nelle about DOD and Shiloh and the baby. She goes on and on and explains that the baby, "Wiley" is in danger from Shiloh. And Nelle says "Um, did you say Wiley"??!! She realizes that Wiley is Jonah..and that Shiloh could take him. Nelle says people will do anything for their kids. Then Michael comes to visit. 



Franco is in the hallway of GH and sees the new psychic. She has a message from Kiki for him "Congratulations for getting out of your own way to be happy". He says Sibley told him he won't feel like himself soon.  She says she doesn't know about that but then stares ahead and says "Don't take that drive". Then Leaves! Franco's going WHAT? WHERE/ DRIVE WHERE?? 
That's Nancy Donahue from The Middle, btw--I expected her to have a casserole with her LOL She's GREAT. She sits with Ava and is her new psychic. Great little scene. 

OTHER THINGS:
Chase and Hayden make up
Liz asks Hayden to live with she and Franco until she finds a place. 
Nina asks Carly to tell her about Jax. Carly says he's wonderful, great. Trustworthy. 
Nelle tells Michael she has to talk about their son (show ends) 

Casssssssandra Pierce

Chase and Finn talking about Hayden. He said he loved her-- and flashbacks to when she was PG and he asked her to marry him. Chase asks about the baby and Finn says he she lost it. 

Robert and Sonny talking about Devvvvvvvvv...then Sonny's all mad at Robert about Dante "you promised me he'd come home ok". Robert's like: not my fault! Then Sonny says he's mad that Shiloh is out on bail. Again, Robert's saying NOT ME, it's the judge. Then Robert says they need boundaries because he's in law enforcement. (and Sonny's not)

Robert then talks to Finn about CASSSSSSSSANDRA PIERCE. (yikes, this name is coming up all over the place). She was last seen in Italy, Lake Cuomo in the 'company of a gentleman".  Not sure who but he tells Finn to 'stay out of it". 


Nina and Jax: She pressures him about how he knows Casssssssssandra Pierce.  He says he doesn't know her. They argue and Jax ends up inviting Nina and Valentin out to dinner. (you have to see it, it is weird). Nina says no, better idea, you come to Wyndemere with Hayden for dinner. He says yes. It's "tonight". Later, Jax calls Hayden and says it's great because they can search the place. 

Michael and Willow talking about Wiley. She knows he's sad because his baby was born on the same day.  He says it's ok.. he's trying to appreciate life and being Godfather to Wiley. 
Chase comes in, Michael leaves. Willow wants to get a job application. Wouldn't she want to teach in another town or something? I mean...she wants to waitress??  Chase tells her about Finn, Hayden and losing the baby. Asks her if she wants another baby-- she's like why are you asking all this? He says he loves her. Awww. 

Kids and the LOCK. Joss cries that it's gone. Tells Cam other couples put them on the bridge and someone just CUT.THEM.OFF. Cam is like "Gulp".  Joss goes on and on about it. Cam says he cut them off and the garbage truck came and took them away. She cries and runs. 
Dev and Cam go searching in the garbage place for it-- in the dumpsters. The security guard comes and Cam jumps in and covers himself with the bags. Devvvvvv distracts the guy saying he's doing a 'school report'. 
They find the lock. Joss hugs Cam. 

Carly and Jason talking about Devvvvvvvv. He asks about the baby. She tells him about the Spina Bifida-- and says she's terrified. Wants to get angry at someone. Needs his help to keep an eye on Devvvvvvv while she and Sonny are busy with the baby. They find out "today" how serious it is. 
And sure enough in a weird edit, CarSon are magically in the hospital getting another ultrasound.  Tense scenes but cut to bits by the editing and therefore, takes a lot away. The doctor tells them that the baby will need an operation within 24 to 48 hours after delivery. She said what kind of Spina Bifida it is --(long name) and it's not the most severe. They can't operate in utero because of Carly's history. They'll know the extent of the nerve damage during the 7th month ultrasound. 

Michael goes to CarSon's and Jason is still there. He doesn't know about the baby because he's happy they are 'hearing the heartbeat" .. then Nelle calls collect from jail. He won't accept the charges LOL He tells Jason that Harmony and Nelle are in the same cell. 
Nelle calls back. We don't know if Michael accepts it because show's over. 

TIDBITS: New psychic coming...the other one left and there's "Chelsea" played by the lady that played the neighbor Nancy on "The Middle".  Also, I think Franco gets in a car accident. 

Today's GH : Interruptus?

I'm not sure it's going to show today due to the hearings. ABC is covering them but they may be done by 2. Of course there could be hours of 'analysis" coming too so we will have to wait and see. I won't be home until later anyway and I wasn't sure I could watch in real-time. So I may not blog the show today.

Let's face it, not a hell of a lot is happening anyway-- and I know we can't get Haunted Star like things every day but damn--it's SUMMER!! I feel like it's all exposition every day. I'm also really not into Sasha and if her 'secret' doesn't come out soon, I'll just lose it. This summer should really have been ramped-up baby switch movement but that too is just creeping along. 

Anyone else not care about Cassandra Pierce? Jessica Tuck's first stint wasn't that exciting imo and the whole synthetic opioid mess just floundered.  Unless Dev's in on the whole thing and she's using him as a mule (there by snowing Sonny) I'm not really interested. 

Carly should have been shown talking to Bobbie about the baby by now. That's the FIRST place she should have gone. Bobbie would remind her she's a strong Spencer and that she's been a nurse for years and years and will support and help. HUGE missed beat. And even if it does happen, it wasn't organic or timely.  If I was writing I'd think of the first few things Carly would do hearing the diagnosis. Going on the internet was one but then seeking out friends and family would be top priority! She tells Jason today I think..but meh. That's Jason. 

Anyway, have a good one. The heat finally broke here and it's bearable!! Yeah!! Humidity is the Devil's work lol. 

A Face For Modeling

Finn and Hayden ...she's looking for Liz, Liz has already gone home. Lucy comes by. Hayden wants to know if the house she was looking at before she left is still for sale. Lucy's like: The one you were buying with FINN??? Lucy gives her her card. Hayden leaves. 



Michael and Sasha at Kelly's...he cancels their trip to Puerto Rico. Because? Wiley's FIRST BIRTHDAY. Lucy is staring at them at Kelly's.. she says that Sasha could have been the face of "Deception".  Meaning the cosmetic company.  She thinks Sasha should model and gives her a card.  Sasha tells Michael that she did try modeling once. 

CarSon are on the patio. Sonny tells her about Dante and the divorce papers. They talk about Dev.. and his living there. Same ol' same ol. 

Lulu--Paxie comes to visit. she shuts the door in their faces. I would too. Not Maxie--but Peter.  Anyway, Maxie keeps knocking and Lulu shows her the divorce papers. Cries. Doesn't know how she'll tell Rocco. Maxie insults her sweat pant outfit. Tells her she wants to take her drinking.  Rocco's home..Maxie offers up Peter to babysit. 

Peter reads a book to Rocco, it's spooky. He changes the ending to a happy one and Rocco FREAKS THE HELL OUT! LOL, it was bizarre. I can take it! I'm not afraid!! Um, WEIRD. Peter finds him hiding in the kitchen. Rocco says he wanted to hear that story to prove he was brave. He wonders if his Dad left like the guy in the book because he didn't know how to be a Dad. Peter talks about not having a mom. Bonding time. 

Lulu and Maxie go out. Lulu runs into the guy from OLTL..what's his name on this show?? He was her 'date' and uber driver guy. DUSTIN! that's it.. Maxie invites them to join for margaritas. She asks about his job.. Lulu blurts out she's gotten divorce papers. "your husband is crazy' says Dustin. he leaves. Lulu cries. 


Dev tells Joss she's spoiled and shouldn't expect Max to drive her around. He can steal a car and drive her . :eyeroll:  Trina and Cam walk up as they argue.  Yada yada. Joss and Cam talk. She appreciates him. Trina wants to get to know Dev better. BTW, the KIDS are getting COFFEE and it's dark, meaning it's 9pm.. and also, Cam's community center guy comes along and tells him they have to 'finish' working. AT NINE AT NIGHT?? mmmmmm'kay 

Cam has to go with the guy who's cleaning the bridge, taking off graffiti and Cameron has to cut the locks off the railing. Where Joss and Oscar's lock is.  Joss goes there and sees the lock is gone. Gets upset.  Cries. Dev comes along. They hug (tight). 

Curtis gives Valentin and update on Jax and wants to know why he has a file on both Val and Cassandra. 
Hayden comes in after Val leaves. She apologizes for being such a bad friend and not going to the wedding. He asks where she was. Hayden doesn't say much. 

At GH, Valentin sees Finn and tells him to tell Anna that he has to talk to her about Cassandra Pierce. 

WOW ... this is summer? I mean...no excitement at all. eesh. 

Bar Money

What's happenin!!? Here we are back to another week of GH-- 

Olivia comes into Sonny's house in her ELQ Baseball uni saying that Dante shot Lulu's boss. She's upset and Robert told her that Dante shot Peter. Sonny wants Answers. They storm out. 


Dante stated "Desertion" as the reason for the divorce. HIS desertion, not hers. Lulu cries to Laura. She said that Dante basically said goodbye the last time he saw her. Cries. Laura says in NYS you have 20 days to contest the divorce. She's all upset.  Sonny and Olivia arrive..ask if it's true. Lulu says "more than you know".  Sonny wants to know why Paxie were there. Olivia thinks it's all the PTSD. THey all want to know if Lulu is going to go thru with the divorce.  Sonny and Olivia say Dante still loves Lulu. Laura says it's lulu's decision and they have to support her.

Alexis and Dr. Neal. She thinks Krissy is following in her footsteps men wise. He says it's not all about her. He wonders about her social life. She says "what social life". They talk about her continuing therapy yada yada. Same ol, same ol. He says to make sure she's made progress she'll have to go on a date. Alexis is like "there are no good men in Port Charles". 

Domestic Bliss Jordan Stuff with Curtis. Stella walks in. She brought healthy food. Curtis goes to buy stuff for a BBQ. Stella tells Jordan not to "overdo" it in the sex dept. Jordan asks about Stellas' life. She says she'll help her find the mystery relative that the DNA match found on that website (remember that? It was awhile ago) Stella says she paid the subscription money to find out but the other person hasn't answered yet.
Will Trina be involved in this? Hmm...



Jax celebrates Crimson's projection numbers for Ava's article with champagne. Maxie wonders how Ava will receive it when it shows "the real her"-- and Jax and Nina are like: WHO CARES?? OMG Jax asks why Nina didn't go into Nina's past more. OH Will he GO THERE?? you know, Nina basically made Ava give birth to steal her baby lol??! 
NOPE!! MORE AVa sins!! WOW.. ok, so he asks why she didn't put Nikolas' death in there. Nina says it's because it wasn't murder it was self defense. Jax goes on and on about Ava's crimes. Geesh. WHATEVER JAX! 

On the elevator to Crimson, Val and Ava talk about her psychic and Ava says something about past sins "after all you murdered Nikolas" . He said he was defending himself. "and you said so yourself when you signed that court paper"  Meow!
Valentin, Maxie and Ava walk in just as Nina is asking Jax about Cassandra Pierce.
OH MY GOD NOT WITH THE CASSANDRA PIERCE AGAIN. JFC.  Nina explains Cassandra's synthetic opioid drug connection. Jax and Val both look uncomfortable. 

Hank flashes back to the medic unit. Drew said an IED hit his Jeep. HE pulled Hank out but he says it was "his mistake".  I guess he got Hank out first because he is a civilian but he didn't get "Tex" out.  Shank had said he was a contractor when he was in Afghanistan.  He and Tex sold fuel to the enemy and Drew found out. Drew was going to turn SHiloh into the authorities "You're worse than the Taliiban"!! he shouts. Shiloh is all "I'm going to get my money back" (to himself) . In yet another flashback, Hank tries to talk Drew into selling the fuel with him but Drew says no and grabs him by the throat. 
IN THE PRESENT IN THE BAR: 
Drew walks over...Shiloh says something stupid about Oscar and Drew jumps him. Curtis pulls him off. He's getting the BBQ for home. Talks to Drew about not getting all hot headed around Shiloh.  Drew mentions having kids and what it can do to you. Is this a TRINA ANVIL? IS Curtis Trina's Daddy? Hmmmm... 

Funny thing: They show Shiloh stealing money a guy left for a tip to buy another beer lol 

Sunday Surgery: Snark Infested Waters

This week had it's light moments (baseball and birthdays) but if I have to see Sasha and Valentin argue ONE more time over breakfast  in the Metro Court I think I'll just stab myself. 

I have prepared for you a Snark Edition of the Blog this Sunday because I haven't done one in ages and I felt like it!! Enjoy!

Friday's Show: Birthday Party

Well, YESTERDAY was a big nothing burger. I guess unless you like to see sanitized baseball uniforms-- whatever. I loved last week and this week has just been recaps after recaps. IT'S SUMMER. Good gravy, get something going. 


I'm hopeful for today's show. I think Ryan is on so--that should be ok. 

JAIL: 

Harmony and Willow. Harmony is going to be the libraian -- Willow tells her Shiloh was arrested. Her mom is sad she put her through so much. 


Ryan and Curtis/Jordan: Visiting Ryan. Ryan fake-holds his "Kidney Scar" spot lol. Ryan baits Curtis about stealing his kidney. 
"My kidney has infected your heart and soul and you'll never get me out" LOL
Can Jordan now go around murdering people? Thanks.




BIRTHDAY PARTY: 

Aiden made his own cake "Happy Birthday to Me"...and he got a drum set.  Lulu asks about the reception. Nina and Charlotte got Aiden mixing bowls. Hayden shows up. Cam gives him a gift cert to see a pastry chef. Lulu's sad that Dante's not there. Sad, sad. Nina blows off Hayden who tries to talk to her. Then, When Willow comes, Nina tries to apologize to her. 

Lulu gets an envelope from a delivery guy. (How he found her at the back end of Perks at a kid's birthday party is anyone's guess). She got divorce papers. 


FLOATING RIB: 

Drew and Jason are building the tree house and getting dinner. They talk about Oscar leaving his ELQ shares to Shiloh. Can't quite figure it out.  Drew talks a bit about maybe knowing Shank from Navy SEALS and his memory stick. Jason thinks that Shiloh is lying about Drew saving his life. 

CHARLIE'S: 

Sonny is proud of Krissy for standing up to Shiloh. He gets a phone call. Speaks Spanish. See below.  He calls Jason to tell him Shiloh is out on bail. Tries to calm Krissy down about him being out. 

PCPD: 

Shiloh got out on bail.  Chase tells him he can't get a DNA test because it's forbidden. DAISY is there. She spent her entire trust fund on his bail and there's no money for a lawyer. Shank says "It's always darkest before the dawn". 

Shank and Daisy go to Charlie's to talk to Krissy and they forgive her. LOL  She says she's going to testify against him and tell everyone he's a sexual predator. Sonny calls him a 'cockroach". He and Daisy leave. 
Next, he  goes to see Harmony..he tries to talk her into raising the baby with him. She says she's going to testify against him and yells at him.

Ryan.. Sees Harmony and her book cart. Takes a DOD book. Says to give his regards to Nelle.

Shiloh flashes back to the war and Drew (who looks like Jason, remember) -- wakes him up when he's all bloody.

Corintho's House; THE MOSS IS BACK in the kitchen. DEvvvvvvvvvv asks about the compass and he and Joss argue about stuff. :sigh; Carly walks in. Joss apologizes to Dev for being  'wack job" when it comes to Oscar. He leaves to go fill out a W2 form. 
Carly and Joss have the EXACT same conversation about Dev that Carly and Jason have had at least 2x before. OMG. UGHH. EXACT.
When Sonny gets home they talk about Dev too. Yeah. :eyeroll: -- Carly wants him to go to boarding school but Sonny is like: no way. He has to 'learn about us and our family". 

CHARLIE'S BAR:  Sonny yells at Ava for giving a message to Avery from Kiki. "Now she wants Morgan to give her a message"!! He tells Ava to stop it or she'll "see what happens"... :eyeroll: Tells her to leave her psychic stuff away from Avery.  He leaves in a huff.  Goes back home. 

Cam shows Liz and Franco the car keys he got from Oscar.  He wants to keep it. They only have one car garage and Franco keeps his in the street where they have one permit. So, hes' thinking of the Quartermaine's house. They say he can keep it if he helps pay for upkeep. His license is suspended so he has to earn that back too.
Friz get their party photos. Franco feels sick. Maybe a cold coming on. While looking at the photos, he notices a leg in the background and thinks maybe someone was stalking Lesil. 


METRO COURT: Alexis and Willow are waiting For Diane and Brucas. Diane finally comes. Brucas shows up. Diane tells them all that Shiloh is in jail and she asked the judge to suspend all the family court stuff until the criminal case is done. Shiloh can't ask for any information on his 'son' until he's out either.  IF he's found innocent, he'd have to start all over from square one and petition the court. IF he's found guilty, he can't see his kid anyway. "Best possible outcome". 
Lucas wants to get Shiloh's medical records to make sure Wiley's DNA is ok and there's nothing in his genes that he may have. Brad is aghast lol 


GH : Brad has a needle ready to use on Dr. O and Nina walks in. He says he's just taking blood. Lucas comes in and says they have to go to the Metro Court.  Dr. O and Nina end up reading all about the DOD case and how Willow was in jail during the custody dispute. Nina realizes she may have tipped off Shiloh about Willow's baby and feels awful. 


THE PARK: (really, it's the real park)   Trina, Dev and Cam. Cam thinks he's late but he got his schedule mixed up. He can tell them about the car.  They tell him about the Niagara Falls road trip.  He says that they should have broken in.  Joss comes along. They talk about Dev after he leaves. Trina knows what Sonny does for a living. Thinks Dev might be bad news. 

The Roof

Lulu and Maxie . Lulu rips into Maxie for seeing Dante. (even tho she really wanted to).  Lulu says Maxie could have set Dante back a long way and now she'll never see him! 
Finn and Peter. Peter doesn't want Finn to all Anna. He doesn't want her motherly pity. Finn leaves. 


Lulu goes in to visit Peter. Why? I have no idea. I hope to punch him in the face. NOPE! she's glad he's all right and she knows it's not HIS fault, it's Maxie's. She leaves when Maxie comes in. Is crying in the hall and her Mother sees her and they hug.  She tells her Maxie was just trying to make her feel better. Maxie actually called her. Maxie comes out and Lulu looks at her.  They are going to make up. 

Drew and Curtis. Drew doesn't want to talk about Oscar or who drugged him on the HS. Then, Hayden comes in. She's the new CFO of the print division. Drew is NOT happy.  He wonders what she's up to. Remember she pretended to be his wife way back when... (Which I totally forgot about until Nina said it lol). 

Jax and Nina--more of the same blah blah.. Curtis says he'd better get into the Drew/Hayden discussion soon. Jax goes to the office of Drew.  Drew isn't happy. "Do you know she embezzled money from GH"??
"Yes I am " says Jax
Later we find out that Jax and Hayden are both in town to take down Valetin. 

Robert goes into Charlie's and sees Julian is running it. He says he remembers when he got Jules into the witness protection program and he immediately went back to his life of crime. Julian says now he has someone to stay on the straight and narrow for. (Kim) who walks in. Says she's sorry. I think about drugging Drew. She saw Dr. Massey today (off camera) and talked to her about the drugging. Too bad we didn't see it. 

Robert meets Finn and they talk about Peter. Ugh ..Finn can't tell Anna about Peter but Robert can.  Finn tells Robert not to tell Anna.  Robert realizes that Finn doesn't want Anna home because of Hayden. 

On the roof of GH...Sibley asks Ava for money, then says let's contact Kiki! They are sitting on boxes with Pier One bedspreads on them.  She's telling her she's going to be "channeling" not being a medium.  (Like Whoopi in Ghost lol)... Anyway, Kikii comes through in Sibley 'No mother, it's me". 'Kiki" tells Ava about the necklace that she gave Sibley and that she didn't wear it after she drugged Sasha. Ava says "everyone knows about that"-- then "Kiki says that Ava almost slapped her in Kelly's but she caught her hand" So Ava believes it's her. 
Kiki says she doesn't want to talk to her EVER AGAIN. 
Ava pleads for her to stay she says no..and 'leaves'. Ava thinks it's so Sibley can charge more money. Sibley says "oh Kiki's back" and wants to tell Avery she misses her. 

Ava says she wants to talk to someone else. I of course, think it's Morgan but it's NIKOLAS?? HUH???  Anyway, she can't 'find him on the other side"... so.. is he alive? 

From Ithaca to Port Charles

Finn and Alexis. She's coming out of AA meeting..he missed it. She asks if he wants to talk about Hayden. He says yes. Yeah! Love this friendship.  He says she came back after he'd moved on. She's a reminder of his failure. Alexis says she feels that when she sees Ned...and Sonny..and Ric and.. Julian LOL. Finn's saying he moved on but Anna's MIA. 

Ava and Jules.. he says he's proud of her for moving on. Ava gets a call from Sibley. Kristina overhears and gets a weird look on her face.  When Ava gets off the phone, she asks Krissy what is up. Krissy loves Sibley Gamble who "helped solve a murder in Rochester" (WHOO HOO) ..Julian over hears and is like WTH are you doing Ava?? A psychic??  She says to shut up --HIS kids are alive.  She "felt" Kiki when she was with Sibley. He thinks she's just trying to take her money.  Ava tells him to buzz off. She leaves. 
Alexis comes in.. of course she does. She and Jules banter and they have a "truce".  She tells Kristina and he that Shiloh was arrested and it's "over". (yeah, we know it's not over over) LOL. 

Dev at the Metro. Laura takes a call, walks away from the table. Dev sees her purse and knocks it on the floor. Jason steps in. He asks Carly what she thinks of him. She says he saved Sonny's life an Sonny really wants to mentor him so they should let him. 

Then, Laura and Hayden sit down ..Laura shows her a pic of Spencer and Hayden says how old he looks. They mention Nikolas. They talk about Spencer doing better but Valetin taking the family home. Weird they didn't say because he MURDERED HIS FATHER--but.. ??  SO, Hayden talks about almost taking the money from GH but Laura points out she put it back. She mentions how dark Nikolas was 'at the end' and she thinks he would have redeemed himself. Ava walks by and says "If he'd lived long enough". Ava asks Laura if she ever thinks she can 'talk" to Nikolas. Laura says 'he's always in her heart". 

Lulu and Sonny . She wants Dante home..he's missing everything. She wants Sonny to find him.  She just tells him how much she misses him.. and he had scars all over his back.  Sonny didn't know. She tells him about the torture BUT STILL WANTS HIM BACK so she can be "whole". UGHHHH. LULU. 

So, Maxie goes in and the shot rings out and PETER IS HIT!! YESSSS!! In the shoulder (damn it ) LOL but he's hit!! It's a Through and Through wound so he has to go to a civilian hospital. Maxie says it has to be GH!!  They get there in about 3 seconds. He's in the ER (empty lol) and won't need surgery. Finn sees Maxie looking at her bloody hands.  She tells Finn that Dante shot Peter and it's her fault because she insisted on seeing him. Dante was the one that shot Peter. "What is wrong with me"?? "Why don't I ever learn"?? 
Peter is going to be fine.
Lulu hears about it, runs in... Maxie has to tell her that Dante shot Peter lol. 

Sunday Surgery: SPLASH

This week started off with a rip-roaring SPLASH, didn't it?? So much happened on that boat, I was glued to it like a fly.  Two days of "the other cast" also got to interact and take center stage. What a difference it made. 

So, in the wedding brunch tradition, it's going to be poached eggs and strawberries. 

GH Character Transformations Part One

Note: I find myself needing another day off 

so here's a post that David and I wrote to use for just such occasion.  

Which characters have come and gone from GH --and made HUGE transformations? Pretty much all the villains. (Helena is about the only one that remained totally evil over time). Here is the beginning of our series! Enjoy! 

LUCY COE

Lynn Herring

We Love Lucy. It's that simple. Lynn Herring is a treasure to the show. If you go anywhere  online to look up the character, you will always find the same thing written about her; that she  came onto the show as a "mousy librarian". Not the most flattering term, but I guess it is correct. She didnt stay that way for long and soon she came into her character as a vixen to be reckonned with. 

In the early years, Lucy was vindictive, shrewish and a schemer. She was the "bad girl" when  she came on the show and was very manipulative. She usually wound up with a Doctor, or at very least someone with substantial income so she can climb the ladder, if you will. And that was usually her goal. Money and social standing. As time went on, however, there was a  change in Lucy. She went from being selfish and greedy to having a conscience and a  soul and went from bad girl to loveable yet quirky heroine.

If you really want to know the legacy of Lucy's character transformation, it was evident during the  anniversary show this year during the reading of Gail's will. Lucy was in a room with Monica and found an old handkerchief that belonged to Alan. The former selfish self-centered Lucy would have given Monica a long-winded speech about how Alan would have wanted her to have it, and how she didnt have any momentos from her time with Alan and how Monica got  the house and Lucy got nothing but a tattered old red wedding dress. Monica would have said  "Oh, just take it if it means that much to you". Instead, we had the very selfless Lucy who immediately  handed it to Monica and said "this belongs to you. You were always his queen”. THAT is the transformation of Lucy. From selfish to selfless. And that is why we love Lucy.

PS. Fun Fact: Did you know that Lynn Herring was 4th runner up in the 1977 Miss USA Pageant? Look it up on youtube.

PAUL HORNSBY

Paul Hornsby came to Port Charles looking like Christopher Reeve’s younger brother and then left the show looking like that guy from Desperate Housewives. He was no saint. Not by any stretch of the means. But in his first foray into PC, all his crimes were basically white collar, mainly dealing with financial takeover of ELQ. He was trapped into a marriage with Tracy, even though he loved Jenny. He eventually married Jenny and they had a child. (Ned was called to GH when he was told that his wife was in the ER, thinking it was Lois he was surprised to see Jenny in labor. It was a really good scene, but I cant find it on youtube) With his all-American boyish good looks, it is easy to remember him leaving the show as a “good guy” with his wife Jenny.

Then 2015 happened. Paul returned to the show and although he was still a criminal, he was an extremely deranged criminal. Actually, a serial killer. The first incarnation of Paul would do a lot of damage, and may have hurt people if needed, but there was no way he was a killer. Not like this. Both portrayals were memorable in their own way, but it is clear the characters were vastly different and the Burgi portrayal was a shock to all of us.

Two Days Off and...

Back at the CarSon grind. Now, I know they are stars of the show but it was SO nice to have other characters interact and take center stage the past 2 days. Loved Liz talking to Jax and Finn and working that room. It's just been eaten by those two lately. Just having the days off made me happy.


OMG THE MOSS MOVED TO THE PATIO LOL.. I think they are messing with us!! Joss gets Carly to drink some green juice. Carly's worried about Joss going to the Will reading.  She and Cam leave for the Q's. 

Kim and Drew meet in the park at the meadow. Kim is sorry and Drew says he won't press charges. He's pissed tho. She says she's getting help and seeing Dr. Massey (that was Chandra Wilson's character when she guested!) later. They go to the reading of the Will. 

OSCAR'S WILL: Q household: Monica, Ned, Alexis and Olivia get things ready for everyone. Jason is executor but because he's "off grid" (hiding from Beecher Billy) they'll do it without him. 
People arrive. There's a box with personal items to distribute. Alexis reads the will. He says it's the only way to let people know how much they mean to him now. 
Monica- a tour guide to Cleveland-- because she gave him a tour of PC
Michael -who 'showed him the darkroom at the Q's"--a photo of he and Wiley that Oscar took
Olivia and Ned-- gave Leo his keyboard
Cameron got his car 
Josslyn -- gave her back the compass she gave him. She runs out and "can't take it" anymore.  Cam finds her in the park. Flashback to her giving it to Oscar. 
He gives Drew the glass they stole for his DNA lol ...cute 
Kim gets his Mr. Bear.. I did tear up a bit.
AND OMG. 
WOW. He gives his ELQ shares to someone that 'helped him out in his time of need' and who will use the shares to "do good in the world" AND IT'S SHILOH!
LORDY. EESH 


Sonny, Brick and Jason. They talk about Dev's new ID and Sonny fills Jason in on the history of DEVVVVVVVVV. Jason doesn't think he should stay at the house. Then Carly and Dev walk in.  They give Dev the envelope. He's happy. Jason thinks Sonny should think of the other people in the house before asking Dev to stay. Sonny tries to sell Dev to Jason. 
Dev comes back and recites his new ID and American accent. 


Michael sees Shiloh trying to talk to Sasha and he THROWS him on the ground! LOL pretty violently too. wow. Michael tells him to beat it. He leaves. Michael has a banal convo with Sasha about going away together. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz he goes to the Q's too. Carly ends up talking to Shasha about her mom and finding her way to PC, yada yada. "maybe what you're looking for is right here".. 


Sam is at the PCPD..Robert and Mac are there too. She's going to give them Waitress's statement. I can't remember that waitress name..Carol? Yes, it's Carol. Robert says she has to make her statement at the Beecher's Corners' PCPD and Sam says she can't because it's crawling with DOD people.  Robert schools Sam about hearsay and why he can't take it to a judge. She doesn't get it. Chase erupts. Robert and Mac take a walk to give him a chance to cool off. Chase and Sam try to think of a way to get Willow out and get Shiloh.  She calls Jason. He turns himself in and tomorrow will bring  Harmony in as a witness against Shiloh. 

Hayden Factor

Oh boy, did I forget a lot about what happened when she left 2 years ago! Read her complete history on Soaps In Depth. It was a much needed catch-up for me. I had thought she embezzled money from GH (she didn't do it in the end) and wasn't sure about the baby thing. (they did show her pregnant after she said she lost the baby in a letter). 

Are you glad she's back? While I like Rebecca Buding, Hayden's character is just another character to add to the long-long list on GH.  I'm glad she's Liz's sister and has that connection. I like Finn and Anna so -?? I'm am intrigued about Jax and she.  I've tried to like the NuNina but until and if she ever finds her voice, she's just a snooze. She kept NONE of Michelle's zany qualities, making Nina so one-note it's painful. 

Anyway, it's always interesting when a past character shows up and it's NOT from 'the dead'.  

Well, HELLOOOOOO

The kids hear DR. O thank GOODNESS! She's rescued. Brad is looking suspicious and so is Valentin. 



Hayden says she wouldn't have missed the party for 'the world" Finn looks sick. She says hi to Curtis and she kisses JAX!!!!!! I MEAN SHE KISS-ESSSSS JAX! I did not expect that! LOL Whoa. She tells Curtis they met in Rome on a project and "Enjoy each other" !! Okay then! She asks Jax later if he accepts her 'proposal"

Drew is staggering around. Thinks he drank too much. She undresses him 1/2 way and says he'll forgive her once he sees Oscar's brother or sister. Barf. OH! She gets undressed but JULIAN WALKS IN!!  "What the hell is going on here"! Thank you JULIAN for stopping that mess.  He asks Kim who tells her she drugged Drew. He said what if Drew did that to HER? She pleads and cries, seems to see what she's done. He gets her out of there and Drew is asleep in the bed. 
Later, Drew wakes up is disoriented. I thought he was going to stagger out and fall off but Curtis finds him.  Drew then remembers that it was Kim that did it to him.  Curtis wants to call Jordan to tell her but Drew says no "The person that did this is in enough trouble as it is". 
Julian and Kim go back to the mainland he says he will get her help and stand by her. 

Peter and Maxie are at the Metro..with Lulu, who's meeting someone to date. Wait, why aren't they are the party? I mean?? IS that weird?? Peter and Maxie talk about ITHACA. She decides to call Frisco. Oh! Frisco says SURE!! So they are going to Ithaca. 

Lulu's date is VERY soap looking and I wonder if I've seen him before?? AH! He's Brody from OLTL- Mark Lawson. He's a good actor. I like him. HE's a HS teacher and supposedly NOT the robber..but??  When Lulu is ready to leave he says he has to start his 'other job'.which is an UBER driver. Lulu is pleased to find out that he's driving her. Character name: Dustin Phillips. 

Ava's too mouthy lol, The psychic is like You're going to scare her away!  She says Kiki is gone. Ava yells at her to get her back! All of a sudden Ava says "SHE"S HERE"!! The Psychic says that Kiki is sorry she missed their special dinner. 
Her name is Sibley
Ava believes her after she told her about the dinner. Begs her to get Kiki back. Psychic says she could 'channel her' but it will take time and preparation. "once that door is opened, it's hard to close".  They are going to set something up for later. What if MORGAN shows up? LOL 

Out on the deck, Franco tells Liz that Dr. O kept telling him about Lucas and Brad and Wiley not being their son or about the father and Bobbie overhears them.  She bee-lines to Brad and tells him that Friz knows something and Dr. O might spill. "Go and tell Lucas and then call Alexis" she says. 

Nice ending scene with Friz...but is is TOO perfect?? Hmmmmm..... 

Celebration of Friz!

I have a follow up with the plastic surgeon today so I don't think I'll be able to post. My nose is better but one side is a bit smashed still. BOO. So, I got some photos from Twitter to share of the party. Like I said, ABC made the mistake of posting them early so--enjoy!

Sunday Surgery: Vet This

OMG and we've all been on the show forever!!

I think I posted this photo  on Facebook and maybe here too but I don't care because I love it! Everything's right with the world. Laura's mayor, we have our new DA and Commish-- a trio of fun. Now, we just have to all hope they are on more than 2x a month! 

I had way too many Pina Coladas last night so.. I'm just going to sit here and drink water. Ugh. 

Sandwiches in the Kitchen

Weird day...meaning I forgot it was even Friday because yesterday was a holiday so-- I'm off. LOL 
Hope you had a nice one. I ate corn on the cob which is basically my fave summer food. Not local but still good! 




OMG I thought the FRIZ party was today but NOPE.. that's next week. So if you don't watch just read this. 

Dr. Neal's office, Kristina is ready to tell Alexis about "the secret"  She tells Neal about Keifer . She then says she lied to Shiloh and said her mom ran over Keifer on purpose. Which she didn't. Kristina tells her she told him that because he wanted something like that. She thought a lie would be better than a real betrayal of something her father did. They hug. Forgiveness

Kids in the Kitchen. As boring as the sammy Dev made. Michael meets him.  He tells Joss she should go to the party with Cam. Leaves. Trina comes in-- meets Dev. They are trying hard to have Joss and Dev "Banter". Trina's looking at Cam like "Why didn't you ask me to this party"?? Anyway, Joss says no, she's not ready. Cam and Trina leave. 

Sonny gets Brick to help make Dev a "member of his family". He sees Shiloh and his attorney-- says he'll pay her double what Shank is paying her to quit.  She says no thank you and when he leaves, asks Shiloh if he uses 'those dimples on every lawyer". She tells him he has to prove Wiley is his kid. 

Sonny tells Brick that Dev can pass as an American because he learned it on TV and Movies. Thank GOD the accent is going away!! Brick will get the papers and they'll drill him until he has his back story down pat. 

Sam as a waitress. For some reason she had to go "undercover" to get her statement? UM?? and also, Waitresses wear frosted lipstick and giant pink hoop earrings?? HHAAHAA. The waitress thinks Sam is going to hurt her dog or something. Sam's like NO! I'm one of the good guys! Later, Beecher Billy Cop comes in and Sam's alone.  She says she's new in town. He tells her about DOD. 
Then, after cop leaves, the waitress gives her story to Sam who records it on her phone. 

Jason goes to see Harmony to tell her he knows Shiloh killed her husband. She yells and says he's a liar.  He goes through Shiloh's whole back story .yells at her about what happened to Willow. She falters a bit. Then, in a change of heart she recounts the story of Shiloh and that he probably killed her husband.

Kristina yells at Shiloh.. tells him the whole pledge was a lie. 
Trina is going to the reception with Cam
Dr. Neal says that he'll take Alexis back as a patient.

Alexis looks up Dr. Neal's daughter's death, she died in 2014. Runs into Krissy. She kinda wants to know what Krissy told Shiloh but Kristina doesn't want to tell her. 

Alexis goes in for her appt with Dr. and lets it slip she knows he had a daughter that died. He gets pissed--whoa. Tells her he won't treat her anymore and to leave. 

Cam gets the day off for the wedding reception.  Laura is in there talking about fireworks and Friz are talking about the party.  Cam doesn't want to bring anyone to the reception and says he won't have fun.
Laura is taking him out to lunch (as his gram I think?) and she wants to know why he's so snotty to his parents. He says he doesn't like Franco and he probably won't stick around anyway. Laura says he's had a lot of father figures come and go..so she understands. After her pep-talk Cam is going to take a date to the rehearsal party.

Sonny's meeting his cousin in Bridgeport --I guess to get the ID for Dev? So his cousin shows up and says "um..we never even MET and why do you want to see me" Sonny asks her about her son that died in Iraq. OH HELL NO is he going to ask for his identity? No..he's not.
Oh man, this is very bizarre to explain. The son that died in Iraq had no kids. Sonny  says "He does now"..and pushes money to the cousin. He wants her to explain to the officials that her son married a woman in Iraq that died in childbirth and that kid is Dev. The hell? She says the envelope isn't big enough. He gives her more money. She'll get that amount every month. And he threatens her if she tells. "you've done your research, you know what happens to people when they double cross me".  At least he SOUNDS like a real mobbie guy. 

She takes the money. 

Dev and Joss are having a boring convo in the kitchen. Good God, can teens BE anymore yawn-inducing??  He mentions America and choices.. yada yada. They are cutting up carrots. SUCH A TEEN STORY. 

Scotty's still proposing to Bobbie. She asks if he's insane and that she's not dying and doesn't want a "pity proposal".  They talk about things but NO flashbacks... Bobbie "You never said you love me" . Scotty realizes it was dumb. Scoots away. Later he talks to Franco who advises he ask her out instead. They are going to the Friz party together.

Kristina goes into the jail to see Willow.  They talk about why Willow's in jail and secrets. Then, she goes back to the Dr's and wants to talk to him with Alexis about the secret. But! Alexis got kicked out! 

FRIDAY: Sam's "Undercover" as a waitress in Beecher's Diner-- Jason talks to Harmony and Krissy and ALexis see Dr. Neal.

Jax calls Carly. He has a SNAZZY new orange office lol. HE has a new '55 Porsche too and wants her to go to lunch. She says no, she's busy. He can tell something is wrong. Sonny comes in and Carly was googling Spina Bifida. He's like, NOPE don't do that. She wonders if they can handle having a child with a severe birth defect. Sonny says that they have the money, resources and Support System. Carly says it's for a life time and she's not sure she's strong enough. They talk about Mike.. and Carly says the baby will be a gift. They hug, say they are scared. 

Ava and Scotty. Ava looks SO GOOD. Maura West is spectacular. Scotty needs a friend. He wants nookie, she thinks he's having a midlife crisis. She tells him to get a Ferrari. She goes to see Jax and tells him the interview is off. Curtis is there (in a suit looking damn fine) and they leave. He's going to plant a bug I think. 




Franco tells Liz to get out of his studio. He's probably doing a present for her.  Scotty comes over later and they have juice boxes. Scotty wants a companion. He describes his perfect woman and it's basically Ava.. He says he felt good when he saved Bobbie the other day. 

Bobby thanks Epiphany. She went online and is becoming pro-active with her diabetes. 

Charlie's.. TJ Stella, Jordan.. Curtis and Finn. Finn was talking to Anna who's seeing Alexis.

He goes over to see Jordan who wishes she was working. They are all having breakfast.  TJ wants to leave med school to help with medical bills. Stella and Jordan yell at him.

Jax had a file on Cassandra Pierce who Finn also mentioned to Chase. :eyeroll: Please NO. She was the one that wanted Finn to "cure" her to make weird drugs. Valentin was in business with her. :eyeroll: 

Ava wants to see a psychic. 

Scotty asks Bobbie to marry him and go into an RV with him.
