Brianna Brown, our own "Dr. Lisa Niles" (who's "waking up" on GH!) is running the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday. Brown, who's from Apple Vally is running the race with friends and family to honor her grandparents.
The race is for NAMI-Dakota County, an organization that her grandparents, Jean and Tom Brown, started for their daughter, who suffered from schizophrenia. The grass-roots organization is 100 percent volunteer-based and consists of family members trying to help loved ones who are suffering from mental illnesses. Good luck and happy running.
