So This Is Christmas

Lexi is in Oklahoma filming her movie "So This Is Christmas" with
Eric Roberts and Vivica A Fox.

The film  began Oct. 15, for four-plus weeks, in the Tulsa area at sites including Utica Square, Will Rogers High School, the Spotlight Theater and River Parks.
The story is  a tale of redemption that follows a teen girl who turns her empty life around and finds meaning by giving back to others.

Talent in front of the camera: The lead character is played by Lexi Ainsworth, an Oklahoma City native and veteran of film and TV who earlier this year was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award as outstanding young actress for her performances in "General Hospital." Her character is a member of an interesting family mix that includes parents played by film veterans Eric Roberts of "Runaway Train" and "The Dark Knight" and Vivica A. Fox of "Independence Day" and "Kill Bill, Vol. 1." The girl's brother is played by Titus Makin Jr., who appeared in six episodes of "Glee" last season as one of the Warblers.

Can't wait to see more of this!! This movie has a 2012  release date, btw..

  1. Per IMDB it's an independent movie. It will be shown on the film festival circuit, with hopes of getting a distributer and a 2012 release date. This movie will probably never make it to theaters. With luck it could come out on dvd.

The total budget of the movie is less than $700,000.

  3. I said a couple weeks ago that Nathan had grown as an actor - we all used to put him down. I agree, he is a bright light in a dull room. Geesh...the Hawaii thing is awful, the boat is worse. Really - it's not even a party - it's just plain awful. I don't even look forward to 3 PM anymore, tho I haven't in a while. OLTL on the other hand, that's the soap to watch, and the one that should not have been cancelled. It was awesome before they were even cancelled. That soap uses it's veteran actors, consistently, and intertwines EVERYONE. I will be sad to see that go. GH writers could learn a thing or two from OLTL writers.

  5. As a fellow Oklahoman, I am very proud of Lexi. She has a great career ahead of her and is much better off now. This is a blessing in disguise. You go Lexi!

  6. I must agree. Lexi is a young talented girl, why be stuck on a sinking ship??
Whats the difference if she is done with GH now or in 8 months??

She can walk away with her held up high now. Rather than when the show is cancelled.
