Goodbye Lexi !!

One of my fave GH actors is leaving the "nest" today-- well, it's the last day she'll be on our screens as Kristina Davis. You know my feelings on this. NOT Happy in WubTown! I think she's done a wonderful job with the part and will be so sad to see her go. Yesterday's show with Maurice choking up and NLG basically losing it was so emotional. Today, she'll say bye to Ethan. I hear in December, "Kristina" will come back  as a "new and vamp-proved" character.  Good luck with that. This is a time that GHers need familiarity, not newbies or recasts. I don't care WHAT you have planned for her. I guess we should be glad that Kim McCollough talked them into keeping her years ago or Robin would be a giant boobed glamor girl.

LEXI is on to bigger and better things already... "So This is Christmas" is filming now. Her Official Website is great, so give it a visit! I wish her nothing but the best and success. She'll always have her Daytime Family to follow her wherever she goes (whether she likes it or not! LOL).

Lexi was nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year. Follow her on twitter: @_LexiAinsworth

  1. Nicely written article.
GH was the beginning of a truly fantastic career for this young lady.
She made watching this show a little easier for us. Now she is gone.

She will be missed by me.

  3. I love Lexi! She is a fantastic actress. Today is her last day on GH and today is also the last day I watch GH.

Lexi should never have been fired. She and her chemistry with Nathan Parsons (Ethan) is/was a GOD given gift! and GH threw it away for a recast (Carly #2) that we don't want!
    Forget GH.

  4. Lexi will be greatly missed on GH. I've been crying through her scenes for the last three days. It's too hard to watch it, but you are right. She is on to bigger and better things! You are already missed Lexi, but I know you have a bright future ahead of you! MUAH!

  5. Lexi was a breath of fresh air who brought it during every scene she played on GH. She is not the first sweet-spirited girl GH didn't know how to keep: Georgie, Emily, etc. At least Lexi got the tearful goodbyes she deserved. Not a funeral.

This kind and lovely young lady does have a magnificent career ahead of her. Her daytime family will always look at her proudly and say, "We knew her when . . . "

All the best to you, a class act, Lexi!

    Love, Laura

  10. I didn't get to see today's GH yet, but I will say the last few days with the Davis family on the show have been bittersweet for me with seeing Lexi and knowing what's ahead! One thing the viewers would like is some stability! That doesn't happen when we keep getting storylines/editing which is so choppy and sloppy, the viewer needs motion sickness pills to keep up with it all. Not to mention seeing all these newbies coming in left and right while existing characters and vets which could be used are basically given the shaft!

As has been said, I wish Lexi all the best. She's a talented young lady who deserved to be treated much better!

  11. I haven't seen today either.
The thing about Lexi is she 'softened' the pain we were feeling watching the other stuff!

  12. Nathan Parsons and Lexi Ainsworth were the reason I watched GH. Both are amazing actors which natural chemistry. Lexi will go on to a bright career, but we will be left with a darker GH without her as Kristina. The Davis girls will never be the same.

Although we will miss you so much on GH, what you said last night is true- things happen for a reason and I believe only good things will come. Thanks again for all of your support for Reluctant Heart...love you tons! Chrissy :)

  18. I am will miss Lexi so much on GH. It was fun to watch her evolve the character into a mature woman. It saddens me how much the powers that be are missing how important she is and what a fanbase she brings to the show. I wish her all the best in her career, and while I wish she was still on GH, I am beyong happy for her for moving on in a class manner and becoming a star!

  19. I didn't know this was going to Lexi herself. So I would like to add on some stuff.

Lexi, You are super talented and so kind and you really love your fans and we love you! You should never have been let go. You are Kristina Davis to me and many, many others! With you being let go, I'm done with GH. Your chemistry with Nathan Parsons got me hooked on GH again and kept me watching since... but without you on GH, there is no point. You were truly a gift to GH and I am praying and fighting along with others for you to be re-hired.

Love you Lexi! you are going to go so beyond far in life!

Also, I can't wait for your new movie!

  22. Lexi you are a very talented young women. It saddens me so much that you are no longer on GH. You are and will always be Krissy to me. However, there lost is your gain. You are now free to persue bigger and greater things.

  23. Lexi-you should be so proud of the work you did on GH. Your abuse storyline was incredible. Never let anyone else's opinion change what is true. You are talented, beautiful and such a giving person. GH lost such an incredible actress and such a voice for the show with the fans. I wish you the best!

  24. Lexi I think you are a fabulously talented actress that has more class than pretty much any other actor or actress I have seen.

I loved your work with everyone on the show of GH. Your chemistry with every character was superb. I really felt that I was watching a family when it came to the Davis grls n ur scenes with MB. All of ur scenes down the very last one with Ethan were great and the last ones had me crying!

I will miss you and while a part of me will always wish we could have you back on GH and see how fantastic your romance with Ethan would have been; I know you are on to bigger n better things n I will continue to track your road to a bigger success!!

You will forever be my only Kristina!!!
