In 2003, GH was letting many MANY legacy characters go... John Ingle was fired (and brought back) but many more like Kristina Wagner never returned. This was an email that went out to many fans that wrote regarding the show. I thought you'd like to see it because it just...well, burns me up lol:
I realize you have concerns about GH right now. However, the writers are trying to reduce GH to a core group of characters, for financial and storyline considerations. Because of that, several actors have been/will be let go. Change is hard, but GH will continue to be Must-See-TV in the new year, I promise you. Stay tuned. There is so much great stuff coming up.

So that's why Frons has such a big nose! His nose grew 12 inches long with that lie!! He's aweful! I can't wait for actors to truly dish on him after they leave GH.
ReplyDeleteIt's clear he chose his own favorites. Even the pic ABC uses (of Dante,Sam,Jason,Sonny, and Carly ) to advertise the show disgusts me.He built a show around the least favorite characters with horrible storylines and now the show is tanking.

With all the talent that is on GH, they chose to butcher these actors into portraying storylines.
The one thing Sonny, Jason, Carly have over the rest, is they are laughing all the way to the bank.
I can't believe I found this. I was looking at my website and old pages I had made. I remember people were so mad when he fired Anna Lee-- and then John Ingles...Vanessa left and he got rid of Kristina Wagner. It was a BAD YEAR. Then, he sent these stupid letters out.

ReplyDeleteSonya, my first page was in 1999 but that was the "Lazy Lobster Pub" when I was just learning HTML. My other pages go back to about 2000 or so... I have Awards I think from 2003 on...

ReplyDeleteOkay, wow, that's one of the most offensive letters I've ever seen sent out to people. At least the letter to Netflix users when they raised their fees was amusing, this is just infuriating. It's depressing as hell also, since the show has done nothing but fail since and we now appear to be reliving the year 2003. Soon there will be more new characters than familiar faces. =(

I swear it's starting to feel like they are just playing casting couch with hot women under the guise of casting for a well known tv show.
