Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...
As someone who doesn't put much in Raven's 'reports', I hope this one is true!!! Brandon is an excellent actor, he is wasting his time and talent at GH. Also he has worked my last nerve for years.

She never names names. I am certain someone asked her to leak it. Ergo, it's coming-and they want it saved. Get everyone riled up. Write in to save him.

ReplyDeleteOf course we are losing too many characters.. Jason, Sonny, Kemo, Carly are all LOCKED in with a contract.
ReplyDeleteEveryone else has a contract to renew, and they are getting out while they can. GH is over. Someone needs to let Frons, Sweeney, Mr & Mrs Wolfie Guza that they can post their bullsh*t, but we know its over.

ReplyDeleteI believe raven and I am not surprised that they are writing him out. Perhaps it is one of the golden four that are always featured in advertisements ( steve, lelly, maurice, Laura ) who leaked it and don't want him to leave.However, he should leave. Now I wish Rebecca would leave but I think Julie Marie is going to announce next. Her character is supposed to be attacked.

ReplyDeleteI grow so weary reading blow after blow each day about this show. I wasn't watching for SO many years, it's absolutely horrible to find myself this emotionally involved just in time to watch the entire canvas be ripped to shreds. I hate this.
ReplyDeleteI believe Raven 100% on this one. Bradford's response is adorable, but there is zero reason to assume he would be informed OR that he would be legally allowed to confirm at this point. Raven flat out said that this wouldn't be confirmed for awhile. She was right about Becky, I have absolutely no doubt this is true.
Why his name is being used is something to ponder indeed... I would like to know how (or more importantly, why) that came about.
This does make it sound like Spin is going to be the killer, which I find ludicrous.
All in all, my own reaction surprises me. When I wasn't watching GH, but still saw bits every single day because people living with me watched, I wanted to absolutely tear my hair out when Spinelli was on. I pretty much ran out of the room every time he opened his mouth. I am a computer geek and can happily say I've never encountered a SOUL who talks the way he used to. I just absolutely detested the character, along with whoever created this annoying caricature of a hacker.
When I started watching again, last year, I ended up going back (thanks to YouTube) and watching everything from 2007 to present; to my own shock and horror, I found myself in love with Spinelli. Lately he's so far from his old self that I don't know what to think. I haven't really appreciated him since the whole Film Noir kick, but I am depressed to think that the Spinelli I finally fell in love with is going to be distorted into some kind of insane monster, unaware of his own capabilities, never getting his true back story, and unceremoniously kicked off the set and told to find a new way to care for his wife and baby girl.
When I was watching the show yesterday I found myself counting the people I wouldn't be surprised to see leave the show in the near future. There are very few people not on it, maybe Dante? Bradford hadn't occurred to me. I guess I figured both of them were new enough to not be a huge financial drain, making them safer than a lot of the others. So much for my theories. I wonder who it'll be tomorrow. =(

Bradford would not be allowed to release whether he is leaving or not until an official statement is made. They always deny it. They denied jj leaving for months and the rumor had been out months before. Look, raven is right, he as well as many others are leaving. Karen had it up on her blog for months , that many stars will leave GH. I believe it and it is hardly surprising considering the condition of the show.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why JMB is still there. The rumors had been out for a long time that she was displeased with the show and wanted to leave for greener pastures. Why the heck are you staying?? Her character is terribly annoying. The spencers have been reduced to bitter love regretting hallucinating weak drunks. JUST LEAVE. DISNEY, FRONS, ABC, DECIDED ALONG TIME AGO TO END THE SOAP GENRE.
ReplyDeleteJMB is more than likely still there because technically she is still on contract. I believe as contracts are coming due, actors are chosing to leave. Patrick has a contract coming up in a few months, I wonder if he stays?
ReplyDeleteOf course the actors are not allowed to reveal anything about their status. If they are leaving or staying.
Let's just say this: IMO, unless they are brand new to the show, and their names are not Sonny, Jason, Liz, Carly or Sam, they will be with the show until June.
Which, in reality, isn't that much longer.
PS. I only say Liz because the viewers like her. GH need her.

I hate to say it, but contracts mean nothing. There have been many newcomers over the years who got a contract only to be let go shortly thereafter. Happens on all the soaps. If the actor isn't a good fit or whatever, they are gone.

Laura W. probably just doesn't care - the winery seems to be her no. 1 priority. All she ever does is plug it on Twitter constantly.

ReplyDeleteI got tired of Spinelli about 4 years ago. I like the actor but the character grates. Now if only Sam would leave, I would be happy.
