Oh our poor Elizabeth... what is happening? Here she is...a MAJOR LEGACY character from a MAJOR LEGACY FAMILY and---?? Her THREE BOYS, all of 'age' for ripe soapy drama are off canvas!! Cameron went to college in California years ago and I know that William Lipon left for college himself but a recast could be done easily. Hudson West recently said he didn't want to leave the show but Jake was written off. Why?? WHY WHY!? Danny and Jake would have a natural rivalry, correct? Or at least brotherly strife. Jason juggling two kids would be another bonus.
Then there's Aidan. Son of Liz and Lucky, (who should have been named Lenny or another L name) he could have been SO much if left in Port Charles. He came out as gay which was never really explored and was tossed to the side pretty fast. Then his baking came to the forefront and I was hoping he'd be on canvas more doing things around town or maybe for The Metro. (a little internship in the pastry dept) BUT NOPE!! The biggest miss was his recasting in 2024 with someone who looked way older than he should for the part. When I looked back, Aidan was last seen in June of 2025. This is a travesty! He would be around the same age (by soapy standards) as Rocco, Danny and Char. Makes Zero sense.
What do you think? Don't we need Liz' family up front and center? The Dante friendship/something more would also fit right in there. Why the heck send the last one left to Europe? Ugh.
Yes, I'm out today. I'm seeing the Elizabeth Holmes documentary and it's three freaking hours long so it interrupts my GH vieweing!!
