USA TODAY reports that Vanessa Marcil will be back on GH beginning August 11th.."with a secret" (Dear GOD: let it not be another Corinthos Kid). Will BOTH Sonny and Jax be "unattached"!!?? OR, horrors...with FRANCO'S KID!! ahhahahaaa...no, don't even go there.
SoapNet is saying she'll have a secret that will rock Sonny, Jax AND Jason. She's been living in PARIS ...Franco's last known addy. WHO knows...many are hoping for a Jack's baby-- we shall see. Maybe her surprise is she's transgendering to a man. LMAO

Don't care. Won't be bringing this original BBBasher back. I know that this will be probably one return that will not just be big fanfare then Guza lose interest. Of course, I resent that as a TR fan.
ReplyDeleteLove me some Brenda! I think it will be interesting to see how they write her return given the nature of all the other storylines going on at the moment. It will also be interesting to see the response from fans- seems most people are tired of the mob drama and not too pumped about the Franco bit. Perhaps Guza can redeem himself a tad with this one??? Maybe, maybe not...

I would love to see Brenda, Carly, Olivia and Kate all sit down and reminisce about Sonny - since according to him he had these great love affairs with each and every one of them. It would be awesome to see them dish on Sonny. Maybe there would be a consensus that Sonny is a mysogist-sexist-abusive man wrapped up in dimples.
ReplyDeleteI am absolutely thrilled! Let's hope her and Robin can revisit their bff friendship. Hell, only Maxie & Lulu are friends on the entire flipping show. Only downer is that they will link her to Franco.. I do hope she has a Jasper Jax Jr with her. Would love to see Carly squirm. And the money? Who gives a damn! It's Brender! I wouldn've pitched in, I'm that excited. She's that good.

ReplyDeleteI do hope they give Brenda an actual story like they did for SJB when she came back. SJB pretty much dominated GH for her entire stint on the show. ABC got a big bang for their buck there. Other returning characters have been diluted by this continuing and awful Corinthos story. If you combine Brenda, Olivia, Carly, and Skye what do you get? Could be combustive or catastrophic or damn good viewing. Who knows with GH.
