Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...

I feel bad for him. Kind of a desperate move. Plus I'm not sure what kind of following he has these days for it to be a rallying cry. I have a long list of GH faces I want to see back (not to mention OLTL) before I'd want Jagger.
ReplyDeleteJagger doesn't really have a connection to GH anymore. He did have a stint on Night Shift with an autistic son, but who would he return to see? Karen died on Port Charles, Brenda is gone and Robin is being held somewhere. I just don't see him being involved in finding her. No disrespect to his fans, but I just don't know what they'd do with him. Goodness knows we have enough police officer characters right now. It's a puzzler.

Also, didnt he come back and do a stint on the spin off Port Charles? How did they end the story of his character there?

ReplyDeleteJagger returned for Night Shift 2 (which had a limited run on Soapnet vs. Port Charles which had an "opened-ended" run on ABC)...When he returned, Karen had died and he was an FBI agent with an autistic son. He reconnected with Robin and they even almost kissed but at the end of the series he and his boy returned to wherever he was assigned by the agency and his relationship and view of his son's autism had grown.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't a bad storyline at all and while his acting wasn't great by any stretch (Tristan Rogers and Finola were so brilliant on that series that they really were the standouts), it didn't really distract from anything either.

ReplyDeleteBring him back as an FBI agent get Jerry/ Helena/ Duke or WHOEVER is behind this plot OR have him work under cover to bring down sonny OR have him show up one day with his kid who is sick and bring him to the hospital and give him scenes with Liz.
ReplyDeleteTodd/McBain/Starr had no connection to PC and they were shoved in, why not Jagger. He knows lots of people in PC and at least HE is part of GH History.
May not be the best actor but, watching Trey and Kristina, he certainly would not be the worst! The writers could fit him in and he would fill a "hunky" void and he is from the Karen, Jason, Brenda, Robin bunch. GH fans know who he is and it could work. At least he's not being greedy looking for $$$.

ReplyDeleteWhoever plays Kristina keeps adding a "k" sound at the end of -ing words. It's distracting-k and irritating-k. I hope they coach that out of her soon...or recast her...
