Multiple sources confirm to Digest that Tyler Christopher will not be returning to the role of Nikolas on GH, which he originated in 1996. The actor has been off-screen since June, at which point the character was temporarily recast with Nick Stabile. Though both parties had hoped to strike a new contract deal and for Christopher to report back to work in September, negotiations fell apart last month. Man, I am so fed up with the show. Not so much the murder today, (although you are right, KD, it was really graphic) even though I always liked the victim.

Even though it would have been a tricky explanation to come up with, I was looking forward to Nicolas coming back.
Instead, I got Hayden with a four year contract, Julian about to get away with murder, Alexis going bonkers, Carly about to be "Carlied" by the kidney donor, Morgan off his meds, Ava getting away with everything, and if the trends are correct, Paul getting away with serial murders.
It is a soap opera, and there is supposed to be romance. JaSam, with Billy Miller as Jason, just doesn't do it for me.
I am liking Franco and Liz.
And good new today was that it looks like Monica is going to make it. (I'm trying to find some good. Hee hee hee.)

ReplyDeleteI wish they would have kept Sabrina and got rid of that twit, Nellie. Hate the kidney story and how long it has drug out. Also the Morgan story has been drug out and it is NOT interesting. Wish the writers knew how to write better stories and tell a story with couples together, not apart all the time.

ReplyDeleteI definitely don't want Nick S back. He played Nicholas like a prissy englishman. (Sorry if that's offensive to anyone. lol But he definitely came off as English to me rather than Greek or American.)
ReplyDeleteI am so disappointed. He won an Wmmy this year and they can't pay him what he is worth, which is a lot. Instead they are paying all these superfluous actors, half of whom should be gone.

I was REALLY surprised when I heard this earlier today. Especially since the new issue of ABC SID that came out this week, said he was back to work, and there were "interesting things coming." :(

Maybe we older GH fans need to take to twitter in mass like Michael Easton's fans did and make so much of a protest that they bring him back. The squeaky wheel people, the squeaky wheel.
