Just a quick post to clear up some things:
Non-Duke switched the fingerprints in the FBI Data base so they'd match "Duke's"-- watch the scene. He goes for his gun while they are searching, relaxes when they match. Hacking worked.
Why didn't Non-Duke learn ROBIN's memories?
Number one: didn't think she'd try to escape, ergo he had to go to the clinic soonerr
Two: By the time he would "rescue" her she'd be so grateful she was out, she wouldn't question him
Three: He's bent on convincing Anna..not her daughter. Who he kidnapped.
I now think he will "erase her memory" with Helena's help (like she did with Lucky) or alter her memories all together. Think Men in Black Pen. Or "Inception Machine".
I will have a full history of UNDER THE MASK next week-- just in case it's NOT Faison. Hey, could be Helena with a sex change who knows with Ron! LOL I guessed Faison from the beginning because I swear Non-Duke had his mannerisms. Cock of the head..stilted speech.. even the walk at times. Ian B must have studied tapes!
NEW SCOOPS UP!! Read 'em and weep! November will be a sad month with Edward's passing, and will reflect the love for John Ingle!!

This was a MEGA Filler Show
Welp, here's hoping there's more going on today than yesterday!!!! It was tough to get through. Michael and Curtis are in the gym...
-
Meredith Baxter This morning it was announced that television icon Meredith Baxter will be taking over the role of Monica Quartermaine....
-
Well, ratings are out. So much for getting rid of Dan and Chris!!! How'd that work out for ya? You see my friends, it's not ONLY T...

Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...
I totally agree! I also think he IS working with Helena, and you are spot on with erasing her memory! Loving GH these days!
ReplyDeleteKaren: Faison has always been, far and away, the 'favorite' as the villain behind Robin, Jerry Jacks, etc. I'd say 90% chance it's him, 9% chance it's Grant Putnam- which would be really cool because Duke actually interacted with him in the Snowman kidnap caper- real Duke never met Faison. 1% chance it's Lisa Niles behind this.
ReplyDeleteThe best part is I don't think they'll waste Buchanan as a facade, which means there is a REAL Duke out there, and perhaps Faison found out what the Jeromes did to him (the Turkish prison angle), and he was the guy who sidled up to Duke. I think Luke finds the real Duke still in a Turkish prison.
C'mon...they showed long, unruly grey heir...it's Faison.

ReplyDeleteYes, Faison is the likely villain, but when Grant Putnam came back and kidnapped Anna, he was shown from behind, with a beard, before the reveal.
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer Grant, but Faison is a good, if predictable, choice.
I would be very sad to lose Ian Buchanan (though I genuinely could not STAND watching him the last month) so I do really hope that Duke will be discovered alive as a result of all of this.
ReplyDeleteThe biggest problem I see with that is that there are positively no genuinely similar physical characteristic I can recall. Ian must be taller than Anders and he also has more bulk to him - to show them together in a scene at any point would make it laughable that anyone could ever have believed Faison was Duke.
On the positive side - Faison wasn't around for the Duke stuff and definitely couldn't have summoned Duke's memories from the grave. The mask, as well, was such a good replica it would have had to have been taken from a living human, not someone who had been decomposing for the last 20+ years.
Karen I have been reading you forever and just started watching GH again and I am loving it. Hope they redeem AJ because that was really the point I started becoming a sporadic watcher--Billy Warlock on a meathook! Too much! I was a huge Sonny fan until he became like victor on Y&R, untouchable. Listening to Michael talk about how of course Sonny pulls guns on people all the time, but doing that to AJ was different, A huge rationalization!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, one question-- how didn't Anna know she was kissing a mask? I can almost believe everything else but that!
I saw the long grey hair too. It's absolutely Faison! Gh is back baby!
ReplyDeleteI paused the preview and then did super slow ff and no doubt the shoulder length hair is there, it's Faison! But, I'm praying the real Duke is alive, I miss Anna and Duke.
ReplyDeleteLoved all the Q stuff, I've missed the Quartermaines. John Ingle is such a loss and seeing the Quartermaines on screen lately makes this fan miss him even more :(
The show has become the show to NOT MISS :)
Anna has kissed latex face, no? Pretty sure it doesn't feel like real skin...Anna's too smart for that.
ReplyDeleteI guess like science fiction, we just need to suspense disbelief.
OK, I was the FIRST ONE to comment on Anna kissing the mask, see my response to yesterday's blog.
ReplyDeleteIF Faison has Robin because he was obsessed with Anna PERHAPS he also has Georgie as he was also obsessed with Felicia? We can hope...
ReplyDeleteAnother point to bring up here is not just kissing "the mask", let us go a little further....Didn't "Duke" invite Anna to spend the night with him? How would he pull that off...
ReplyDeleteAlso, at this point anyone could be alive! Remember, no one dies in this town.
Thank God Tristan has let his hair go grey for his next GH stint! It looks a lot better that way than the dye job.
