BY THE WAY, it's 2017

IT's 2017, don't you know???

OOHH!! Jason Burton has no idea it's 2017! He's all: FIVE YEARS GONE?? HAHAHA. This could be good. You know I'll have fun with it.  He asks Huxley if he can see his photos and emails on his phone because he doesn't believe the date. Huxley says sure. Burton cries -- he's so upset he's missed 5 years.  Burton did a good job today. Yes he did.

Michael doesn't think "Jason is acting like Jason" LOL!! OMG!! He's talking to Sam about it. She says he's not the Jason they knew but he should have a "new normal" with him. Oh...such anvils!!

Later, Sam goes to the penthouse and gives Jason Miller boxes and boxes of food from Kelly's! Jason Miller says he has to go to NYC for a "surprise". He had gotten off the phone with Julian earlier. Sam says she's going to NYC with him.  I think he may be buying the garage from Julian?? Remember that place?

CarSon is ragging on Griffin in the chapel at GH.  They are so snotty. Morgan's been dead a year. Oh man, it's going to be more of the OHHHH MOOORGAN.

Friz is talking about Franco's art.  Then Franco spills about Andrew and the Twin Jasons. Liz says you should tell Jason. He's arguing not to. They see Sam and Miller later. Liz says "we need to tell you something" . BUT based on previews, I don't think that happens.

Nina and Nelle are just...talking about not about much. I mean, really--- it's just dumb. Michael is going to have Curtis look into Nelle's past.  Nina tells Nelle to just "be herself". Nelle calls someone mysteriously later.

SPECULATION: (AFTER watching soaps for 90 years): Burton will go back to Port Charles and see Miller and Sam together. He'll think she's moved on from him--with a new man. Of course, not realizing she thinks it's HIM.
Just watch.

IDEA:  Spinelli and Curtis PI agency LOL YEP. FUN will ensue!!

Isnt this kinda what Robin did with Patrick and Sabrina? Kinda sorta?

You had a few nice things to say about the show today. Feeling ok? So unlike you. Has the fall weather hit Rochester and affected you?

The boat:

Huxley and Jason: Oh Jason is just upset that he is 5 years older and he didn't even know it!

Kelly's:

Sam and Michael: Oh great scene! Love how Sam was talking about her past. :)

Michael and Curtis: LOVE IT! Yeah Michael get to the truth! Even if the truth turns out that Janelle is a killer!

Paint and Wall home:

Curtis and Drew: I didn't know that Drew was short for Andrew.. Awwww no more scenes of them working together. :( Drew trying to call Julian?!!! HUH?!

Paint and Wall: Blah blah blah. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Hospital chapel:

Carson: Wow! Has it been almost a year already since Morgan's death?! Carson scene is so sad. :( Oh Carson I am sure Morgan is somewhere with amnesia for a year.

Carson and Griffy: Ava warnings! ROFL! Well at least the old Carly showed up. :)

Private room:

Friz: Glad BobTodd told Liz!!!!! :)

Crimson:

Janey and Nina: Janey all whiny, but Nina gave great advice!!! :)

I pretty much FF through this show. GH is in serious trouble....the writing and the scenes are so boring. Nothing exciting to watch...they need help desperately.

Me too!

I can't believe he wants him to use his PI skills to prove she's innocent. WAKE UP MIKEY!

Dave-- I don't know-- the show was OK today--well, parts of it. I still wanted to stab CarSon and Nelle LOL :)

Carly and Sonny both have done equally or even more horrendous things than Ava, but of course they have conveniently forgotten that. Michael is an idiot-always has been. Nelle’s dress is so ugly, her hair looks terrible and when I see her the word skank comes to mind.

Storyline is so predictable and lame, just like the character of Jason.

** I'm gonna show my age again here, but the FIRST tbing that came to my mind about the idea, was the HORRIBLE and (mercifully) short-lived "Hill Street Blues" spinoff "Beverly Hills Buntz" Which was pretty much that exact idea/plot. And we've already had one main HSB actor on GH.

Haha I know, but hopefully it will end up proving she is guilty, and he will dump her!!

"K says "Hill Street Blues" spinoff "Beverly Hills Buntz"

I never heard of Beverly Hills Buntz before.. I will have to look that up.. That bad huh?

Looks like it only aired a yr. Starred Dennis Franz.

Sam: "Michael, do you need a private investigator? Curtis is a PI!"

Uh, Sam? YOU ARE A PI. (As are Spinelli and Felicia. For a small town, Port Chuckles has quite a few PIs!)

The funniest line of the day for me was when Carly said "Morgan could have done so many things with his life, join the Peace Corp...." ::::THUD::::

Michelle Latta said...

Oh yeh I forgot about Flea. Sam is stupid, she probably didn't offer herself up because she wants to sec up her not yet revealed brother in law or because then the writers couldn't have written her going out of town.

*** This rewriting of Morgan's character since his death is definitely laughable.

** Which is why if there is ANYTHING positive coming out of the SB/Jason return, it will be when Sonny and Carly realize it was Ava that rescued him, and helped him escape.

** Yep, they pretty much took his character and his "snitch" and stuck them in L.A. It was bad enough that it still sticks out in my head. And I LOVED HSB when it was on. Then again though, very rarely do spin-offs actually work.

Here's the pilot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MzSckyDTjQ (Watch at your own risk, and it looks like someone actually put most if not all of it on YT)

I can't wait for that!! Haha! Dang my tube has changed, I used to despise Ava as much as Carson. But she's really changing. This fire is actually a blessing.

I knew of HSB but never watched. I think my patents did.

** Unfortunately, it probably won't be for another month yet, at the least before we'll get to see that, at the rate the storyline is going now. At this point though, it's about the only positive thing coming out of the whole storyline and his return. I really liked Maura on ATWT, where she more than proved that she was a great actress. (Her stuff with Jon Lindstrom's Craig was fantastic!) Her short run on Y&R after ATWT was a big miscast. But to be fair, it was during the 10 year period of 2006 - the fall of 2016, when Y&R hardly even resembled how it was MEANT to be. But, is FINALLY back on track. So when she came aboard GH, I always enjoyed watching her, even if I'd have loved to strangle Ava on many occasions. You're absolutely right though, that the fire was a blessing in disguise. When she took off with Nik, was when I first started to like the char. That was when really started to understand that her actions have consequences with others, even if it wasn't obvious at the time.

** Being unable to drive in MT, on a weeknight in the early 80s (in the VERY early days of cable), one tended to watch a lot of TV back then. HSB essentially was the first "realistic" cop show on TV. So it was very good and drawing your interest, and keeping it, at the time.

It did have a GH connection, actually. One of the main cast members, Bruce Weitz, later went on to play Anthony Zacharra. (And you can DEFINITELY see the similarities in both of his performances.
