Go to this Google article about censorship on the net... it would kill sites like mine and hundreds of other daytime blogs and sites as well. It would cripple our ability to bring you the dish on all your fave things!!

Up and down week for me when it came to enjoyment. It seemed like things were shuffled up wrong in the editing room and it made me scratch...
If they take all the sites away,they should pay our computer bill every month.

Best scenerio is that Ron's writing is so good, that another network will pick up this show.
For daytime. Whether it be nbc or cable channel. Again jmo.
There is a report out this evening from TV Guide, that is saying that while General Hospital may get the ax later this year in the daytime to make room for Katie Couric’s new syndicated talk show that the alphabet network may be looking into other scenarios to keep the show on the air in primetime!

Even if the cost of production doubled over the typical soap budget (around $200,000 per episode), a nighttime version of GH would still be inexpensive for an original scripted show.”
Perhaps, what they really should be doing is keeping GH on the air in the daytime and doing a summer series to bring more eyeballs to it in the daytime, so the soap doesn’t go away all together? Whatever the case, new creative heads, Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati are plotting big returns for GH with Robert, Anna and Holly and bringing John McBain and the Mannings over from OLTL, be it long or short term to try and drive up the ratings and invigorate the ailing lone ABC soap
Can I just say that the posters at Soap Central are bat-shit crazy? These nincompoops raised hell at the mere mention of Lexi's Kristina being involved with Ethan yet they are taking guesses at who TJ (who is supposed to be 14 yo) will be sleeping with! But of course -- since he LOOKS 18! I really hate these fucking idiots.

ReplyDeletei can't believe that censoring the internet is even an issue in this country. we have always been on the side of freedom, but if S.O.P.A. and P.I.P.A. pass then freedom will be a thing of the past. I really hope it doesn't pass, but as things in this country stand I am ready to move up to Canada or across the pond to the UK.
