Robin Scoops & Rumors Came My Way...

Some spoilers are surfacing on Robin-- and I've put them up on the Wubs Net. Seems the Lisa murder heats up and Robin wants to deflect the focus, especially since she realizes she's ill. As more comes in, I'll let you know!! This story is EVOLVING however, so who knows where it will end up. Sources say Feb Sweeps will be "poignant".

Friday: O' Canada!

Today is my 'boy's' birthday.. he was born at 3:58pm and I kid that he waited until GH was over to come into the world (not that I was watching after 27 hours of labor ,thank you!!) I'm off to the  North so he can order a beer legit-- at least he's going with us and not a car full of friends! 

ERGO--- I won't be here for the show.  That means Sonya has to take over the recaps if she's watching and everyone else that posts daily can help.  Let me know the skivvy. Somehow I don't think I'll miss anything crucial. 


NEW SCOOPS are posted-- mostly Franco and Lucky related. Franco for stalking the wedding/honeymoon and Lucky for being all jittery for Vicodin and packing up Siobhan's things.

I am predicting a nice Murder Mystery coming up-- maybe for November Sweeps?  Not saying who's dying yet-- or if they are really 'dead-dead'-- but I do think something's brewing.  

Nu Kate and Sonny will cross paths soon-- we'll have to see if there's any spark in that there recast.  I really felt like I was watching a show from the past with Olivia/Kate yesterday. It was a bit bizarre. Also, did anyone note the star tattoo on her wrist? Is she connected to the flour bags? LOL!!

I thought I'd write a short  blurb about Scoops/Rumors because things are just all over the place and I'm not 100% sure on things right now. Flux, change and just the unknown is the rule  of the day lately!! I'm holding back a bit on the longer-projected scoops, so hang in there. I'll let you know what I do. A  lot of people have asked about Raven's rumors and a Genie return. I haven't heard anything from my camp on that. Casting is going on for the newbies that are coming.  Will Siobhan die? Does she have an identical twin?? Is Ric coming back? Will Rick Herbst play him??

(She was married to the mob when she was on "The City"). Siobhan is in danger-- Drugs are all over the place, and Jason's health goes up and down. I think that next week will be good with all his coma-journeys. And Lante fans-- Dante gives Lulu a lulu of a gift!

Some tidbits from the FCW: NLG says that Alexis and Diane will go on an Adventure together. It involves a bar, a fender-bender and hijinks. Also the news came out that Sam's daddy may be found after all! Imagine that. Vanessa Marcil showed up as a surprise guest at Nancy's event last night. How fun is that? 

Many more fan club events to come!! I hope anyone who is there will let us know and maybe give some scoop/photos. We are all baking out here and are a tad jealous. 

INTERESTING: When I posted the JaSam "save the date" yesterday, it was Sept. 26th. Well, The GH page on Facebook changed it to the 23rd!! (that's the last day AMC airs, ensuring a bigger pull). So mark that on your calendars instead. Of course, you know it will run into the next week as well.

Because we need more "Spunky Gals in their 30's" On GH.. NOT
This may be when Johnny goes to Bensonhurst..not sure yet. That whole part could be scraped. I'm hearing 2 different things.  Maybe this chick is for Sonny. WHO knows.

Raven is saying both Ric and Alkazar may be coming back to GH...if you had to pick, which one would you go for?? I'm torn. Both are likely only coming for a short-term stint, btw. (I honestly thought RH would never come back..hmmmm)   I just hope if all these people do make it back on canvas they get WRITTEN for. We've had enough of 'bad comebacks' that's for DANG sure!!

I love how they did the OLTL bully story-- wow. IT's still going on, just like real life, it's not going to just end. They use everyone and history. I am so going to miss it. 

SO happy Siobhan carried lilacs!! That's Rochester's flower!! Loved her dress too. Liz had a flashback to the church wedding. JJ could cry good even back then! The marriage certificate was dated May 4th-- so Today is Jake's Bday

Sonny never calls Lucian "Lucian"..notice he says: Her son or that child..or that little boy. LOL Brenda is the stupidest person on daytime right now. Unbelievable. Why WOULDN'T it be Suzanne??!! After you tell her about the DNA test the kid disappears!? Ugh!

Luke doesn't think he's a drunk because he's a "nice drunk" LOL..BOBBIE Mention!! And he told the story about his Dad killing his mom. Although it used to be she died when she was sick and the dad wouldn't help her get medical care. But, who's keeping track right? 

Jason and Jake on the motorcycle are so cute!! That kid is just perfect to play his son. And they killed him off. Good lord. Liason was on...they talked about Jake...Wish "Jake" was on as much as when he was alive than when he was dead!!!

Sunday Surgery: Balkan Reveal Leaves Fans Lethargic

It happened. FINALLY! Were you surprised? Not if you read this blog or the wubs net or any other site on the net . LOL. I think it was pretty well known that Daniel B was hired to play the part. With his bald head, round glasses and "accent" he's straight out of a Bond film. GH did do a good job of trying to keep the lid on. Vanessa Marcil said she was "blown away" by the identity.  I personally think she was going by her script which had  Jerry as the Balkan...half the cast probably didn't even know for sure. Now that we know he's the baddie, I can see a lot of air going out of GH's sails in the next few weeks. Sure, they have the bus crash coming. It looks great in the promo, doesn't it?? Let's hope it's that exciting when we watch it.  That's what our show does best, these "events". I just wish it could carry over on a consistent basis.

Things that are still hanging-- where did  Lady Jane go? Why only use her for one scene? Where's Sam been-- after all, Jerry's last obsession was with her and no one even seemed to care where she might be when he was running around town.  While I'm glad all the kids will be on this bus trip, it's so sad they are hardly ever seen at other times.  Trot them out for a catastrophic thing...then put them back in the storage closet. Maybe Jason will remember he has Jake? Gee, there you go.  Brooke Lyn and Nikolas might intrigue me--if they were on more than 1x a month. And  contract for her to be his "companion"?? Tyler Christopher has to be dying thinking Nikolas would have to pay for someone to accompany him! There are plenty of debs to choose from in the circuit I'm sure that would LOVE to go out with a prince!  
Monica's absence is a huge hole.  Jason will take Michael to see Edward--but Monica is gone. She's also not around for the bus crash OR the Luke/Tracy wedding!! Monica=the NuAudrey. MIA.

We'd probably care more about Tyler (that's him up there)  if the last time we saw him wasn't in like AUGUST. Same with "Bryce" the kid yelling at Michael  in Kelly's. I have NO clue how they expect newbies to know anything that's going on.

They are bringing on another new Doc...pediatrician Tyrell... and a wedding planner, Carol. Great, more newbies in an already crowded canvas. Where has Suzanne been? I tell you what, she'd better be revealed to be Theo's "ex" and Alex's Mom or her existence is wasted. I was thinking we lived through how many months of Brenda in Rome-- with Monty, for what? Zzzzzzzzzz. More characters thrown in not related to anyone: Abby...Siobhan...Claire...Suzanne...yada yada.

Lethargy is the word for today. Lazy writing--Lazy Fans...Lazy, Lazy. S&Bers did get their night o' love --and a new house. Soon they'll get a proposal--things look good on that end. The Genie Francis rumor is coming up again. Maybe she'll return to cause angst for the newlyweds? 

Since I'm here every week I'm going to give the Golden Scalpel to the performer I think gave 110% this past week for Sunday Surgery. This week's GS goes to: Sebastian Roche who classes up the joint no matter what he has to say. I only wish he and Connie Towers (Helena) could share many scenes, and I'd be in heaven!!

Tony Geary (Luke) is going to be performing in the play "Into the Woods" at Lucid by Proxy, an LA based theater group. Geary plays the Narrator/Mysterious man in the play.  Soaps.com has all the deets.

Rick  Hearst (@wildmook) will be appearing on an episode of "Castle"! It shoots October 7th...no airdate yet, I'll update you when I know more.

Sunday Surgery: A Cabin in the Woods

Oh, Lisa...dragging Robin off to a cabin in the woods..a cabin we've seen so many times before. Maybe someday, my wish will be granted and I can be a props-master and actually get into one of those to decorate it. Wubbers noticed  that was totally Patrick's old couch in there. Maybe next time, they could put a "cottage" looking place up. Think of all the stuff that's happened in cabins over the years. Babie's being born..sex being seen-- Luke smashed in the bear trap, Claudia hacked up.  Then what's next? Robin falls in a well...and how many people have been trapped like that? I'm thinking about Natalie--wasn't she in a well forever on #AMC? Erica was just trapped somewhere in the woods. At least the STONE fans will get a bit to squeel about with all this. 

All of that Deja Vu-- and another mysterious baddie coming. Text Message Killer, Karpov, Anthony Zacchara--numerous Cassadine villians. When in doubt, send in some maniac to stir things up. See, I like the whole Bauer thing because it was real peoples. What ever happened to his wife?? She'll probably show up in a year or so when Guza remembers she's still  hanging around Port Charles in our collective ghost closet.

Brenda will be "home" this week... I wonder  if that's a record for a "return" --actually coming back to the town where the soap is set.  You know I haven't been happy about that situation. At least we'll  see her with Carly. I'm so sad Sarah Brown is gone because her as Claudia confronting Brenda? Whoooooooo Weee!! Sonny should still be married to HER right now, and then Brenda come along. Claudia would eat her up, spit her out. Talk about psycho! But no, we have CLAIRE. :eyeroll: Not that I don't like DS-- but I wish she was seeing someone ELSE on canvas. We all know she's a stand-in.  What's going to happen next? Will she get a whacko on like Lisa? Does she die? Slink away? Get involved with Ric...oh..wait..he's gone. LOL.
I'm personally looking most forward to the Spinelli/Brenda/Jason scenes. Should be too fun.

Now there's word on  Soap Central that ZOE might be coming?? Really?  I thought that was long done. We'll see if casting is announced.  I mean, Maya is languishing in the background doing nothing. I guess having her on with Ethan every other week for 5 minutes constitues something, but I'm not sure what. Why bother with Zoe unless of course, it's to draw Michael out of his shell.
Tony Geary shows up to visit Lucky in jail...not sure how long it will take him to get back to Port Charles. Let's hope it's faster than it took Brenda.

Other stuff coming: Michael is going to start to open up more about the whole prison thing, Maxie and Sam are jealous and you know Carly's going to be out of her mind. Becky's back taping on set so Liz will walk in on Brooke and Nik as well. (not actually having sex, I don't think). 

The Desi Geetsman  "Evening with the Stars" is set for October 9th. This is a long standing charity with soap stars and has become a beloved annual event. I have some fun photos of Tony Geary with Vannessa I'll have to look up for you sometime. Tickets: $100 per person at the  Los Angeles Landmark at the Farmers Market.  Click on link for tickets!
