Sam is visited by Alexis. She shows her the ring Dante gave her and they want to celebrate. They talk about how good Dante has been for Sam and how much they love each other.
Jason is taking the kids up to see Sam. They step out of the elevator and a beeper goes off. Liz and Portia run. Alexis runs out of Sam's room. Jason sees her. UT OH. Jason tells Danny to go with Scout. Danny takes Scout out to Bobbie's. Alexis is shaking her head. Portia, Lucas and Liz work on Sam. She's not waking up. Paddles. They think a pulmonary embolism.
Portia and Trina talk about Heather leaving. Trina wonders what she had to do with it. Portia says nothing. They are happy. Trina says her partner at college didn't show for some project. I think this will be the NuGuy "Kai".
Willow is looking for Michael who didn't come home last night. Then Drew comes to the door. Drew doesn't shut up even though Willow tells him to leave. He wants to know what Nina told her. She just says what happened at the bar. She still doesn't know that he sleeps with Nina.
Sasha wakes up with..Michael. She flashes back to them drinking and then going at it. They say they drank too much and OH NO..yada yada. Sasha says she knew about the Willow and Drew kiss. Then she says "the second time they kissed" and Michael was all SECOND TIME???!! He gets really angry. "SHE made a choice"!! Says the boy in the bathrobe. :eyeroll:
Dante and Rocco are at the Surf Shop eating. Rocco wants to see Lulu and Dante says he has to talk to him first. He says he asked Sam to marry him. Rocco is all: What about MOM? They talk about Sam and Lulu and such.
Cody is at Maxie's and James is talking to him about sleeping so long on the couch. Cody is hung over. James is Andy from Toy Story. James leaves for a party. Maxie talks to Drew about what is going on. She knows they are first cousins. He drinks coffee. They TALK AND TALK

Sam dies at 5:48pm.
THIS SHOW is MADDENING. The entire show should have been focused on Sam and the Lulu situation. WTF. . They CUT FROM SAM being worked on to Maxie and Cody, then Willow and Drew to Michael and Sasha THEN back to Maxie and CODY!. Before showing Alexis and Jason and then Sam again. Just not how you do it.

------Embolism DOES happen that fast (a friend of mine had it) and it can't be helped (except the stupid writers) so at least it's not Cyrus's fault.....Sam wasn't even hooked up to anything.
-----Danny was GREAT in realizing what Jason wanted him to do and I LIKE that it was just Jason and Alexis (no Carly, Kristina, Molly, Sonny) around....Nobody does grief like NLG.
------Michael is the worst too --------standing there in a robe after having sex with Sasha talking about Willow's two kisses and blaming Drew.
------CANNOT wait until Willow finds out about Nina. I hate Drew but I was glad he didn't cave to the blackmail. (does he even KNOW his daughter is about to Trick or Treat?) and the timing is off - Sam died 5:48 and yet Michael and Sasha had just gotten up......
-----Willow also hypocritical - my gosh how many people did SHE tell about the kiss and she blames Sasha for telling her boyfriend/first cousin??? Cody gotta stop whining about his life though - it's getting old....
I think Cody is only getting starting. After all it hasn't even been 24 hours.

Despite the horrible editing I loved yesterday's show.
Delete1. Very happy Liz was in Kelly's final scenes. And Lucas's denial was spot on.
2. Danny was absolutely awesome with Scout. He gets big brother of the year!
3. Nancy is a terrific actress. I wanted to hug her.
4. I thought Michael was good yesterday. A big old hypocrite, but I don't have the dislike of his character like others. And he is a better actor with Sasha then Willow.
5. Drew is an icky, ucky, creeper.
6. No Carly.
Can't wait to see Dante when finds out. I'll want to hug him, too.

DeleteMy take on the Drew fiasco is that this is a highly damaged individual. From being kidnapped while in combat, then stripped of his memories, then brainwashed, then getting hit by a car resulting in needing facial reconstructive surgery, then finding out he was Jason, then finding he was not Jason and that Jason was his twin brother, then finding out he had a son, then losing his son, then being kidnapped and presumed dead for 2 years, while being no brainwashed again and tortured, then finding freedom only to be put back in jail, while being beaten up by Cyrus’s thugs….not to mention being subjected to abuse as a child as a ward of the state and his years of service as a chief petty officer.

Anna did tell him to take care of himself mentally after he got out, but he wanted to feel in control of his life for once. The sad reality is that Drew has been increasingly reckless because he never stopped to take care of himself mentally.

DeleteI realize a lot of people are angry that Sam was killed off. It's not a choice I would've made, I would've just had her leave town to protect her kids from the mob and Jason. It definitely seems like office politics was a factor in this decision.

I respect her for a 20+ year run on GH - that's to be commended for sure. That said though, I never really connected with the character all that much. I was much more offended by the way they cut Stuart Damon; also them bringing back Chris Robinson's Rick Webber to make him a pervert and then murdering his character....Dang I lost a lot of respect for GH with those storylines.
